We were going to give them the opportunity to give us an estimate on our roof. They had been in the neighborhood canvassing and we had been discussing the roof before they came by so thought we would do some comparison shopping. We had an appointment set when my husband would be here to review everything. They called this morning several times and when I was able to get to the phone the scheduler said both the of us needed to be here. I said that I had a commitment today and they said that I absolutely had to be here. I told them my husband was an engineer and perfectly capable of handling the situation but they insisted. When I got home from my class my husband asked me where they were as they had not shown up as scheduled. I told him that the scheduler had insisted on both of us being here and was making us reschedule. He told me to cancel so when the scheduler called at 4:30 I told him to cancel and they had lost their opportunity. What is the point of both of us being here when the decision maker is perfectly capable. Stupid way to do business if you ask me. They won't be getting a chance with us. My husband thought it was insulting. read more

I scheduled an estimate with these guys at a home show for window replacement. The sales rep at the home show was very friendly as was the rep that came to do my estimate. However, I was not aware that the estimate would take 3 hours of my time and include buy now or pay 30% more sales tactic at the end and that price was over 25% higher than even Renewal By Andersen gave me. The calculation of the estimate itself took a lot of time in itself and after it was clear that I was not making a decision that night, the rep was sad and slowly packed his things while trying to make last ditch efforts to point out negatives of other window companies. It's too bad because it seems like they have a decent product but the whole experience is ruined by the pressure sales pitch. read more

The quality of our windows is excellent so it's a shame that I can't give the product itself and the work done more stars for that. However, the sales of this company is downright rude and inappropriate. The guy doing the sales pitch stayed at my house for over FOUR HOURS because his printer broke. I kept giving him hints to leave because I am a high school teacher and I have to get u at 5:30 every morning. He did not leave. We had already decided to buy the windows but he kept talking. I finally had to ask him to leave our house because he was invading our personal space and property. We even offered for him to use our printer but he said he had to use a special printer and it could only be his. Terrible sales experience. read more

We're new homeowners, and obviously very gullible. We had someone come knock at our door one day giving free estimates. We knew we eventually wanted a new roof down the line so we said what the heck. A couple days later they came back, and told us we needed to get our roof fixed asap since it was a fire hazard and should of never passed inspection. (We later found out that wasn't true) Confused & panicked we agreed right away since I was pregnant at the time, and wanted to make sure the house was safe. We thought we were getting a good deal, and felt like they had our best interest, until everyone told us how crazy we were to spend $25,000 on a roof for a very small rancher home. They even had us take out a SECOND loan with 9.9 interest. In the end we'll be paying almost $40,000 after interest. I think they saw a young couple, who weren't knowledgeable with home remodeling & scared and took full advantage. read more

Whoa boy, did we ever dodge a bullet! I had ignored the Yelp warnings as they all seemed focused on the company's sales tactics and just a little bit about windows and doors. As we were having a roof done, their salesman was terrific (took too much time but he was a nice guy) and their products and workmanship looked excellent, so we signed on for a new roof. Well, something happened in the meantime and we had to cancel within the stated recision period. What a nightmare! I faxed the cancellation forms to their Chester, PA HQ and followed up with a call. Was told everything cancelled but a rep still had to come to our door with a paper that needed to be witnessed as we signed. That wasn't in the contract but OK. That appeared to be the only way to get a receipt. Guy shows up and he didn't even keep the original cancellation papers I handed him and did not have any sort of document to be signed or receipt. There was a sales pitch building but I cut him off. I won't go into the messy details of the five telephone calls that followed the visit in search of a receipt but, suffice it to say, I still don't have a receipt acknowledging cancellation. Filed a BBB complaint and hope that will net action. BUYER BEWARE! PHRG finally sent me a receipt after I'd let them know that I was posting this and a BBB complaint. Sad that it has to come to that. I liked 'em. Not anymore. read more

