Came here last night after a long day of traveling home and ordered the sangria and my bf ordered a margarita, both delicious! The sangria is not only picturesque but tastes delicious too! We ordered the drunken burrata pizza and the calamari arrabiata which were excellent choices. The owner (or manager, not sure) is super friendly and made sure to ask us how everything was. Someone next to us dropped their leftovers as they were leaving and he offered to make a them a new plate, super generous! We will definitely be coming back here. read more

I think I hyped this place up in my head too much that it did not meet expectations. The service was very attentive, however, I felt that the waiter was being kind of judgy about the amount of food we ordered...mind you, there was 4 of us at the table and we wanted leftovers to take home for someone who wasn't able to make it but regardless that's not his business anyway! So overall the food was subpar, nothing blew me away even tho everything on the menu sounds awesome! It's also kinda pricey to be classified as a gastropub. So we got the pretzel and drunken burrata pizza to start-huge pretzel, average size pizza, kinda bland tho, not enough sauce or prosciutto on it and a little too doughy. Then we got 2 kinds of wings-maple bacon jam and sweet chili ...neither tasted like those flavors but were still ok. My sister got the Mediterranean platter & her husband got the Kentucky hot chicken sandwich, both were satisfied & decent sized portions. My mom & I split the meatballs (which were tough) & the avocado burrata pesto...which again did not taste like those flavors but was still ok. There's other things on the menu that sound good so I will probably give it another shot, maybe in the summer since there is an outdoor patio but I wasn't overwhelmed with this place. read more

My boyfriend and I do enjoy coming here every so often. It has that busy, "loud type" atmosphere. The service is always amazing... friendly and just spot on. They seem to know when to come and when to not come, lol. Our food is usually very good. We've had the salmon and a steak dish in the past. We had Buffalo wings I thought were great (they are not breaded, which I prefer) and a Buffalo-hot that I thought was uniquely delicious. It fooled me as it was a dark type red color, lol - but it's really good. Tonight's margarita pizza was served a tad cold and had several of those big bubbles in the bread, so about 2- 3 slices had less sauce and cheese (and a dough bubble) than the first time we got that pizza, which I thought I remembered had more sauce and cheese in prior orders....may be a different person working the kitchen? Just enjoyed a Valentine's Day Sunday Morning Brunch here. We went without reservation and although the hostess seated a couple (with a reservation) that came in after us; they were able to accommodate our party of 2 in a relatively quick manner. They proceeded to seat us at a hightop bar table set for 6. The bartender/waitress was extremely friendly and personable! She explained the bottomless beverage options and gave us another moment to peruse the menu whilst she grabbed our drinks for us! I; the mimosa, and husband; the beer! We ordered the thick cut bacon to start. Let me just say O-M-G! This hit all the sensory notes! First of all the portion was HUGE!! About 8oz. Worth of double thick cut bacon! It was Savory Sweet Salty umami!!!! The bacon was perfectly cooked and rendered the fat to the most delectable melt in your mouth texture! Bacon is naturally salty but it was not overdone and the maple syrup was just right! It was not gnawingly sweet as some restaurants thick cut maple bacon is! The bed of potatoes it came on was absolutely unexpected but 1000000% welcomed!!! They were fried and had a dusting of what seemed to be Parmesan cheese on them?!?! Now, I know what you're thinking, potatoes, bacon, maple syrup, Parmesan cheese?!? Whaaaaat?!?! But rest assured nay-sayers; this was pure bliss! An explosion of happiness in my mouth with each bite! For our mains I opted for the caramel apple pancakes, hubs got the Pacos! Now I can only educatedly speak to my main (hubby never offered me a bite of his!) and it was absolutely delicious! My only qualm; was it was a bit on the warm/cool side. But despite the not piping hot temperature, the flavors were perfection! (Hubs and I did take our time enjoying the thick cut bacon.....as it was, like I mentioned, HUGE, so it is possible the dishes sat for an extra moment or two before being brought over so we could finish our first course!). since the flavors were as good as they were at a cooler temperature not only was it not worth bringing to anyone's attention but it's also worth giving a five star review because I can't wait to go back and get it hot! Not to mention I damn near devoured the plate; that's how good it was!!! Hubs finished his plate so I can only imagine it was delicious; like I said, he never even offered me a bite....some Valentine's date huh? Lol!! Our waitress/bartender was the perfect amount of attentive yet space giving. She ensured of beverages were constantly full and was appropriately engaging throughout our stay! Again another five star mark there! The rest of the staff was also very engaging and personable as well! A gentleman, I'm assuming to be the manager, came over to check in about mid way through our meal to ensure everything was to our expectations! We got a variety of different food with a couple drinks, I wouldn't qualify anything as good. The pizza was lukewarm and undercooked on top; the wings weren't much warmer. That's surprising considering both are cooked in an "850 degree" oven. We got sucked into the hype of this place but it's about as good as you would think an Italian gastropub that has Taqueria Tuesday can be. As a side note... My and my wife went here based of the reviews left on google and yelp. We came with high expectation and we were starving from moving all day. The hostess was very nice and sat down right away, the decor was beautiful and is a lovely place for pictures. We weren't in the mood for drinks but we did get the food and it definitely didn't meet our expectations. We started off with wood fired wings, they recommended the Tuscan garlic parm. A subtle flavor but very crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside this was definitely the best part of our dinner and if I had to come again wings is a must. As an entree we ending up getting the wood fired Buffalo pizza and skirt steak frites. Now the pizza crust was beautifully done and I wish the topping weren't so bad. The chicken was chewy and tastes old. The "Buffalo sauce" tasted more like they dumped RedHot over the pizza. Buffalo sauce was definitely what ruined the dish sadly and the cheese didn't have the greatest taste, maybe another flavor would have been great but this one was definitely a mistake. On to the skirt steak frites. The meat was horrible quality, very fatty, and just something I wish I didn't have to pay for. I was very excited for the roasted potatoes because they looked so good, but sadly they had a sweet taste that did not go with the dish, the taste was very disappointing. The reason I gave this restaurant 3 stars was because although the dishes we got were particularly bad, the service was average no complains on the service. I'd like to think it was just the dishes we got that were bad. It was a great place for a first date in terms of decor and atmosphere. And I hope their drinks are much better, but overall the experience for us wasn't the greatest and I would not be going here again. read more

