I had my first set of mink lashes done by Caroline! I was so nervous at first thinking my eyes were going to get glue shut! But Caroline carefully took her time, and assured me everything would be fine! Nevertheless, the outcome was more than I expected and I love it so much! Now I can hardly imagine my life without these fabulous lashes ;(! It's well worth the money compared to some other lash studios, whom often charge more! I will be back!

I've had mine done since the advent of lash extensions more than a decade ago so I've gotten to know a lot about it. Most importantly, I've gotten to know who is a competent lash tech/artist and who's not because their skill is directly reflected on my face. I had mine done by Thalia here at this establishment. [I normally go to a different lash salon (Alyssa's Eyelash) but I had to get it done last minute so]. The PROBLEM at the outset with THALIA is her LACK of communication/assessment of what the client needs or wants for her lashes. She didn't talk much nor smile ( but it's perfectly fine with me). But at least ask what my target or goal shape would be before pouring the extensions on my eyeballs. If she talked it was kinda condescending, so it made it hard to communicate what you wanted for lash She exudes the bad vice as if she had her doctorate degree in lash Ext. placement; therefore, you or no one questions her). As a result, when she had my eyes open at the end, I was unsatisfied with the shape- I wanted more of a cat-eye shape. So, she re-taped my eyes shut and added a few long, pubic- hair like curly lash at the outer canthus. So, now I have a curly lash at the outer end of my eyeballs that look like public hair as they curl and come up touching my eyelids?! (See photos) MORAL OF THE STORY: I WOULD NEVER GET MY LASH DONE AGAIN BY THALIA.

Today I got a full set of lashes , synthetic natural/ cat eye and I love them!!! Vivian did a great job and took her time. My visit lasted the whole 2 hours. Last time I got lashes (at another place) my eyes were blood shot immediately and my lady only took 15 minutes to do individual lashes! Crazy. Vivian took her time and although my eyes were a tad bit irritated during the lash application it didn't last long and when she was done they felt fine. I also love that they have sensitive glue just in case or for my future appointments. All in all the Salon is super cute! Vivian was awesome and most importantly I love my lashes. Will definitely be going back in two weeks for a fill.

I NEVER leave this place without looking SOOO fab at SUCH amazingly low and affordable prices! There isn't any other salon who offers work with this kind of quality at this price ALWAYS getting compliments everywhere I go . The interior of this salon is TOO beautiful and the staff is extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I've had a number of the lash artists work on me, but the only one who really sticks out is Danielle (she's who I have my appointment for fills with later). I was planning to get my classics I got last week upgraded to volumes on Monday, but a friend of mine raaaaaved about how great Danielle is so I rescheduled and pushed to have my appointment 5 days later just so I could be seen by her. Anyways, I'll DEFINITELY update this review AFTER I come back from my appointment later with more pictures (; *UPDATE* So who I THOUGHT was Danielle.. wasn't Danielle? Haha either way the real Danielle was SUPER sweet and did SUCH an amazing job. I could continue to rave about her, but I'll just post pictures to prove it (:

Got my first set of eyelashes here. I walked in checked in with receptionist like normal. I was surprised at how pretty the decor was. The tech I worked with was knowledge and answered all my questions. It took about 2 hours since it was my first time. (Plenty of time to sleep.) Initially I loved my lashes! I was batting my eyes all night. Lol but 6 days later I'm an somewhat unhappy with them. One eye is still full of lashes and the other is somewhat empty. I'm kind of disappointed in my results, since I was under the impression that they should last 2 weeks. I willing to bet these won't last that long. Overall, these lashes were great for the party I had the day I got them, but I can't imagine consistently having them. I would only come back to this place due to the nice employees and the nice price.

I got my eyelashes permed May 4 and the technician did them too curly for my taste, so I called and booked another appointment to have them relaxed. It has now been over a month and my eyelashes are still too curled, the lashes closer to my tear ducks are basically stuck to my eyelids. They get tangled and messy after I wash and dry them. The only way I think they look normal is when I wet them, it weighs them down I guess. I also apply mascara to thto try to weigh them more but when they dry they still look too close to my eyelid. Personally I will not do them again. I paid for something I thought would look nice based on other reviews and pictures, but truthfully I'm not at all happy with how they look.