Power Home Remodeling, please discontinue cold calling every day. I've asked for the phone calls to stop but I continue to receive calls daily, my caller ID is evidence. Thank you all for your comments. I wish I had read them all before I let the extremely nice salesman in for his free estimate - which turned out to be a 6 1/2 hour "presentation". I'm not sure if the pictures he took on his phone of the wood in the attic were really ours, they had no date and time on them - but that "scare tactic" worked - at 1:30 a.m., I was so tired I signed up for $22K for roofing. Woke up the next day with regrets of not getting other estimates, like I had said I would, and express mailed the cancellation papers. The products do look like high quality - that should speak for itself- without the high pressure and extreme measures to get a sale on the same day. Never again - once bitten, twice shy. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. :) read more

Just got our old water-logged siding and mangled gutters replaced with Power HRG. Our estimator Adam Taylor helped us pick out siding with far better insulation and new gutters which have already gotten our neighbors' attention! The estimator who came to measure our home found a few extras they could do at no additional cost. The workers were professional & timely & tidy. Great experience so far! I'll update this review with the future upkeep. read more

I feel the need to echo many of the reviews on here. We were approached by nice man who was "in the neighborhood" and stated the person giving the free estimate the following day would do it from the outside and give us an estimate good for one year. The next day a young man showed up and invited himself into the house. Three hours later, after perfectly executing the company's formulaic sales pitch, he finally left. The price magically dropped ~$10K during the last hour of his visit. I cant vouch for the actual work, whereas I didn't have anything done. But I think this company needs to be more forthright as to how long these guys are going to set up shop at your house. I tried to be polite and honest as possible during this whole period, which I regret in hindsight. My friday evening was pissed away due to this bullshit. read more

Can only add to what every else has said. I know I need to replace the roof soon but there is no major damage at this time. Guys were "in the neighborhood" so I figured why not get an estimate. The estimator showed up on time and gave me the spiel. My favorite part was when he showed me all the pictures of sub-roof damage and insisted on going into the attic to inspect. I had no damage so he quickly pointed out a few places where rain had come through the side vent and called it damage due to the roof. After two hours, I was done and asked him to finish the estimate, he punched in a lot of numbers and then started to give me estimates that were double the prices I had researched in advance. Then I got the same day discount offer, then the "if you allow us to take pictures..." Discount. Even with all the discounts and throwing in the gutters, it was still $10k higher than the cost for this area. At the end I received a business card with a price scribled on it, not even a real estimate. Sadly the product itself doesn't look bad and if they were more straight-forward with reasonable prices, I would have considered it. Don't let these guys waste your time. read more

Power Sends "All-American" fresh-faced young people out to peddle their wares in communities where they're "doing work for one of your neighbors just around the corner." The street sales people are as nice as can be ("mmm, dinner smells good," etc.) but the office people who set up the appointments are wolves, sharks, snakes -- whatever creature that conjures up the most negative image for you. The snake that called to set up my "free estimate" asked for me by my first name like we were old frat bros. Then, came right out and asked "how's your credit?" Really dude?! Who shares their credit rating with complete strangers?! Told me it was needed for them to know what product they would pitch to us(!!!) When I told them it was none of his damn business, he said "oh, you must be an all-cash kind of guy." What reputable company insults POTENTIAL customers like this? If you see them at your door (they wear badges and polo shirts with their company logo), DON'T answer!!! Yell through the door for the poor street sales person to log into indeed.com and get a job with a reputable company. And if you do end up talking with them, DON'T give them a phone number to a phone that's important to you. They call the crap out of you. The worst of the worst. read more

