I became a member last year to keep up on my HVAC to due preventive maintenance on the unit. Brandon came checked out the unit and noticed I had some deficiencies to the unit. There was no pressure on his part to fix it nor purchase a whole new unit. However I did inquire about the part vs the new unit. We sat discussed it ( keep in mind there was still no pressure on Brandon's part ) and both me and wife choose to buy a whole new unit since our HVAC was there in the early 1990's. As the process went on he also presented me with another options to add if I wanted too still there was no pressure just something to think about which I appreciated. Day 2 The workers came in and they noticed a greater threat to my water heater. Without any of this happening I would have been none the wiser to the defective water heater I had. So I went ahead and ordered a water as well and it it the best decision I had ever done. Everyone had a great shower that night! Thanks Guys! Day 3 Wrap up: Jesse and Anthony came in on a Saturday to wrap up the finished product and my wife is happy so my life is happy. I can say I stood back and looked at the finished product and could never be more happier than a clean and professional job they did. Job well done! One of the things I pride myself in, is being loyal with people, companies I have dealt with in times past. In the past we had Greener Solutions service our home In Stockton, CA..okay fine. This year our Air Conditioner would not start..they came out and did NOTHING! yet taking the $69.00 was front and center. recommended replacing the Capacitor for of a cost of $200.00 and $500.00 labor I purchased the Capacitor and Relay for under $50.00. I do understand a make-up but this was stupid ridiculous and I we were told that there was no fire to the Contractor. Long story short we called American Heating & Air, Company (which we also have used in the past) they came out just after dinner and worked on this thing until just after Mid-Night..changed the PC Board and made sure this unit was in working order ( not tell us we needed a NEW AC Unit as Greener Solutions had) and our cost was $258.75 parts and labor. My port to all of this is this..if customers call you..those customers are in need and seek re-leaf be it needing Heat or needing Cool Air..what they DO NOT need is a company coming out trying to take advantage of them by way of trying to get them to purchase a $5-6 Thousand dollar New system. You CAN NOT make right out of this. Staff was very, very friendly..but friendly will NOT get a billed paid from something you may not need. I had an energy efficient mortgage done with Greener Solutions as my contractor and I have to say, their commitment to quality and great customer service was outstanding! My realtor suggested when we went into escrow that I have an energy assessment done on the property, and not only did the owner come out himself to do it, he was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything in detail to me, clean (he wore booties the whole time while inside of the house) and we received a detailed report including pictures the next day! Their office handled all of the paperwork for me, they completed all the work on schedule, and now I have beautiful new windows on my home and a nice new on demand hot water heater! The work crew was curteous, knowleIdgeable, pleasant and very clean! have to say I was so impressed that never once did he try to sell me upgrades I did not need, now I will definitely be calling them anytime I need any home services and recommend Greener Solutions to everyone I know! I contacted Greener Solutions about two weeks ago to service my outdoor AC unit; a technician from Greener Solutions came to my house and told me a needed a new motor; I paid for the installation of the new motor which did not fix my problem. So I wrote a letter of complaint on YELP regarding my experience. Greener Solutions read my YELP review and within 48 hours they sent two technicians to my home to assure me that they will fix the problem and make me a satisfied customer. I am very satisfied with the work and service of Greener Solutions, they fix my AC, at no additional charge or cost; this gesture by Greener Solutions completely change my image of this company. They stood behind their work and made me a satisfied customer. I would recommend this company to other customers looking for help with air conditioning service, and roofing and solar services. First off, let me just say I would give these guys 6 stars if I could!! We own a 1937 home in Caldwell Village that needed both upgraded heating and air conditioning in the worst possible way. Inadequate air flow, not nearly enough vents, boiling hot in the Summer, freezing in the Winter. We called and Javier showed up promptly the same day. After spending a few hours he called in the heavy artillery (aka Hayden Logan) and we came to terms on a major (MAJOR!) re-do of everything--total new HVAC system, duct work, vents, water heater, roof repair, etc. From start to finish the team did an excellent job--arriving promptly every morning and cleaning up every evening when the work was done. Greener solutions came and did a safety inspection for us. Very professional and informative. Thank you carlos. My system stopped working and Senior Servoce Technician Rich Samkas cam out to take a look at the system. Rich fixed the issue within seconds and got our system cooling the hone onece again. We know the system needs replaced and we will have Rich out soon to upgrade it for us. Bret was amazing! Super friendly and Professional and you can tell he knows his stuff. He started by checking the filters and making sure we are using the correct size and quality filters. After that confirmed correct temp. for both cooling and heating coming from my ducts. Then checked the heater and cooling system in my attic for any issues and taking pictures and blowing out the dirt. Him and I talked through the whole system so I could understand the problem areas from top to bottom. He also checked the condenser unit outside and explained the cleaning process with the VIP maintenance plan. Went through freon and checked and noted with pictures for that as well. We ended with checking the water heater and gave me a few pointers on that. I will definitely be signing up for the VIP maintenance plan so I can keep my system running at optimal efficiency for the full life of my HVAC system. Thanks Bret you are awesome! read more

