I have used Precision for around 10 years, and have never been disappointed. He knows his stuff, and he is quick! His team is great to work with, as well! Thanks for getting me up & running on such short notice. read more

Wow was I impressed. I woke up to no water. There were no broken pipes and knew it had to be something wrong with my well. I called Precision Pumps and they answered right away. They told me they could be out in 2 hours. They found the problem and fixed it and then alerted me to the fact I needed a new containment tank. They replaced it same day! They definately know what they are doing and the cost was reasonable. Best decision ever doing business with them. read more

Our well quit working and we discovered it this morning. We called Precision Pump and to my surprise the guy on the phone said they would be out in an hour or two. I expected to have to wait a few days. Sure enough in less than an hour they pulled up took a look and it and quickly knew what the problem was. To top it off they had the parts they needed to fix it on the truck. The guys were cool and quick. I think they were there for an hour or less. I highly recommend Precision Pump! -Forrest W read more

I live in Cherokee, and it is not always easy to get help up here. But, these guys are professional. They come when they say they will, they don't jam you on the price. A while back, I had called John to confirm an appointment I had for that afternoon. He said he would have to cancel. Naturally I started whining about not having water for a couple of days. He explained to me that he was having to evacuate due to one of the fires. I felt like an idiot, wished him well, and hung up. 45 minutes later, his guys pulled up. Thanks John read more

John is amazing! He has always done the best work for us with a positive attitude! A+, we can't recommend him enough.

Had concerns about my pumps condition and water levels in the well. Precision Pump returned my call the next day. We made the appointment ams they were right on time. Professional, courteous, and knew what they were doing. I selected Precision Pump because they helped a neighbor in dire need. Was a great decision! read more

I called and needed my well looked at. Because I had no water. I was thinking the switch was out. When the repairman showed up to check it out it turned out nothing was actually wrong with the well/solenoid A spider had tripped the switch. I was relieved of course but was shocked when precision pump charged me 250 for the service call mind you 12 miles to my house from there business and then 50 more for labor. Maybe a total of 5 minutes. So a total of 300. I was of course grateful it was a simple fix. But after my shock of the huge charge to do this simple flip of a switch I called around and spoke to some other businesses and was told that to do what I had done should of only cost about 80 dollars for there time and gas since it was so simple to fix. And that they as the repairman have to sleep at night and what happened to me was very wrong. I won't be using precision pump again or will anyone I know. Feel taken advantage of. John made sure with several trips out to make sure our new pump worked to the best of it's ability considering the limited availability of water on this property considering the bad Juju here.Even going so far as to purchase water to fill our storage tank to give us a good head start, and guaranteeing the pump for 5 years. So much better service than Earls! read more

if I could give this company a zero i would. this company is quick to take your money but did nothing for the 200 they charge to inspect. No solutions no explanations why no water. Terrible service and will never recommend or refer. Their website has a list of things they do, well beware, you call them on it and they say we did an inspection when they basically did nothing and explained nothing. They are quick to take your money for doing nothing!!! read more

Precision Pump - Precision pump crew fixing my well on a Sunday!! The best there is in the Butte, Yuba, Sutter area!! - Well Drilling Near Me - Oroville, California

Our well pump was not shutting off causing incredible pressure buildup which caused the pressure relief valve on the hot water heater to open and we came home to water gushing out the garage (our first clue there was a problem). Left a message for Precision Pump in the morning, and the owner called back within five minutes. He had a worker here in the afternoon who fixed the problem (pressure switch/gauge) within an hour. We have been loyal to another company for years, but they were not going to be able to provide service for another 12 days. We are very pleased with the promptness and service of Precision Pump. read more

John at precision pump went above and beyond when installing my well pump. Him and his crew were professional and expedient. I had a solar pump installed on a deep well and he installed the solar on mounts that he fabricated himself. He only uses the best parts and pumps. The price is very competitive for anything comparable. It looks very clean. I am very satisfied with and would highly recommend Precision Pump. He even followed up a month after installation to make sure everything was working as intended. read more

Excellent company. Thank god we called them. My well pump was not keeping pressure and I thought I was going to need to buy a new pump. They were very prompt and came to my home the same day I called. Mikah and John were very professional and knowledgeable about wells. They were able to troubleshoot the pressure problem and electrical. They didn't charge for there travel time and the saved me a lot of money. My old well pump works even better than before and it was less than $200. They were very honest and I would definitely recommend them. Thanks Precision Pump. They are GOOD GUYS. read more

They installed a 5000 storage unit in an area known for water issues. They opened our well full boar and filled the unit.We started having water issues. After numerous attempts to come fix they said our well was dry..sorry charlie..nothing they could do. They refereed Tim Bessinger who confirmed we needed a $40,000 new well drilled. THANK GOD i contacted a well person in the area and found out we DID NOT need a new well and that all the repairs Precision made to fix the problem and their original install was wrong and had numerous code violations. Its bad enough that their work was incompetent but thinking how we almost spent 40,000 FOR NOTHING really burns me. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! BEWARE. read more

I have worked with precision pump for over 6 years now. They are outstanding. I maintain properties for a living all over northern california and I can attest to their honest and hard work. Over the last 6 years they have drilled over 7 wells for us, installed 3 storage tanks and fought countless battles with the county on our behalf (the county always makes things difficult). I highly recommend Precision Pump and in fact they are the only well company we use for inspections. read more

I installed a new pressure tank and pressure switch today. When I tried to wire up my new pressure switch I was having great difficulty and it was getting late in the day about 6 p.m.. Keeping in mind all the rebuilding that is going on after the Camp Fire, Precision (John and his crew) showed up and got the job done fast and professionally. The terrain they had to go through to get to my well would have scared most off or a least caused them to search for another way of removing the 300' of galvanized pipe out of my well. After chainsawing everything that needed to be removed to get the boom in place, not to mention the tight spaces he had to maneuver his truck, we had running water in approx 2 1/2 hours. John and his crew will no longer have to drive their truck "off road" as poly pipe was installed, making for quick and easy fixes from this point forward. Hopefully none will be needed. read more

My well pump went out Friday night and they came on Saturday to fix it for us. The guy they sent out was a stand up guy. He quickly troubleshot that my control box was bad, had it replaced and water flowing within 30 minutes of arriving. I highly recommend them if you are in a pinch! read more

We are in the process of selling our house in Chico that has a deep well (over 500 ft). Precision Pump came out to do the inspection and test our pump. When the tech got there our storage tank was full so he had to remove the float to get the pump to turn. It ran for about 4 minutes and that shut off which the pump is designed to do so it will not burn out. The tech informed the buyers we were out of water. I contacted the owner, John to explain how our pump worked and first he claimed he was the person who did the inspection. I explained to him that our pump was on timer and it was designed to turn off and would not come back on for an hour. He told me he know what he was doing and had dealing with pumps for 30 years and seemed only concerned about payment for the inspection. He called me back in about 10 minutes and told me that his tech had bypassed the pump. So he was not the person doing the inspection. When we got home the tech had left the cover to the storage tank open and had reinstalled the float almost causing our storage tank to overflow. The tech also left his lunch trash at our well for us to dispose of. We got a different company to inspect our well and everything was fine. read more
