I have mixed feelings about my experience at Prato. I came with my mom and we sat outside. The outdoor space is really cute and has a nice ambiance/good vibe feel. I scanned the QR code to look at the menu and I had decided on a beer. Before even ordering out waiter said the menu is very outdated. I picked 2 beers that were both not available. I then asked him what was available and he mentioned Oktoberfest which was also not listed. At the end of September, it would be great to highlight that beer on the menu. I totally feel it's just bad business to not have an updated menu at all times. Of course, things run out of change quickly but it should be as accurate as possible. The oktoberfest was very good and came with a cinnamon sugar rim. BEES. oh my!! The bees were a high issue with sitting outside. Again, this isn't something they can necessarily eliminate but I feel they could spray or treat the area to avoid the bees. Even after we moved insides, the bees were still all over the bar as they have the windows open. It got to a point that my mom and I chugged the rest of our beer and left when we would have enjoyed spending more time out together. If I return I would like to try the food and maybe go during the winter when the bees won't be an issue! read more

Absolutely awful. I used to eat here all the time and it was great. It must be new ownership. The service was awful, and the food was even worse. I ordered the seafood linguini. When it was served it was ice cold. I asked for a new one and they clearly just through it in the microwave. A complete embarrassment across the board. The only good thing in this entire place was the bartender. She was nice and did a good job. Everything else was awful. Do not eat here!!! read more

Place to take out order last night . Order took about an hour . The first strike was the bartender charge me full price for happy hour drink . Manager came over and took care of that . Second strike was calamari was mushy, rubbery and not edible . Third strike was Kentucky chicken sandwich was burned to a crisp and also not edible . Have been to your restaurant a few times in the past and was always impressed and happy with everything we ordered . Visiting from the San Francisco Bay Area to see my sister she brought me here for lunch. Lots of delicious looking choices from the menu and we both ended up ordering the short rib burger and had a couple of cocktails. Nice open space not very busy because we strolled in for a late lunch around 2:00. Our server was Izzy, what a doll. Cutest smile and very attentive. So our order arrived and wow that burger was delicious and so were the fries! Neither of us could eat the whole thing so we asked for it to go. I'd go back if I were staying longer. I think I hyped this place up in my head too much that it did not meet expectations. The service was very attentive, however, I felt that the waiter was being kind of judgy about the amount of food we ordered...mind you, there was 4 of us at the table and we wanted leftovers to take home for someone who wasn't able to make it but regardless that's not his business anyway! So overall the food was subpar, nothing blew me away even tho everything on the menu sounds awesome! It's also kinda pricey to be classified as a gastropub. So we got the pretzel and drunken burrata pizza to start-huge pretzel, average size pizza, kinda bland tho, not enough sauce or prosciutto on it and a little too doughy. Then we got 2 kinds of wings-maple bacon jam and sweet chili ...neither tasted like those flavors but were still ok. My sister got the Mediterranean platter & her husband got the Kentucky hot chicken sandwich, both were satisfied & decent sized portions. My mom & I split the meatballs (which were tough) & the avocado burrata pesto...which again did not taste like those flavors but was still ok. There's other things on the menu that sound good so I will probably give it another shot, maybe in the summer since there is an outdoor patio but I wasn't overwhelmed with this place. read more

Love this place... the food, the ambiance, the staff. Oh and the drinks too! Came here last night after a long day of traveling home and ordered the sangria and my bf ordered a margarita, both delicious! The sangria is not only picturesque but tastes delicious too! We ordered the drunken burrata pizza and the calamari arrabiata which were excellent choices. The owner (or manager, not sure) is super friendly and made sure to ask us how everything was. Someone next to us dropped their leftovers as they were leaving and he offered to make a them a new plate, super generous! We will definitely be coming back here. read more

My boyfriend and I do enjoy coming here every so often. It has that busy, "loud type" atmosphere. The service is always amazing... friendly and just spot on. They seem to know when to come and when to not come, lol. Our food is usually very good. We've had the salmon and a steak dish in the past. We had Buffalo wings I thought were great (they are not breaded, which I prefer) and a Buffalo-hot that I thought was uniquely delicious. It fooled me as it was a dark type red color, lol - but it's really good. Tonight's margarita pizza was served a tad cold and had several of those big bubbles in the bread, so about 2- 3 slices had less sauce and cheese (and a dough bubble) than the first time we got that pizza, which I thought I remembered had more sauce and cheese in prior orders....may be a different person working the kitchen? I'm one of those people that sacrifices and takes the "bad pieces" , so my pizza was more bread than sauce and cheese tonight... ): Anyway -- based on our other experiences here and the impeccable service -- we will be back again. read more

