I recently had an unexpected car issue and was referred to this shop. We all get nervous dealing with mechanics and let me just say this was surprisingly the best experience I ever had with a shop. The two gentlemen I engaged with (Harvey and Matt) were both so kind and best of all they were HONEST. I received a very high estimate at a different shop, and these guys at Precision Auto found that it was a very simple fix and charged me a small fraction. Like I said, they were honest and trustworthy, which to me is essential. Now this is not a pristine looking shop that has food and drinks for customers; it is a pure blue collar shop that charges a fair price and will not take advantage of new or existing customers (I met several while I was waiting and they love this shop). Therefore, I am providing a 5-star review and will definitely return fir ongoing maintenance and emergency repairs. I highly recommend to friends and family. read more

Gotten taken advantage of with my transmission flush in 2020 when they used the wrong transmission fluid and my water pump/serpentine belt in 2024 which was I'm assuming bad/poor quality parts due to short life span. Had to replace both in the last few months and got charged way over the average cost for parts and labor. Ex: transmission flush in 2020 by Precision Motorsports I was charged $560, while last month in 2025 I was changed $430 at my new shop for the same flush with the correct fluid for my vehicle. Never felt so ripped off in my life. Do better. read more

The Service: The owner, Harvey, is the man! He is very down to earth & always keeping his promise. He never up sale me any service that I don't really need. One of the mechanic, Matt, is like a magician. He is very knowledgeable & gets the work done beautifully. The Work: I have been there twice already. First time, instead of getting a new part, they help me to "rebuild" it so definitely save me money! Also, they knew I really needed my car so they tried their best to fix it on the same day! Second time, my engine light was on. Harvey helped me to diagnosis the problem with his machine... within a minute, he found the problem AND fix it right away! Unbelievable~ He definitely save my day! I will never go to any other mechanic anymore because I have faith & trust in their service! They are absolutely the honest & most hard working people I have ever encountered. read more

Excellent customer service! The staff is professional, efficient, and always quick to help. I truly recommend this place!

I've known Harvey for a couple years now and I can hands down say he is the most honest, hard working, and down to earth mechanic in ALL of Burbank!!! I took my '04 Celica in because of transmission problems, and Harvey tried to diagnose every other option starting with the cheapest fixes, and once we were certain it was the transmission, he gave me a no b.s. lay down on the cost of the parts and labor. I finally picked up my car the other day and I can honestly say I've never felt her drive this good! This manual tranny shifts like butter and the ride is solid. I recommend this place to everyone I come across in need of a shop! A big shout out to Harvey and his brother Matt and all the great mechanics down at Precision Motorsports!! read more

This is the best place car shop I have been to extremely a long time. True honesty is top-tier. I had my water pump lower radiator hose and radiator replacement on my GTI. The best mechanic Matt hands down knows cars like an encyclopedia. How knows how to work superbly on my GTI VW. The owner Harvey awesome dude and is extremely honest and very knowledgeable just like Matt. Their years of dedication speak volumes Matt has been working in the car industry since 2007. Harvey is over 25 plus years old. read more

Love love love this place! Harvey is amazing! He's one of the rare mechanics actually trying to help and provide info/insight where he can. The price was comparable to other places, sometimes lower depending on what service is needed. Highly recommend coming here for any service. read more

Just a flat out thief- totally unqualified, unethical, false promise, horrible work, hack- cost me 20g worth of 911 C4S- no accountability for a horrible rebuild after months of waiting on the car. Go elsewhere. I'm not done with this guy yet. read more

100% trustworthy. Good prices. Honest mechanic. (Had to repeat!!) They will review any issues & show you frankly what's wrong. This is a hole-in-the-wall place with a basic office, honest analysis, and absolutely * excellent * workmanship. They also actually care to give you the best deal. MY STORY -- My dealership said I needed new breaks in 2019. SO -- strapped for cash I held off the breaks and instead took my car for a Smog Check in PRECISION MOTORSPORTS' neighboring Smog Check pad, mentioned it to MOTORSPORTS Aramik "Ari" Davitian, and he pointed out that they're fine.. !!!! He even showed me how to look at the breaks. !!!!! Now I not only know how to check my breaks, but I saved loads that year. 1 year later DEC 23, 2020 in our pandemic times I finally took my 2007 HONDA CR-V in for breaks to be replaced --- not to the dealership, but to Mr. Davitian and team at PRECISION MOTORSPORTS. All because of his honesty. The monster cars they're working on in this itty bitty lot were huge, gorgeous pieces of machinery... Phenomenal..!!!! And their kindness for even financially struggling needs that drove in during the short time I was there for my break change -- moving. My new breaks were excellently priced. They showed me the old ones. And now I've been driving my car a month before this review ... the breaks just feel sooo smooth.... heavenly. Well priced and heavenly. Had to write this review. read more

