I wish we had never been referred to RPM, nothing but a waste of time and money. My son only had two things done here, new headlights and a wicker bill installed, both have issues. when the headlights were installed there were missing body clips from the front bumper, tech did not install all wiring properly which causes the DRL's not to function properly, nor did they adjust the bulbs so they were pointing in different direction. We called and went back several times about the missing wiring with no resolution, no follow up as promised. With the wicker bill, they did no threading so the bolts are all loose and move around. Seems like a pretty standard thing that if you are installing a bolt on anything, there has to be threading to securely hold it in place. unless you enjoy being extremely frustrated and wasting your time and money, stay away from RPM. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. So I brought my rims there to be repaired due to running over a pot hole bending 2 of my rims. I needed 2 new tires as well. They did not have my tires in stock so I had to order 2 new tires to make sure all my tires matched. I was quoted $150 a rim from THOMAS. I brought the rims back a few weeks later and encountered IVAN who is a front desk salesman who works off commission that is very rude. I had him look at my rims and give me a quote. He quoted me $285 a rim. I'm like huh? He was all cocky acting like he knows all about rims and what the guys in the back have to do but again only works the front desk. Saying "my guys this and my guys that" when I'm feeling like get away from me you shady snake. I told him I was told $150 by the other man a few weeks back. So I said no I want to talk to THOMAS, who by the way was a part owner their and quoted me the same price plus I decided to get some of the curb rash fixed on a few of the other rims as well. So I Dropped them off and was told I would have them back the following week. I called every week and was told they are still working on them. Well finally a month later after weeks of calling I called again to speak to the other owner because I was fed up to ask her the status on my rims. She finally was able to find out what was going on. Finally I get my rims back the following week. Within a week or so one of the tires was loosing PSI. So I kept adding air thinking it would level out. Well it did not. I was loosing PSI at a rapid rate. I went back up there and had to deal with IVAN once again who was still rude and always looked annoyed at least every time I came in their. He said they couldn't get me in until the following week. I said last time it took 30 days. He shrugs his shoulders like "o well". I dropped my truck back off and had to catch an Uber to work. I called later in the day to ask for an update. IVAN claims my rim was bent again and it would be another $285 smh to fix it. I'm like huh? The rim was never fixed properly in the first place apparently. It was loosing PSI on the welded side plus another side. It was not straightened out properly in the first place to leak so quickly. I did not run over anything to bend the wheels again. So I said no I'm not paying more money. Already spent over $500 at this place. He is literally arguing with me on the phone at this point telling me that I went the cheaper route and I should have paid extra to have them fixed 100% completely. I'm like I thought that's what I paid for in the first place for a 100% job, then I told him he tried to rip me off in the first place by over quoting me to make more money for himself. So I said just put my tire back on and I would come get my truck. Well he calls back a few minutes later and said they would do it for $200. I'm like what? Then he said he was not sure if they could even do it that day. Now it's $85 less...I'm so confused at this point. So I said hell no I will come to get my truck. It was a very bad weld job in the first place so I was not going to let them touch my truck again. Mind you I asked IVAN could I speak to the owner but he claimed the owner was not it. Straight lied. I come to get my truck, paying more money for an Uber and IVAN is their at the front acting all nice because the owner was sitting their. She was very nice and I spoke to her privately about what was going on. My advice is do not go to this shop. And do not deal with IVAN for sure. Too many inconsistencies with pricing based off who the salesman is. And that's not right. He is worried about his pay check which is sad. Update so I took my truck to another rim shop today on hull street quoted me $129 to fix bent rims. No extra fees for mounting, balancing or anything. Very professional and fast place. They pulled my car right in to assess. They informed me that they could not fix the rim due to the previous bad weld job in the first place from RPM and it was leaking from the same spot that it was welded from plus the other side that was not straightened properly. So now I have to take the wheels off my truck and order a brand new rim. I spent all this money over $500 for a half job. IVAN should be ashamed of himself for trying to rip people off. Depends on who you are and how much commission he needs is the price your going to get. read more