I wasnt sure if getting my eyelashes done was a good idea or would even be worth the drive ( I live In Riverside ) but I am glad I did it because my lashes look great!! I have never been able to put falsies on myself so if you struggle with the same problem you should take this place into consideration even for those who don't struggle I love the idea of having beautiful lashes at all times . I will definitely be returning! Jacqueline did a great job! She was nice and she still took me in even me being a little late to my appointment , since it was my first time she did warn me I had already gone into my 2 hours so she'd try her best to do as much possible , which I understand it was totally my fault , She made sure what I wanted before she got started and I Love how my lashes look! I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had never had lash extensions before, but had always loved how they looked! Amanda was so patient and helpful when explaining the process of placing the lashes, as well as helping me choose which length/style I wanted. I wear glasses and generally get up very early for work, so I wanted a more natural-looking, shorter set. I was a little nervous at first, but when she gave me the mirror at the end of my session to look at them I was amazed! They were so beautiful! Came out absolutely perfect and honestly, better than I had imagined in my head. The environment in the studio is also very peaceful and relaxing, and everything is very clean and tidy. I will definitely be coming back for a very long time. Thank you!

I decided to come here from a recommendation from my mother because she knows the owner Melissa and tells me how amazing she is when it comes to cut and color. (Determined from Facebook) So I decided to book an appointment to change up my hair color (add highlights) for my birthday. During my appointment, the girl who did my hair wasn't even the owner my mom told me to get my hair done by. It was her blonde assistant so I was reluctant. But anyways, I showed her a photo from Pinterest of what I would like to be done. The owner comes over and says that the estimate will be $230. What?! Not even for a cut or a full head dye. JUST HIGHLIGHTS. I was upset with the price but didn't back out now because I was already there and hoped the results will be worth the price. So an hour and a half later, it was time to take out the foils in my hair to wash. As the girl was taking out the foils she had a weird look on her face and calls over the owner to tell her, "her roots went lighter then the rest of her hair what do I do? So the owner told her to just darken them. After the wash she asked if I wanted to cut my ends because it was so dead. Of course I asked how much first because the highlights were so expensive already. She told me it will be an extra $35 I said NOPE. And she told me "well the next time you go to a salon I recommend you to cut your ends because 2 inches of it are dead." On that note, after the blow dry it was time for me to pay. I gave her 15% tip with the $230 because it's always nice to tip and she was nice although she made it seem like she was still a student working on my hair. Let me tell you this uncertainty makes me uncomfortable. Especially when I'm paying a high price. It ended up okay. The highlights were unnoticeable and random. Not like the photo I wanted. That following week I've seen a lot of my coworkers getting their hairs done too and I felt their hair looked so much better than mine! I asked how much did they pay and my friend with the bright red ombré said "$130" and my other friend who went from brunette to BLONDE said she only paid "$100". Wow. Makes me even more disappointed. I won't come back here again for hair. I will for eyelashes though because they're the closest place I know so far that offers Novalash but that's about it.

This review is for the KERATIN, Cut, and Hair Color services I received from Melissa. She did an amazing job with my long hair for a very decent price! My hair is straight and smooth I dont even have to iron it or put hair products on it! I'll post a pic (: lovin my haircolor too! Melissa is a wonderful person who cares about the happiness and satisfaction of her customers more than makin money. She stayed with me until 8pm to fo finish my hair eventhough she had a huge event the next day! I came here yesterday to get my eyelash extensions done. To sum it up... I LOVE THIS PLACE. I have had many bad experiences at other eyelashes places but this place makes me feel like anyone can get them done. It took me a while to schedule the appointment because it was booked and full on the schedule but when I called to schedule Ashley picked up and she kept me updated in what days were free throughout the week! After I went in I filled out some paperwork and I sat with my lash technician makena! She was amazing and informative. I told her that my eyes are really sensitive and I don't really want heavy lashes but lashes with volume. Because I also have monolids I was very concerned that my eyelids would push the lash extensions. I initially came for the volume .7 lash but she recommended the .5 volume lashes with D curls to curl around my monologue with an open eye shape to open up my small eyes! She told me that 1-5 of my lashes will shed a day and that's normal. She left a little room from my real lashes to the extensions so it wouldn't irritate my lash line. I can't even feel then. I payed either $160 or $180 I'm not sure I forgot. Love the results! She was very experienced. Although I think I might get the squirrel shape next time :) I'll write an updated in 2 weeks! Update: so the lashes fell and I blame mostly myself. This was my first time getting bomb lash extensions but I didn't really know how to care for them. My eyelids are a bit oily and I was messing with them so I expected this to happen. The eye that I didn't really mess with was fine so it's not the tech or studios fault just my failure to care for them. I still love this place and will come for a touch up soon. If you take care of them, they will last! They look like classic lashes now because I messed them up but still beautiful