If there was a NO star category, that is what they would get. This started last year when 2 young guys dressed in construction like clothes showed up at my door and asked me to step outside and talk to them about my siding. They said they were in my neighborhood because they were working on a neighbor's house (REG FLAD) Ok. So I went outside because I was looking to replace my siding. This young person then asked me if my husband was home. I politely said, "No, I was not married and I was the home owner." He then rudely asked me again the same question in a different way, "So, what about your family members? Who owns this house with you?" At that point I said, I was the ONLY home owner." And the second guy was like, "That is VERY unusual." Apparently having a minority woman own a house by herself is mind-boggling to these guys. They then asked for my phone number so I asked for theirs and they said they could not give it to me. (RED FLAG) I asked for more information and they would not give it to me-- not even the name of the company. (RED FLAG) I told them I would NOT be giving them my phone number so some unnamed company could call me and ask to speak to my husband...who didn't exist. Maybe we could do business when I found one...? This year, the same guy showed up at my door and again asked for my husband. I said, "We've been through this last year....." But the second guy was very polite. So despite the fact they again said they were working on a, "neighbor's house" which they could not identify, I ended up talking to someone else on the phone (who again asked me for a husband....maybe they were selling those, too..?) and set-up an appointment for a, "free estimate." So, the guy showed up and was a nice kid. I immediately told him I was not married. Then hoped that he would not think I was hitting on him. He held me there for 2 hours and 15 minutes (not an exaggeration and I was starving because it went to 8:45pm and usually eat dinner at 7pm.) by saying, "just one more thing..I know you want your estimate" at least 12 times. (RED FLAG) He was showing me all kinds of doctored charts and presented information that he made sound specific to only their company (such as insurance). Of course, he didn't know I have several top masters degrees and could see through all the lies. He presented information on how much things cost (fyi, go to Angie's list for a real estimate) that were vastly inflated. As he was taking I was on my laptop confirming everything. The estimate was $38,000 but he said if I gave him a check right there he would give me a discount to $32,000. (RED FLAG). I asked him if I could change my mind and he said no. (RED FLAG) Of course, in the State of Virginia, you have 3 days to change your mind. Clearly, he did not care about the law. So, I said I would call him if I wanted to go with them after taking to other companies. Then he took back the estimate on paper and said he could not leave it with me. (RED FLAG). Wait a minute, I thought the whole point of my 2 hours of torture and starvation was to get a, "free quote"? I think the reason why their estimate as so high is because they have to pay all of the people who come to our door. I ended up getting several other estimates-- all whom offered me more and better selections of siding to chose from (that's the other thing, they have few options-- they must depend on volume) and other details. I settled on a contractor that gave me MUCH more quality and attention to detail (such as vents, etc) that went with the siding for $15,000. This amount is consistent with all sources of information -- web estimate, professional agencies, etc. Here is one comparison. Power wanted to charge me $2,100 for replacing one small window with a normal window. I will be getting top notch quality hand-made in PA with installation for $500. Most of all, I like and trust my contractor. He will be going my roof now too. And, oh by the way, and he didn't ask me if I was married. :) read more

I really wanted to like these guys because their sales people were so nice, but after making two separate roofing estimate appointments and being stood up both times I'm calling it quits with this company. The first time i was flagged down at a BJs while I was grocery shopping. Reed was very nice and didn't push me too hard. I made an appointment for a roofing estimate scheduled the next Saturday at 11am. I received a phone call from the company confirming the appointment that morning, but then an hour later I received a second phone call saying that they are short staffed and can't make it out to my house. The second time a sales person came to our door. We scheduled for 11am the following Saturday (today actually). I received a phone call confirming the appointment this morning, and less than an hour later received a second phone call saying that they are short staffed and would like to reschedule in a couple weeks. No thanks. There are plenty of roofing companies out there I'm not waiting around for these guys to figure out they're losing out on a lot of customers. I will be making a complaint with the BBB because no one should have to put up with this from a company. What's sad to me is even after all these bad reviews from customers and potential customers they still haven't changed. read more