My daughter dented the inside of her wheel hitting a pothole and we couldn't locate a replacement wheel in the timing she needed. Ivan spent a good deal of his time on the phone with me to make certain the wheel could be fixed before he committed to the repair. He did an amazing job repairing the wheel very quickly. Cool store to walk around in...only reason i know this is because of the SIX TIMES we went in to have my boyfriend's lightbulbs warrantied out that we bought from them. First visit, dropped the bulb off, everything was cool, they'd give us a call when the new ones come in. 2 WEEKS LATER, my boyfriend had to call them because he hadn't heard from them, and they had no clue what he was talking about!! To make a VERY long story/ordeal short, there was (and still is) a large lack of communication, both between the store and customers, and between the employees themselves....our bulb was THROWN AWAY, not having been warrantied out, and now we're out $170ish for a set of headlight bulbs. It's been 5 months (or more, I ran out of cares to give after the 3rd visit for the same problem), and we STILL haven't heard a word from them. I've given up on the whole ordeal, and will be ordering a new set of bulbs myself elsewhere. Tired of being ignored, forgotten, and disrespected. We've gotten tint done here, overall good experience way back then, but I'm starting to think we will be looking elsewhere for our tint and other car performance needs. read more

We were quoted $330 for window tint. Dropped car off and no one walked outside to look at car. Next day calling us saying will be $450 and wanting to give us reasons why theirs is the best and we should pay more. And the guy that quoted the price was was new! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They quoted me a wheel repair and told me the wheels would be turned around in 2-3 days. They have had my wheels for 4.5 WEEKS and provided no updates. I've called and left five messages trying to get an update on my wheels and still have not received a call back. I enlisted help from another shop that was handling my tires. RPM did speak to that person but told them that they didn't think they could repair my wheels and that I would likely have to replace them. This is after having my wheels for OVER A MONTH. Now they think they can't fix it? I could have ordered a new set of wheels, had them delivered, and put on my car in the time it has taken them to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Kyle and his team did a Great tint job on my Mazda 3. My only complaint is that I was quoted $400 and ended up paying $560. I did get my back window darker which costs a extra $100 but he gave me half price which I really appreciated! Still there was no explanation for the extra $100. The guy ringing me up said it was for the cost of "materials" and labor. I thought that would have been included in the original quote but it wasn't . I was surprised when the total was $560. It ended up costing me a whole lot more than expected but it was worth it . The tint comes with have a lifetime warranty as well . He even vacuumed out my car and did a great job washing the outside and even the tires looked brand new ! I would recommend anyone who wants a professional tint job to go to RPM :) read more

Bad on so many levels. Where to begin? The week of July 4th I took two wheels into their shop to get them "un-bent" after seeing the operations billboard on 64. One of the wheels had two serious bends in it (thanks to 64); the other wheel was just barely bent; my tire guy showed it to me when I asked him to put a tire on it......guy behind the counter says it'll take about a week, they're very backed up, it's a holiday, etc. I'm cool with that and tell him to go ahead. Quotes me a price of $300 something. He says he'll call me. A week goes by (now it's the Friday after July 4th) no phone call, nothing. So I go by the shop on my way home from work. Guy behind the counter says they aren't done, but he'll call me when they are, they're just running behing. Fast forward to August 6th. Haven't heard from them at all. So I call. Get some guy on the phone that can't figure out which wheels are mine and says my "salesman" is out to lunch (at 4 pm?) I'm frustrated so I tell him forget it I'll call back. Call back the next day. Guy on the phone doesn't know which wheels are mine (says they have so many wheels exactly like mine, blah blah). Again, my "salesman" is out to lunch (so says the guy on the phone). I leave my name and number and ask him to call. 5 minutes pass and I get a call from a different guy. Why he called I don't know, he didn't know anything and wasn't helpful; he asked me what kind of wheels I brought in, what my name was; kept saying he'd get it squared away. The very next day my "salesman" (and I can't remember his name, that's probably for the best though) calls me and leaves a voicemail, my wheels are done! Miraculous! So Friday the 8th of August (a full month after I dropped them off) I go to the shop to pick up my wheels. My "salesman" is there, helping another customer, so another guy helps me (after I stand there for 10 minutes just waiting)......I guess he's the wheel guy, because he starts showing me the wheels......and here's what he says. The wheel with two dents? Fixed one of them (the worst dent) but he says "the dent on the front is okay; you shouldn't feel any vibration from it or anything" WTF? The second wheel, he says "it tested in specs, I didn't see anything wrong with it" WFT? So my tire guy is wrong when he showed me it was bent on their tire balancer? and I'm wrong (because I saw it) ? And then he hands me my center caps....really? you can't pop in center caps before you hand over your work to a customer? Yeah, it's not a big deal, but it's the principal. If you're going to do a job, do it the whole way through..not half way (although at RPM I think that ship sailed a long time ago. I'm utterly speechless at this point......so I pay my money and get the hell out of there. Here's the sum total: After 4 weeks in their shop and $150, I still have two wheels that I can't put on my car. Score: RPM 150 Me 0 Customer service? Sucks. Quality of work? Sucks. Did half a job. I had RPM install a remote start with push button start and they did a great professional job. They have expert technicians on staff who really know what they are doing. They definitely took the time to thoroughly discuss the work involved and the estimate so that everything was very clear and straightforward before I purchased. The staff are also clear that they want every customer to be 100% satisfied (stating this outright), and have a lifetime guarantee on their install jobs. Also convenient pickup and drop-off from work if you leave your car there. I was on the fence between four and five stars for this review - the only reason I hesitate is because after my install I had to go in for a bit of follow-up work, and I showed up to two appointments only to be told that they had more work than anticipated that day and couldn't get to me. They really should have called to let me know rather than just letting me drive over there - twice in a row. I recommend calling to confirm appointments on the day of. But other than that relatively minor flub, their work was just really solid and professional. read more