Let me start by saying that I have been looking for a stylist for almost two years now. Prior to my appointment , I felt that my hair looked all right but it definitely needed something to bring the life back to it. After searching relentlessly, I found Melissa at Proverbs 31 on Yelp. On the day of my appointment, I went to Melissa's shop a couple minutes early to check things out. I was very happy and relieved to see how beautiful Proverbs 31 is. The shop is beautifully decorated, very organized, and clean. So the services I received on this day were the Keratin treatment, cut, hair color, and Novalash extensions. Overall, I am extremely happy with all the services that Melissa provided and I am especially happy that I found someone who is honest, trustworthy, and talented. It is obvious that Melissa loves what she does. She is meticulous and strives to make her customers 100% happy. Since my appointment, I have received multiple compliments on my hair and eyelashes. Everyone tells me that my hair is so shiny and that my eyelashes look very natural. My niece could not believe I had extensions on because there was no sign of glue or anything. The compliments I have received reinforce my belief that Melissa is amazing at what she does. Thanks Melissa!!

I have long straight eyelashes. I have spent years and money on the best eyelash curler to the best mascara. I just did a perm on my lashes and couldn't be more happier than ever. Angelica was very sweet and walked me through the process. I am definitely gonna keep up with this. I finally have curled long lashes. read more

I called on a Saturday to book an appointment and ask a few questions about hair extensions and the deals they are offering this month. Girl who answered the phone couldn't answer 1 question that I asked, told me the owner needed to call me and explain things to me. Left my number, it's been a week and no call back. I don't like begging for your business especially when I'm about to spend hundreds at your location. Just a pet peeve of mine. read more

I have tried many eyelash places and this is honestly the best place. I say this because the lashes last so long and you don't get fall out. The place is also beautiful and I don't go to any particular lash girl but all the girls that have done mine have been very nice. I had my appointment on January 20 with Jessica. So I'm going on two weeks with my lash extensions and I couldn't be happier it definitely shows the quality of Lashes that they use. My set still looks fresh and full. Jessica is so sweet she made me feel so comfortable it being my first time ever getting eyelash extensions. She had asked what it was I was looking for or what look I wanted to achieve, I briefly told her how I love "KOKO" lashes and how some of their styles are wispy natural looking. She immediately knew what I wanted and let's just say she delivered!!! The studio was amazing the staff is extremely nice. I can't wait to go back and get my fill. They have definitely gained a new loyal customer. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in eyelash extensions. read more

I loved my lashes I got here at Proverbs 31, love the communication when booking an appointment, reminders for next appointment, reschedule the appointment, who you WANT to work ON YOUR lashes great service always on Point. The only lil troubles I had was Finding the prefect girl that made me feel comfortable working on me, so In every visit I tried different girl I was like in a hunt. The only reason I stop coming was because the glue started effecting my eyes so bad when ever I got watery eyes it made my eyes burn/sting/cry and it took a while to make it stop. Was this normal????? Anyways love the decor really beautiful it makes you wanna go back again every time your there but in my situation I would love to find the solution to my problem. read more

Absolutely love this salon! Always wanted to have long lashes and wanted to commit to extensions but never took the to just do it! So happy I chose proverbs 31 hair and eyelash studio to apply my first set! I was scheduled with Christalyn who is new to the salon but you wouldn't know it with how great of a job she did! This salon took me in on a same day walk in to fix/add to my previous lash job that I had just had from a different person the day before. It was so important to me and they took the time to understand and take me right away to fix/add to my lashes. Very good customer service! Nice girls as well, I'll be returning for sure! read more

Came by to give lashes a second chance and I was blown away. Let's start off by the sweet receptionist who answers all and any question you may have. Location is cute and very clean. Carrie asked the right questions to know what it is that I was looking for and boy did she deliver. My sister and I plan on going back from here on out. If you follow their easy steps, your lashes will last a long time. Also, they look so natural. read more