Can't say enough good things about Harvey at Precision Motorsports, guy is straightforward, honest and trustworthy. I would echo the other positive reviews here, and also warn readers to be careful about the negative reviews on any business because a lot of times they are coming from competitors, or in the case of auto shops, people who simply don't understand how cars even function and blame a mechanic for a problem that has nothing to do with the work that was performed at the shop they are reviewing. I've been going to this place for years, and they have always bent over backwards to help me out. The level of personal service you get here is unmatched by any other independent shop I've used. I'm not going to sugarcoat this review, they have not always been perfect, but I have only had minor complaints at best, and if I do, Harvey addresses them and corrects any issue without complaint. I would not hesitate to take your car here if you are tired of paying through the nose for dealer service. If you are clear about what you want and what to expect from this kind of a shop, you will not be disappointed. Always, always be up front with a mechanic about what you expect from a shop, because mechanics are not mind readers! For example if you only want factory parts, or you want detailed invoices, tell them first so they know what you want. Different customers expect different levels of service, if you go into an independent repair shop expecting exactly the same kind of service you get at a dealer, you are setting yourself up for disappointment. read more

My car was dying. Precision Motorsports restored him to GREATNESS !!! I recommend this shop to anyone who needs motor work. The best automotive experience I have EVER had. I will be a customer for life. Thank you, Precision Motorsports for your help !!! read more

I was referred to Precision Motorsports by the place I use for oil changes. They found a possible problem with my car and recommended I have a mechanic look at it. I called Precision Motorsports and made an appointment. After giving my car a look-see, Harvey told me there was nothing wrong with it. He could have made up something and charged me but he didn't. He explained to me some things about my particular make of car but assured me there was no problem. I left relieved I had given Precision Motorsports a try. The next time when I had an issue with my brakes I didn't consider any other place but Precision Motorsports. Harvey remembered me. He took care of my brakes and also assisted me in finding a set of new tires. I highly recommend Precision Motorsports. Now, I'll probably never get in again because once the word gets out--he'll be on a long waiting list. read more

My family and I have been bringing our vehicles to Precision Motorsports for years. We've brought in several vehicles makes such as Mercedes, Porsche, Chevy, Honda, Toyota, Jetta and Ford. His pricing is very fair and he's quick in having your repairs and/or service done to get you back in your vehicle. He also has a smog service and can refer you to his contacts for anything you may need that he can't do. He's referred us elsewhere for body work and wheels. All of his contacts were friendly, trustworthy and priced fairly. Those of you looking for a good mechanic, but worried about who you can trust, look no further. Tell Harmik that you were referred by Prince. read more

As someone with a varying schedule it's often difficult to predict when I'll have a free day to take care of things like car maintenance; the worry always being that it will continue to be put on the back burner until a larger issue arises. I recently needed to get the car belt replaced on my 2008 Prius, a relatively simple job in the grand scheme of things. Thinking it would be impossible to make a same day appointment, we called in and were surprised get a appointment the same day. A quick back and forth to Costco to keep ourselves busy and we got a message saying the car was ready. The job was completed to perfection in just over an hour. Very appreciative. The owner was affable and kind. Thank you! read more

It's been years and I'm still going to Precision for all my car needs, so of course when my car wouldn't start in a Rite Aid parking lot on a 100 degree day in a pandemic, I had it jumped and went straight to Harvey. He had a new battery in and my oil changed in under an hour (I was VERY overdue on that front, whoops), and I got back to work before my lunch break was over! I'm still so thankful that I found this shop with these wonderful people, because I know they're looking out for me. read more

THIS PLACE IS GREAT! Harvey and his team are MASTER technicians! I have an Escalade and after being referred by a mechanic at an Orange County Valvoline I could not be more pleased. My sisters and I were vacationing in Burbank from Ohio and Oklahoma and on are last day in Burbank the charging system light came on so we went to AutoZone and they recommended Precision Motorsports . They pulled a code showing alternator was malfunctioning so they set us up the following morning to replace and Matt replaced and got us back on the road to our next destination of Las Vegas and even drove all the way back to Ohio without any hiccups! Thank You Matt !!! Highly recommend. read more