My boyfriend told me he signed up for a "free" estimate after a guy came door to door asking. The appointment was last night at around 5/6 PM. I got off at 7 and ended up running some errands and having dinner since my boyfriend said the guy was still there. Okay whatever. By 9 when I got home he was still there. This is 3 hours in. I didn't want to be rude so I sat at the table with them where he proceeded to give me a short cut version of his sales pitch. By 10:30 he started getting into pricing and then running back to his car to get a whole window to demonstrate. I was tired and I know my boyfriend was hungry too. But since he got himself into this mess I let him deal with this sales person. I went upstairs. By 11:30 he had still not left yet. I can hear him going over prices and talking about a one time deal if he signed that night. The estimate was $50,000!!!! By 12 I was annoyed so I went downstairs. I for one have no problem saying no to pushy sales people. I informed him that $50,000 is a lot of money and we sure as hell wasn't going to sign anything right away without researching or shopping around. He proceeded to ignore that and talked about how we are being less than smart to keep letting water seep into our house. I told him three more times that it was getting late and that we will call him once we talk it over. By that time he started packing up. I went upstairs and overheard him saying that if only it was just him (my boyfriend) tonight he would have signed. I'm thinking thank goodness I was home. His stupid ass scare tactics don't work on me. Little did he know my dad owns a remodeling business too and I had called him upstairs and told him and my mom the price. Like so many, we were snookered into spending 3+ hours listening to a very well-trained personable sales rep. While personable, he utilized an array of scare tactics to create fear (white mold, leaks, ice damming damage, algae growth, and age) that our roof would not last through the winter and the cost would be $27,000 for a 2600sf roof ($20k if we signed on the spot). Three days later I was told by a reputable roofer (highly rated on Checkbook) that we don't need a new roof. He said to call him in five years and he would give us an estimate. If you have an appointment - cancel it. If you signed a contract - call your lawyer. The BBB website shows 170+ complaints. read more

Had the exact same experience with this company. They called and promised to do a no obligation free quote. The appointment was 7:30pm. I had expected it takes no more than 30 minutes. But it turned to be an over 2-hour sales pitch. The sales person kept on telling me how terrible the conditions of my current windows are and told horrible stories if the windows were not replace immediately. The price quote he gave me is ridiculous, 1.3k/window!!! The guy used all kinds of sales tactics. He offered a high initial prices to start with. Then he provided an one visit promotion which was only valid before he left. After I rejected that, he said he can use some of his marketing budget to lower the price further, it came to a few thousand lower. To be honest, the product they offer seems good. But the price is too high and the sales person is too aggressive. read more

My husband signed up for a free estimate. Like most reviewers have stated, the salesperson was extremely pushy and took almost three hours to give us an estimate despite being told to speed up the process. His initial attempts at ingratiating himself with us were obvious and laughable. The final straw for me was when he looked at my husband and said he would share the technical details with him. Then, he looked at me and said he would show me the actual product which was probably what I was interested in. Seriously? He wasn't going to get a dime from me after that comment. Yes,we got all of the annoying high pressure garbage--both people have to be home, the "today only price," etc. The actual product looked good, but we will never do business with the company due to their sales tactics. read more

Most people here are writing reviews of their sales pitches and followups. I would like to see more reviews of the actual product/service, especially siding. I needed a new roof. When a salesman from Power Home Remodeling Group knocked on my door, I thought that I could at least get an estimate from this company for the job. I have regretted that decision every since. Rather than the standard 10--20 minutes it takes a contractor to provide an estimate, the estimators they sent spent three solid hours at my home talking to me all without measuring the roof or providing me an estimate. This event was much more frustrating than a presentation for a time share. At least I would have gotten four days and three nights at a nice hotel for a time share presentation. When I questioned them about measuring my roof, one of the young men informed me that the company has an aerial view and measurement of my roof which they conveniently left in their vehicle. After a long and frustrating evening with these guys (and no estimate), I finally had to ask them to leave my home. I thought that the story would end there. However, this company has called my telephone twenty times since their appointment (Yes, my cell phone has a record of their calls). This morning, I finally blocked their number from my phone. Right, I should have done that much earlier. Last week, another door to door salesman knocked on my door for some type of construction work. After letting him know that I no longer accept estimates from companies who randomly knock on my door, I explained to him my experience with Power Home Remodeling Group. Without calling their name, this salesman immediately identified the company as Power Home Remolding Group. What a coincidence, he left the company because of the tactics they employ. He also spoke about their practice of calling multiple times. Personally, I do not care for the tactics this company uses. I would NEVER allow them to do work for me. read more