This was the first time getting eyelashes for me. I went in not knowing what to expect. I knew the appointment would take anywhere from 2 and a half hours to 3 hours. As I walked it, I was greeted by Gabriel and asked to fill out a form, after my esthetician - Christalyn was already waiting for me. I loved that there was no waiting for my appointment at all. The place was amazing, the decor and glam style make the place feel and look so high end, love it. Chistalyn was amazing. She kept checking in with me, asking if everything felt ok and if I felt any discomfort at all. She was super nice and professional. She made my lashes look amazing. I get people that tell me my lashes look natural they thought they were actually my own lashes, which is why they ask me where I got them and I refer them here. read more

This place is amazing! I came as a lash novice for the first time last night and it did not disappoint. I arrived around 3pm for my 3:30 appointment. I was greeted by a very sweet receptionist and given a waiver for to fill out (are you allergic to latex and all those legal formalities). After I was finished, she showed me to the restroom (trust me, you'll want to go without glue all over your eyes). When I came back, Thalia, my last artist introduced herself and took me over to her table. They have cute little baskets to put all of your things in. They ask that you silence your cell phone because they don't want you to have to get up at all while they are working. I showed her a picture of the type of lashes I was thinking of getting and she said they would be a perfect for me. She got to work. Had it not been for Thalia, I would have been bored out of my mind. I was there for about 3 hours and she kept me engaged in conversation so that I would be entertained (maybe it was to keep me from falling asleep ). When I first looked in the mirror afterwards, I was shocked. My blonde, almost translucent lashes had been replaced with these beautiful, long, black extensions. I loved them! Don't get me wrong, I wasn't just absolutely in love the second I looked at them. They are so different from my normal lashes that I thought I had made a mistake! It just took a little getting used to seeing them in the mirror and it not being weird that my eyes looked completely different. I love them so much! I definitely recommend Proverbs 31 and I definitely recommend Thalia! read more

I had a fill done about a week ago with Amanda. Wow! What an excellent job she did. A week later and my lashes still looks beautiful and they look as if I just had them done!! Amanda is so kind and has such a soft touch. She took the time to show me how to keep my lashes clean and recommended that I purchase "Lash Bath" which I did. I really like the product which is a very gentle cleanser just perfect to use around your eyes. Amanda is very professional, knowledgeable and it really shows how much she enjoys what she does! Super disappointed in customer service by this salon. Had an appointment that they had to change last minute due to Gabriella no longer being at the salon- which is understandable, things happen. Zelenia ended up doing my lashes, she was nice and welcoming but unfortunately I wasn't as happy with my extensions as I usually am... the first day I lost about 7-8 lashes per eye and they just didn't look fluffy and voluminous. At this point I feel like I know how to take care of my lashes and didn't do anything differently from any other time I got them done(had mine for about 7-8 months now) I tried to find out if I can make an appointment with any other ladies I have gotten eyelashes with before that did a good job, but none of them are there anymore. I am talking like 6-7 lash artists are just suddenly no longer there, not even listed on their varago appointment page. The worst part of all is that the salon moved locations and did not send a notification about where or when. I mean they call to cancel an appointment but can't text/call to inform a long time customer of an address change? Anyways, the whole situation just seems odd to me, I cancelled the rest of my appointments and will not be coming back. read more

Had the best experience here. Ask for Amanda Paschke she is the best! I have gotten extensions many times before and always have a lot of eye irritation. I just assumed I had really sensitive eyes and it was all part of the process. Amanda was very knowledgeable and started our session with a consultation explaining eye shape and what lash length and style would be complementary to me, as well as gaining an idea of what I was hoping to achieve. When my eyes began to water like they do every time I get extensions she stopped the process, added medical tape to my lash line, and reapplied my eye pads. Immediately the watering stopped and I was comfortable for the remainder of my appointment. She did such a beautiful job. Got a text same week as my appointment saying Josie resigned then next day a reminder text for my appointment with Josie. I called and they said she just resigned and automatic machine sent reminder that I should schedule an appointment with someone else. I told them I'd call back after looking to see pictures on here to see example of work done. Then on way back from appointment I was just going to run in to look into all this because since I had to miss my appointment last week I'm way over do, but upon getting out of car to do this I see a sign that says they moved. Most places would let their clients know at least through text if not over phone when wanted me to make another appointment. This is way overdue but I got my volume lashes done by Gina and she was amazing. They lasted through swimming & snorkeling in Mexico - I got SO many compliments. I wish she were closer but it's just too far for me to drive regularly, as I can only come on Saturdays. I highly recommend her, though. Proverbs is also very clean, cute and quiet. read more