Definitely giving this place a 5 star. I have been going to Harvey's for at least 5 years now, since my wife introduced me to him. The whole family goes to him now. Very personable mechanic. Very straightforward. He always gives me all my options for fixing my truck. Sometimes I choose the cheaper one, sometimes I choose the more proper long term solution. I think his price is reasonable. His hours are convenient. I've already recommended him to my family and I highly recommend him to anyone read more

I am sorry to say thay I can no longer recommend this facility for any type of car repair. That's all I am going to say about it. I just need to find somewhere new. *************OLD REVIEW***************** Amazingly, I'm just not in the mood to be wordy. Harmick (or Harvey, if you are anything but Armenian) is one of the coolest, fairest, non greedy, people I have ever met and I have NEVER met a guy who does a better job fixing cars. You might be alarmed at the looks of his garage. Just trust him. Seriously. If you're not happy with the way you are treated I will make it up to you- maybe buy you a waffle maker. Or something. read more

I was so screwed. And not in a way I'd prefer. I left Ventura for San Diego with a weird squeak sound in my front-right area of my car; by the time I got to LA, the sound was freaking horrible. I thought it was my breaks, but after further investigation discovered it was my CV boot. I was referred to Harmec (Harvey) and Precision Motorsports by Patrick at BMA Importers. Harmec took me in on a Saturday and TOTALLY hooked me up. He gave me the price estimate-- "That's a pretty good deal," I said. "I know it's a good deal!" He replied. Harmec treated me like a friend. He was fair, he told me exactly what was wrong with the car and gave me my options at extremely reasonable prices. I had no idea this man and his auto shop existed before that day, and I'm so glad I was referred... I'm pretty sure I would have paid a few hundred bucks more if I had gone anywhere else. You rock, Harvey/Harmec. :) read more

I have been there twice now and I believe I will always go there no matter where I live or what car I drive. I am extremely happy with the service I have received there. Harvey, the owner is a straight shooter and very friendly. He gets right down to business with what is wrong and then tells you what it takes to fix it and how quickly it will be done. I am not car savvy and don't understand parts and terms. He takes the time to explain and show me what the problem is, which I have never experienced with a mechanic. Very reasonably priced and excellent service! 5 stars with no hesitation. read more

Harvey ROCKS! He is the best. The most honest, trustworthy mechanic I have ever had. I found him becaue he saved my friend from replacing an engine. Another mechanic had told him it was shot and would cost him $1500 to fix. Harvey said, "what do you mean, it's this $50 part right here." Now, that's honest! I've been going to him for 9 years and he has never lead me wrong. I made the mistake this month of thinking that another mechanic should change the struts on my car. It was a little bit cheaper (cheaper parts), and when they asked for cash, I should have taken a clue. The other mechanic (Sunset Auto) broke a strut, fixed it with vice grips and had me drive off that way! Risking my life of puncturing a tire and getting into an accident! Harvey would never do that. Go to Harvey, he will never steer you wrong :) read more

This garage is THE BEST! Took my precious Prius (@ 90K miles) there today after my best friend suggested I compare $$ on the new water pump it needed. (Toyota quoted me nearly $600. ) Harmec (Harvey), the owner, showed me the cost of a factory pump - $80! He said the total should come in under $300. The car was ready early and I rolled out of there a happy camper for $288. including the new belt and coolant. Efficient, knowledgable and fair. I'll be back and I'm telling all of my friends. This is by far the most professional and best place to take my Mercedes. Matthew and Harvey go above and beyond every time I bring my car in. When they need to do work they always call and update me. They also when they can let me use their lender car. They are so reasonably priced. They always check my air pressure, oil my windshield wiper fluid. I have a 2004 Mercedes and it is still in tiptop running condition because of the gentlemen at Precision Motorsports. I will never take my car anywhere else I wouldn't trust anyone else in town. Harvey from Precision Motorsports installed my Accel Coil Packs on my 2001 Expedition. Great Job for a reasonable price. If you have a Ford Truck that has coil packs and it has over 100K miles and the coil packs start going bad... Here is a GREAT TIP: REPLACE THEM ALL at one time. Not one at a time... I got all 8 high performance coil packs from Amazon.com for $180. Individually they cost more than $50 each and another $50 installation. Get them done all at once and save $$$$.