Gave my tint a few months to see if it would hold up and it has, so far so good. There are no blemishes whatsoever, very smooth and even all the way around. Also no cellular interference. They use a higher quality tint, not the absolute top of the line but it is very durable. This was my first time getting tint on a car and I did a lot of research on it. Finally ended up with RPM, paid a little bit more than the cheaper tint spots in town but I think its worth it. I've heard some people's bad experiences going low budget on this stuff and it did not go so well. Their service takes all day because they take time to be thorough. The other less expensive places say they will do it in like 2 hours. Personally I would not want them rushing through this. I did have an issue where they miss scheduled me by mistake and I had to bring it back in on another day because I did not bring it in to them first thing in the morning. So just a heads up that you will need to drop off your car in the morning and pick it up in the evening. Great tint service, I would go back again. read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! I took my 2005 Acura TL to RPM to get an AEM Intake put in. They quoted me $125.00 and said would take an hour. I got there at 3p & they didn't finish until 630p...$200 later! I get home and to check out the work the did by comparing it to the instructions (very easy to understand & good illustrations). If I had the tools & a place to do it, I would have done it myself! So upon looking at their work, there was an o-ring missing on the hex head plug on the inlet pipe. They also didn't replace the factory coolant hose with supplied AEM 5/16 hose. I will NEVER go back to that place or recommend to anyone else! read more

There's nothing more that I dislike than a business that is not honest. Not only do they lack integrity, but organization, and are extremely overpriced. Brought my vehicle in last week for something simple, that should have been completed in a day(dropped it off before the start of business). When I called mid day, they didn't know what the vehicle was there for, even though I called the day before to confirm drop off. The stated they could not have the vehicle back to me till Monday Bc of what had to be done. I couldn't be without my vehicle more than a day and clearly went over, in detail what needed to be done to the car and how long it would take. It was clear to me, they forgot about my vehicle and tried to blame the shop, stating it was going to take them longer than normal to fix the issue (it was a cracked rim) Bc it was a large crack (mind you the car was driven in, so I'm not sure how large it could have been) and their welding shop is closed on Saturday. I've had a rim fixed before at other places out of state. It cost less, and when the rim was fixed, not only did they fix the crack, they refinished the entire rim, making it look new. They only fixed the rim by welding it and didn't even polish the area worked on. If I could give less than one star I would. Total cost: over $220 for a one inch weld in rim, not tire replaced, just the rim welded. read more

Very poor overall experience. Customer service is below par, especially for the prices that you are paying. It took multiple visits to have tint completed - several times I showed up at the shop and the individual that handles tint was not there despite phone conversations the very same day to set up an appointment. On most occasions I was left waiting at the front counter for 15-20 minutes with little to no assistance. First tint job was not adequate so it had to be redone, after quite a bit of hassle. No excuse for poor tinting when price is almost double that of competitors and the website boasts multiple awards/championships. Not worth the time or price. I would highly recommend going elsewhere...save yourself the hassle. read more