I have been going to proverbs for about 6 months now. I see Gina. She is a master lash and hair stylist and that's exactly right. She is amazing. I always go in wanting a different look and within 1 min of me explaining, she's says ok let's do it and she nails it every time. I also had her do my extensions. 21" and she managed to layer my hair from my ears down beautifully. As women we all know how hard it is to find someone to beautify us to our expectations and this place never fails. Gina is the only girl I go to but I have a few friends who see some of the other girls and they love the work every time. Ladies. This is the one stop shop. Ask for gina. She is AMAZING!!! I came in because of their reviews on here and was very impressed. I had my eyelash extensions put in and legs waxed by Aloha. She did such an awesome job and will definitely be back for my fills. Now on to the waxing. Now I have never had ANYTHING waxed due to being terrified of any pain but my co workers recommended I get my legs waxed. Wow! I barely felt a thing. I came in about 2 weeks ago for a full set of lashes. This was my first time ever having them. When I first got there I was very pleased with the place and staff. It was very clean, organized and they were all friendly. Amanda was the one who did my lashes, she was very polite and professional. She gave me a quick consultation and instructions on what it was like and what we were going to use. I was excited to get started. I felt welcomed and very comfortable as we started. We talked and had a wonderful conversation. I also took a nap, the whole process was about 3 hours. I didn't mind because I knew what I was expecting. When we finished I was so very pleased with the outcome, I actually had lashes that looked like my own!!! She walked me through the after care instructions and I also purchased yours guys lash cleaner that's works great!! I waited a week to post this because I wanted to see how they would look before a fill and believe it or not they still look just as good as the did when I got them. Of course they shed a few lashes but it all looks so natural still. I can't wait to go back. I think I'm hooked on lash extensions now. I don't need to buy no more strip lashes!!! My eyelash tech Idannia came out to meet me in the reception area. This was my first time getting individual extensions. I'd studied up and researched "everything" on individuals for months before I even made an appointment, but what was wonderful was she asked me about what I wanted and from start to finish advised and informed me about the extensions and different looks offered. Before getting started she offered me a blanket and perfectly balanced chatting with me AND letting me lay there and relax. She made sure my eyelashes were perfect! Loved her! I love my eyelash extensions! I previously went to another place and got supposibly eyelash extensions, but they were actually clusters which ripped my lashes all out!!!! Proverbs was the first place I ever went to to have my lash extensions done and I'm glad that I did! I've been to Proverbs when it was across the street from the location they're at now and I'm glad to see that they've expanded. They have multiple beds for everyone who gets their lashes done and played cool 90's music when I was there. I've had Novalashes once before and I loved how they came out! My lashes lasted through the holidays before they started looking a bit scarce, but hey! no fills in between? It worked for me since the holidays left my pockets a bit empty. Melissa is the Best! Not only is she is the best at what she does but she is extremely intelligent and very thorough. Don't go anywhere else. She can Camouflage scars and even magically erase stretch marks! I had a ton of stretch marks on my thighs and my butt and she used a Inkless serum that completely erased them. I can't wait for summer to show off my new buns. I would post a picture on my wife would get mad. Just trust me it's amazing. read more

My new SISTER MELISSA is Amazing. I just recently got my hair colored,cut as well as my makeup for my bridal shower. She was exceptionally professional and was very knowledgeable about her gift (Hairstyling). It was my first time but definately not my last. Her studio was very clean, organized, and modern. I was excited to get lashes as I've never had them before. I went in and had Amanda do mine. Although it took longer than I had originally expected, it was nice and relaxing. When I finally saw the lashes, I was amazed at how long and full they look. I'm in love with them. I can't say enough about how great Amanda was during the entire process as well. I have been going to Proverbs for almost a year now (since they opened their new location) I continue to go to Proverbs 31 because they are very good at what they do. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing, the staff is professional and friendly. The owner Melissa is so sweet, she truly cares about her clients and she is very meticulous about her work. I came to this salon completely impressed. Thalia is very talented and artistic. In the past I had eyelash extensions. My revious extensions were no comparison to the way Thalia applies them. She completely uses her expertise to make sure they look real , frame your face and are soft and natural. I like more the natural look and she was able to give me that. First of all, I love the company name Proverbs 31 Hair & Eyelash Studio is a lovely place to get your lashes done. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with soothing music in a quiet environment. I just went to Proverbs 31 and had my eyelash extensions done. My lashes look so natural and amazing! I love them so mush!!! Melissa was so good and careful while she was doing my lashes and I am definitely going back for more. You must give these lashes a try!!!