HORRIBLE experience. Absolutely DISGUSTED with the deceit and lack of customer service we received from this company. DO NOT use them! I am a licensed real estate agent in Baltimore and I work for one of the biggest teams in the metro, I will forever tell all of our clients to stay far, far away from this company. It started with a doorknock, a sales pitch, and a quote for 5 new windows. We were thrilled with the experience we received with our window installation, so when Russ came by to follow up we told him how happy we were. Our 5 windows cost us around $3600 financed through green sky. Russ then offered to replace our gutters as well (which desperately needed replacing). He said for just an additional $1200 we could have the gutters replaced, he would enroll both totals at the same time with greensky and our monthly payment would only be an additional $10 a month. We obviously agreed and signed a document for the $4800 total. The gutters were replaced, not correctly at first as we needed someone to come back out and correct it, but they were corrected. The issue arose when we received our bill from greensky - it was almost $9000!! I thought "no way, this has to be a mistake, maybe they accidentally enrolled us twice, once for the original window price and again for the windows and the gutters. I'll call and straighten it out". I called their 800 number where I spoke to Chuck, his only remark was "why do you think you were double charged?" I explained to him what Russ had quoted us and he explained to me the $4600 was for the gutters alone!! I was speechless - we live in a 1600 square foot single family Victorian in Baltimore city and in all my years of real estate I have NEVER heard of a $4600 gutter replacement. That is absolutely absurd. I told him that was NOT what we were told and if that is what we were told we would have NEVER agreed to have them installed. We were under the impression $4600 was our total for the gutters and the windows. All he could say was "well you signed a paper so.. nothing we can do now the work is done" he offered zero solution and basically told us it sucked to be us now. I now owe this BS company $9000 because they flat out LIED to us and then didn't even offer so much as an apology. I was nine months pregnant at the time and they said they would send Russ out to speak to us - but the day he was supposed to come out I went into labor. We have not heard anything from them since. I cannot believe the financial burden these people put us in through lies and deceit while we have a new baby in our lives to top it all off. I will NEVER see my return on investment for these insanely overpriced gutters when I go to resell and I have tons more renovations to make - a lot of renovations where that extra $4600 would have actually made a big difference when we go to sell such as in the kitchen or the bathrooms. I have every intentions of reporting them to the MHIC board for unfair pricing - especially because when I asked the rep to explain to us WHY it cost $4600 for gutters and if he could provide us with an itemized receipt he just said no and would not explain himself. How in the world does five windows only cost $3800 to replace and gutters cost almost $5000?! I have been an emotional wreck ever since this and cannot believe it was such a horrible experience without so much as an apology or an attempt to come to some sort of arrangement. Power Home Remodeling stopped by our house couple days ago. The sales tactic basically consists of sitting in our home for 3 hours and talking about the details of the quality of work and material (We needed siding and roofing and have a house that is 960 sq feet). After 3 hours and we've been asking how much it would cost, the guy said the roofing would be $20,000 and the siding (which he said he doesn't want to give a quote because it's not urgent!) roughly to be $30,000. They were really expecting us to pay $50K for a 940 square feet home (only 2 bedrooms). I called other companies, got a price range around 13-15K for both siding and roof. It doesn't matter how long the roof lasts, which technically can't really last 50 years because each materials wear out regardless of its compounds. The price is the problem here. I simply had to call it a ripoff. read more