Beyond words! I threw a Surprise brunch for my boyfriend for his 30th and Nick was our server. He was BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL. He knew exactly who the special guest of honor was from the second he walked through the door and made sure he was always served. But a late lunch on Sunday. No. We walked in & my husband asked if I'm taking him to a club because the music was so loud. Great music. But loud! Our waiter was polite but not very attentive. If it was busy, I would understand. But it was not busy. We chose to sit inside so we didn't wind up baking in the sun. I've been here multiple times and always enjoyed the food/ atmosphere. Never felt the need to write a review but last time I came I had the mushroom white pizza (not sure the name) but it was sooooo good. Probably the best pizza I ever had, and I love pizza. Definitely going to come back just for this! The only thing is that the service is a little slow pretty much every time. Figured since it's usually a weekend night and busy. Last time I went for lunch though and there was only one other table occupied, took a good 30-45 mins to get our 2 pizzas. Musician was very good with a great selection of songs. Let me start by saying that our waitress was WONDERFUL. The food however, was not worth the price at all. I paid $22 for a personal pizza that the kitchen FORGOT TO PUT CHEESE ON, and had canned peaches instead of the "fresh grilled peaches" the menu described. When I asked the waitress about the cheese, she went to tell the kitchen, who I guess didn't believe her or me, because she asked me to "check for the cheese" again, like it's something I could miss. Then she took my pizza back to the kitchen as proof, where they haphazardly sprinkled some burrata on it. My friends pizza order also came out wrong- on cauliflower crust instead of a regular crust. They made her a new pizza and again the waitress was really nice, but the kitchen some how messed up both regular menu items (we didn't add/change/ask for anything special). The waitress apologized but the manger did not check on us or offer any compensation of any sort. (I ordered a seltzer, and would have been nice to have that comped at least).