Fun, good dinner with upbeat atmosphere. Food started out good with burata salad over cauliflower crust suggested by our waitress. Drinks were interesting but small! The zucchini flowers were more cheese than zucchini but tasty. The wings were our least favorite and to end the night the amazing pretzel. Just enjoyed a Valentine's Day Sunday Morning Brunch here. We went without reservation and although the hostess seated a couple (with a reservation) that came in after us; they were able to accommodate our party of 2 in a relatively quick manner. They proceeded to seat us at a hightop bar table set for 6. The bartender/waitress was extremely friendly and personable! She explained the bottomless beverage options and gave us another moment to peruse the menu whilst she grabbed our drinks for us! I; the mimosa, and husband; the beer! We ordered the thick cut bacon to start. Let me just say O-M-G! This hit all the sensory notes! First of all the portion was HUGE!! About 8oz. Worth of double thick cut bacon! It was Savory Sweet Salty umami!!!! The bacon was perfectly cooked and rendered the fat to the most delectable melt in your mouth texture! Bacon is naturally salty but it was not overdone and the maple syrup was just right! It was not gnawingly sweet as some restaurants thick cut maple bacon is! The bed of potatoes it came on was absolutely unexpected but 1000000% welcomed!!! They were fried and had a dusting of what seemed to be Parmesan cheese on them?!?! Now, I know what you're thinking, potatoes, bacon, maple syrup, Parmesan cheese?!? Whaaaaat?!?! But rest assured nay-sayers; this was pure bliss! An explosion of happiness in my mouth with each bite! For our mains I opted for the caramel apple pancakes, hubs got the Pacos! Now I can only educatedly speak to my main (hubby never offered me a bite of his!) and it was absolutely delicious! My only qualm; was it was a bit on the warm/cool side. But despite the not piping hot temperature, the flavors were perfection! (Hubs and I did take our time enjoying the thick cut bacon.....as it was, like I mentioned, HUGE, so it is possible the dishes sat for an extra moment or two before being brought over so we could finish our first course!). since the flavors were as good as they were at a cooler temperature not only was it not worth bringing to anyone's attention but it's also worth giving a five star review because I can't wait to go back and get it hot! Not to mention I damn near devoured the plate; that's how good it was!!! Hubs finished his plate so I can only imagine it was delicious; like I said, he never even offered me a bite....some Valentine's date huh? Lol!! Our waitress/bartender was the perfect amount of attentive yet space giving. She ensured of beverages were constantly full and was appropriately engaging throughout our stay! Again another five star mark there! The rest of the staff was also very engaging and personable as well! A gentleman, I'm assuming to be the manager, came over to check in about mid way through our meal to ensure everything was to our expectations! Almost every aspect of our visit and our meal were top notch and even the few very minor aspects that were not 100% were close enough, and made up for in other areas, to deserve this meal, and this restaurant a 5 star review!!! We got a variety of different food with a couple drinks, I wouldn't qualify anything as good. The pizza was lukewarm and undercooked on top; the wings weren't much warmer. That's surprising considering both are cooked in an "850 degree" oven. We got sucked into the hype of this place but it's about as good as you would think an Italian gastropub that has Taqueria Tuesday can be. As a side note... My and my wife went here based of the reviews left on google and yelp. We came with high expectation and we were starving from moving all day. The hostess was very nice and sat down right away, the decor was beautiful and is a lovely place for pictures. We weren't in the mood for drinks but we did get the food and it definitely didn't meet our expectations. We started off with wood fired wings, they recommended the Tuscan garlic parm. A subtle flavor but very crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside this was definitely the best part of our dinner and if I had to come again wings is a must. As an entree we ending up getting the wood fired Buffalo pizza and skirt steak frites. Now the pizza crust was beautifully done and I wish the topping weren't so bad. The chicken was chewy and tastes old. The "Buffalo sauce" tasted more like they dumped RedHot over the pizza. Buffalo sauce was definitely what ruined the dish sadly and the cheese didn't have the greatest taste, maybe another flavor would have been great but this one was definitely a mistake. On to the skirt steak frites. The meat was horrible quality, very fatty, and just something I wish I didn't have to pay for. I was very excited for the roasted potatoes because they looked so good, but sadly they had a sweet taste that did not go with the dish, the taste was very disappointing. The reason I gave this restaurant 3 stars was because although the dishes we got were particularly bad, the service was average no complains on the service. I'd like to think it was just the dishes we got that were bad. It was a great place for a first date in terms of decor and atmosphere. And I hope their drinks are much better, but overall the experience for us wasn't the greatest and I would not be going here again. read more

Beyond words! I threw a Surprise brunch for my boyfriend for his 30th and Nick was our server. He was BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL. He knew exactly who the special guest of honor was from the second he walked through the door and made sure he was always served. He was so attentive to all of our guests, and constantly made sure we were all having a great time. Went to Prato for a friends birthday with 12 people. We sat in the outdoor patio. It's advertised as an "enclosed and heated patio" but they refused to keep the walls down. The service was horrendous. Half the table waited over 25 minutes for their first drink. Half of the food we ordered did not come out. We were also waiting 30 minutes just for the check, we almost dined and dashed! They also sang to my friend and brought her dessert after the appetizers..... who does that. Never felt the need to write a review but last time I came I had the mushroom white pizza (not sure the name) but it was sooooo good. Probably the best pizza I ever had, and I love pizza. Definitely going to come back just for this! The only thing is that the service is a little slow pretty much every time. Figured since it's usually a weekend night and busy. Last time I went for lunch though and there was only one other table occupied, took a good 30-45 mins to get our 2 pizzas.