Bottom line: I orginally gave Power 1 star (see reasons below) but later upped them to 3 stars because a larger slider window was installed as compensation. I have numerous complaints but probably the most egregious is that the installers are just contractors; they are NOT Power employees only, as stated by the salespeople. I can prove this. My brother had windows installed and spoke highly of the workmanship. They gave him a tutorial on how a window is taken out and the new one put in, each window being done one at a time in case it started to rain or something. Upon completion of the work the installer took my brother around to each window and had him inspect them to make sure he was satisfied. An "independent inspector" then showed up to again see if my brother was satisfied. Because of my brothers experience I chose to use Power for windows and a front door install (after sitting through the 3 hour sales speech). My experience was very different from my brothers. Here is a list of issues/complaints: * After "hello" the first words spoken to me by the installer were "we have a small problem, the front door was measured wrong so they will have to order a new door and come back." (which turned out to be 3 weeks) * I found this unacceptable and told the installer manager (the installers boss) that I wanted to cancel the door; he said they could do that. * After talking on the phone the installer manager said that they in fact could not cancel the door. * We had a longish discussion about why not and I was told things like: the financing is already in place, the door is custom, we donate doors to the Salvation Army (including all the hardware, which is a bold faced lie), etc. * At this point it is raining hard and some of the windows are in place but not capped from the outside so the interior wood around the window is getting wet (recall that the crew for my brother did one window at a time to avoid this). * I point this out to the installer manager and he rolls his eyes and states that they would never cap the windows over wet wood. I ask how they will dry the wood (remember it's raining) and says that they will use a rag. * At this point I leave the conversation and have my wife take over because I am clearly talking with a totally incompetent person. * The installer manager offers to call off the install and wait for good weather--remember that my windows are only half in and the wood around them is exposed on the outside around the window. I have them press on in the rain, much to the crew's annoyance. * The installer manager tells my wife that the water will "vaporize" after a while anyway. * The installer manager leaves and all if quiet for a while. * The crew then knocks on the door and says goodbye, they are done. * Recall that with my brother there was a final walk through for customer satisfaction. * The following day I finally get a Regional VP on the phone and list these complaints (see above). * He is polite but unwilling to cancel the door install. * I describe the difference in installation procedures between my crew and my brother's and he thanks me for the feedback. That's it. * IF THE INSTALL CREWS ARE ALL POWER EMPLOYEES, AND NOT CONTRACTORS, THEN THERE SHOULD BE A STANDARD INSTALL AND CHECK OUT PROCEDURE, CLEARLY THERE IS NOT. FOR EXAMPLE, THE SALES TEAM ALL GIVE THE SAME SPIEL AND USE THE SAME WINDOW DEMONSTATION, ETC. THE INSTALL CREWS SHOULD HAVE THE SAME SET OF PROCEDURES AND IT SHOULD BE CONSISTENT FROM ONE CREW TO THE NEXT IF THEY ARE ALL EMPLOYEED BY POWER AND ONLY POWER. * This saga of mediocrity is not yet complete; remember that the door still needs to be installed because they won't let me cancel it. * On my call with the VP I request that the same crew that did my brothers install do the door install. He says no problem. * The crew comes to install the door; it's not the same crew that did my brother's install. * I let them proceed, at this point the level of incompetence of Power is shocking and I'm tired of dealing with it. * As a final insult the door hardware is nowhere to be found and the installer uses the old doorknob so at least the door is functional. * The door that we order was supposed to be mahogany in color; this door looks more reddish-purple to me than mahogany. I'm positive that I will get nowhere with this complaint. * The installer comes on a Saturday morning to install the door knob. Done. UPDATE, June 3, 2013 To help ammerloriate the situation the Regional VP agreed to install a large slider window free of charge. I tried to bargin this with the installer manager but he said no; I didn't enjoy working with him. The VP was actually a pretty good guy who tried to make things right. In the end Power management (Consumer Advocacy also got involved) did their best to provide customer satisfaction in the face of several hiccups, so I increased their rating. read more