Very professional fast response and service. Called on a Tuesday explained my problem with my AC . The professional receptionist took great details of my deception of my issues with my AC. My schedule appointment was made on Thursday after 12pm. I received a call at 9:05 am from the owner Mr. Hayden stating hi good morning I know you have appointment this afternoon is it ok to come this morning. I said yes sure please. He arrived at my home approximately at 9:40am. Just know he checked my AC and even mention something else that needed to be done. Hayden and his crew installed our windows way back in 2013. Maybe 4 years ago, we noticed the tint on our office window looked distorted. Turns out the window had a factory defect. Hayden came through and got it replaced for us! Fast forward to 03/15/22. I called to inquire about our bathroom window and the office told me they could have someone out the next day. Talk about service...then who shows up, but Hayden himself. The last time we saw Hayden was when they installed windows on our daughter and son-in-laws home, a few years ago. We recently had our bathroom remodeled. But, because of the newly installed tiles, one of our window tracks was not functioning properly. Hayden called one of his technicians, Jesse to stop by later that day to fix the problem. As promised, Jesse showed up and repaired the problem. Doesn't get much better than that!! Excellent service. Rich, the senior service technician, arrived on time and performed a service inspection of our HVAC system. He was courteous and professional. He was respectful and used shoe covers as he walked around our home. He took videos of our system up on the roof and included photos of our attic as well to show us what type of service he recommended and why we needed it. He was a pleasure to work with. The next day, Danny, the other service technician, arrived earlier than the stated time and proceeded to get to work. He was also very pleasant and professional. He even went above and beyond by replacing a battery on our smoke detector. Overall I am very happy with this company, they seem to provide high quality service at reasonable prices. The kindest, most professional and knowledgeable company I've ever done business with. Hayden and every tech I've been in contact with (Marcel and Jesse most recently) has gone above and beyond for me. I had greener solutions install central heat and air when I bought my first home. That was 5 years ago and they still treat me like a number one priority! I had an issue with my heater this winter: I called at noon, they had someone here by 3 (on the same day!) and the problem solved, replacement part delivered and installed by 5. The staff is so friendly and really looking out for you. I've never been charged for anything I felt was unreasonable or unnecessary. I frequently refer to their employees as "saints". David and Trevor are both talented technicians and both explained very well in advance what they would be doing and at the conclusion of their work, the results and forecast that we should not experience HVAC problems for many years to come. I have had window installation, HVAC, and insulation installed by Greener Solutions, Jesse and his crew did an excellent job with the windows, David did a fantastic job with my A/ C unit installation,and the insulation crew also did a great job. Recently had a minor issue with my A/C and I called Greener Solutions about the problem,and I knowing it is a very busy time of year for them and because it was not an emergency situation they were able to come out in a couple days to check out the problem , it took two visits to correct the issue but in the end Tim did a great job getting my A/C back up and running properly again. Beware this company is very scammy... They will lie and bully you into a sale hayden told me I had a leak in the system and that I would die that night if I didn't buy it today, right then. Then he wanted a review I told him heck no and he tried to steal my phone so he could write his own.... the nerve of this tool. To top it off he was late to my appt. Got a second opinion and was told there's no leak and that I'm safe. My friend had called them prior and told me to stay away from them and I didn't listen. Their system had gone down and they tried to sell a new system over $28,000 and then a rebuild that cost over $3,200 - they got a second opinion and it was only needing a $150 part!!! I had a less-than-satisfactory experience with Greener Solutions Heat and AC. When my air conditioning unit stopped working, I called them for a diagnosis. Robert, the technician, arrived promptly and provided an estimate of $2,500 for repairs. The amount seemed high, so I decided to get a second opinion. To my surprise, another company was able to fix the issue for just $175! It was a much simpler and less costly repair than what Robert had suggested. While I appreciate that Greener Solutions responded quickly, I can't help but feel like the initial estimate was either inaccurate or excessive. I would advise caution and recommend getting a second opinion before committing to any major repairs. This experience left me feeling disappointed and wary of their pricing practices. read more

I am on contract with Greener Solutions for servicing of my HVAC system. Informed maintenance makes a difference. I asked about how to achieve indoor air quality in a house with large open spaces, since I'm sure that smoke in the valley from wildfires will be recurring. I appreciate getting an explanation from a professional. I also profited from what I learned about air filters and how they affect heater longevity. Although I had a service reschedule, I understand that is sometimes necessary, and Greener Solutions both kept me informed and was sensitive to my scheduling needs. Our 21 year old AC unit went out during a heat wave plus very poor air quality from local fires. Our home warranty was worthless after trying to contact them for a provider after 5 days.
