My AC went out today, and among the responses for help was one from Preet. He said in his message that he was solidly booked, but could send me some videos to help with my problem if I was a handyman type. He proceeded to send me about 8 videos showing how to replace the capacitor on my condenser. It turned out not to be the problem, as the blower fan was not able to start. Preet sent me several texts to try and help troubleshoot the problem. At one point, he even called me. I was thoroughly surprised that someone would do that in this day and age, with no expectation on being paid for his time. This company will surely get my business in the future. read more

Preet Heating gave me a free advice and saved me ahead of east bay heat wave. I short circuited furnace fuse when I tried to install a thermostat myself. I sent yelp request (as I didn't know what happened) and Preet messaged me back at 11PM saying that they don't serve my area but they can send me a video to teach me how to replace the 3amp fuse which they believe is the root cause of my problem. I replaced the fuse based on the video and everything works fine now. My total spend was just $5 and a trip to Home Depot. Preet goes beyond just basic customer service. I turned on my central AC unit and it made a crazy, loud sound like a lawnmower! Back in September, it had worked fine, so I was very dismayed by a potentially $$$ job. I sent out a mass request for quotes on Yelp, and Preet responded very fast with his phone number. I called and described the situation and answered Preet's follow-up questions. To my surprise, he said he'd be able to come in a couple of hours! I was floored. He said he would text my husband when he was within 30 minutes of my house, and he did. During the job, Preet and his associate diagnosed the problem and meticulously took apart, fixed, and put together the central AC unit, all for a very reasonable service fee. He said that it was a good machine and that there was no reason to dump it unless a major component had to be replaced. We had been told by another vendor that we would need a new unit, so Preet's honesty saved us so much time and money. He told us that if it's on the fritz to not hesitate to contact him again.