Then one time I needed some service done to my wheels, and Greg dicked around for 3 1/2 hours before I finally asked him what the hell was up with my car, then he finally went to look at it, and told me that I needed some items before I could get it done. Had some tint work done here and the quality of the work is exceptional. I gave my car to them in the morning and got it back by the end of the business day. The only reason I gave them 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because they kept changing the time at which I could pick up my car. I showed up twice to the location throughout the day because they said the work would be done but when I got there they kept delaying it. I don't mind if the work takes a while but there's no need to mislead the customer. read more

Called up and asked about getting some new wheels installed about a week beforehand and asked about an appointment.....no problem just bring it by that morning and we'll knock it out really quickly. I show up at 9:05 on Saturday morning and drop off the car and I'm told 3-4 hours....that's fine. I come back at 1pm and nothing. I stand around for an hour and they say it's still not done but it'll definitely be done in an hour, now I'm getting upset but not much I can do. Head back to a friend's place and then go back about an hour and a half later.........still nothing. Hang around for another hour and a half and it's finally done and they knocked about 5% off for the wait. It should take no more than an hour to unmount tires and remount them on new wheels, it took them 8 hours and more than double the time I was told it would take, ended up wasting an entire day waiting for them to do the work. read more

Terrible service. First off I went to get a catback exhaust put on and these guys kept my original catalyt converter and gave me the rest of my exhaust back. I'm guessing they sold it on eBay later. They did an absolutely terrible job on the tinting. It's warping and just looks embarrassing. I went to get it redone and thy tell me to be at the shop first thing in the morning on a Saturday. I arrive and wait for 15 mins and finally am told the guy who was suppose to do it is off today. This was a made appointment by them which really upset me. Terrible customer service and only one guy there named Kyle is nice. Everyone else there are arrogant and not the sharpest tools in the shed. read more

My rim was cracked where it caused the tire to go flat in less than 24 hours. I originally took it to a shop downtown who said they fix rims like this all the time. Paid 80$ to have it welded... 24 hours later it was flat again. So I took it here. After looking it over for a night they said the weld was causing the leak and they would re weld it for $220. I said if they can guarantee it fixed then fine. They did, so I paid them. Waited 2 days and didn't hear anything. Gave them a call back and they said it was ready. Picked it up and 24 hours it was leaking again. Took it back, they tried fixing it again and 2 more days didn't hear anything. So I called, and they said it should be ready by the end of the day. Picked it up, 24 more hours, leaking again. This time they said they had no idea. After an awkward silence I suggested maybe trying a spare tire on the rim to see if it leaked. They said they didn't have a tire that would fit(I have OEM rims). After another awkward silence, I had to be "that guy" and bring up a refund. The guy said he would have his manager call me. Got a message to bring it back in. This time they had the car for 2 full weeks. They finally said it seemed to be holding air with their tire, so after they put my tire back on I just went ahead and picked it up(racked up over 200 in Uber fees during all this, for what it's worth). It wasn't the $220 guaranteed fix (or any sort of fix) but whatever, I needed my car back and I didn't want any conflict. Anyway, the experience speaks for itself. read more

Very happy with the service I received yesterday. My custom wheels were missing lug nuts and my truck would not pass state inspection without them. My mechanic could not order them from Chevy or his other parts suppliers. With one of my custom lug nuts in hand, I searched the web for custom wheel stores and happened upon RPM. I was quickly acknowledged by Jake, who was working behind the counter, and then greeted by the owner, Kyle. RPM did not have my lug nuts in stock but they located them for me at a store near the airport. What happened next was what prompted this review. Kyle offered to get the lug nuts and deliver them to my mechanic in Glen Allen. This was a 50 mile round trip delivery for a $20 order! Folks, that is service. Kyle made no profit on that sale but earned my respect, loyalty, and my voice in the community. I recommend this store to anyone seeking custom wheels...and other items. I look forward to RPM fixing the wheel scratches on my Infiniti so that I can post another favorable review for that service. read more

i brought my 2008 Cadillac CTS for some upgrades... Got new audio system, remote start & windows tinted. Spoke with Joey about all I wanted. He was very professional, he took the time to explained all the different options & what was best for me. Didn't just up sell to more expensive items, but what was best for my needs & my budget. It was a one stop shop... got new audio system w/ navigation, new subwoofers & new speakers. Clean crisp sound w/ great bass. The remote start w/ security was a great idea especially during the cold mornings, Joey help me to work w/ my cell phone. Kyle did a great job on the tint, its been about 2 months & haven't had any issues, looks like it came directly from the factory. They quoted me the price & how long it would take so when I got my car back there was no surprise for the price or time of service.