Wow. So glad I decided to read these reviews. I just fell for the "We are doing a job in your hood" story today. As we desperately need new gutters I made an appointment for today. Luckily they never showed up and if they even bother calling I'm going to tell them where they can stick it. They kept hounding me about windows. I kept saying gutters. And also found it interesting they kept asking me about how many windows were in my house. Since this is a cookie cutter neighborhood, if you're doing a house in my hood, shouldn't you know that already?!?!?! read more

It started with the promise of a "free estimate" from a guy that followed us around at Sam's Club. I agreed, and figured what the harm? The salesman from Power Home Remodeling Group came to the house and explained every reason why I should have the siding and windows replaced immediately. I explained I had no intention of signing anything today, or that my house was in such horrible shape. I asked what set my house aside, because every other house on the street also had the original siding and windows. I never received a straight answer for that question. He was at the house for over three hours and left without giving an estimate (THE PURPOSE FOR THE VISIT). He explained that my wife would also need to be present before we went over any numbers. My wife wanted no part of this visit and made herself unavailable for the consult. I explained this to the salesman, but he left me hanging without the estimate anyway. He did disappear to his vehicle at one point and place a call to his boss, that I presume directed him to leave. He explained that he would be back in touch to set up another consultation at a later date to meet with both of us. At that point I was thinking no, but I was so shocked that he walked out that I did not have time to react. I received two robo calls a day from Power around the same time in the morning and in the evening until I answered and explained that Power was not welcome back. You will have to say "hello" more than once for the computer to pick up on your voice and connect you to your salesman. Finally the calls I had been ignoring stopped. I have since had two other companies out that gave "same day" estimates in a third of the time. They all play the sales game and try to pressure you into signing right away, but Power was over the top. I followed my gut instinct, and you should as well. Never sign right away, even if you feel its a good deal. Sit on it for a day or so and get multiple estimates. Most reputable companies will honor their estimate for at least 60 days, so there is no hurry to sign right away. Plus, the quote will likely come down if you don't seem too eager. Power Home Remodeling Group did not do what they promised up front, so I knew I would have problems with them in the future. They are not welcome back....... read more

Two sales people stopped by our house with the same sales pitch of doing work on a neighbor's house would we be interested in an estimate? Sure, we needed some repair work done on our gutters. An appointment was set up for that evening. Less than ten minutes later the guy who would be showing up to do the estimate calls and talks his way out of the appointment(!). I called the main number to find out what was happening as was told, "That appointment was cancelled already." Wow....never had a company NOT want our business before. read more

They are aggressive from the moment you open the door. I am second in charge for my house next to my father; they refused to talk to me about a estimate. Alright, they left me a card and told me when I am ready they can give us a free estimate. COOL very nice of him. I get 3 more calls from them. I finally pick up and some OLD, aggressive, donkey individual is bombing me with questions of when my dad will be home. I'm a grown ass man, do not worry about my dad I AM PAYING FOR ANYTHING that is going to be fixed. Cannot take no for a answer. You think I am going to let you guys touch my house if you guys can't even listen to what I am saying? KEY WORD- Unprofessional. Check the other reviews, not a good one in sight. I never wish bad things on people's business, because they have families. But look at your reviews on here, all of them are negative. Re-think the way you want to be known as in this area. So here is my advice. Slow down, start over, and fine better ways to approach people. If you guys reply. No I won't give you guys a second chance. Also you guys can stop calling me. I am not sending you guys a private message for that. Otherwise ill start singing to whoever calls me. read more

Ok so I admit I was a little scared off by all these reviews....BUT we decided to give them a chance. I will say the sales pitch was a bit unexpected and LONG...the salesperson came at 7pm and finally ended up leaving around 12.30am...he was nice and all and we appreciated him being thorough but would have liked a heads up that the appointment was going to take that long! Anyways, we signed up to do half of our windows due to the price tag and affordability and as promised the workers arrived on the date that they scheduled and was took about 6 hours. They were very efficient....worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Before they left, they asked me to walk around with them and had me check everything with them and explained how they worked. There were project managers that stopped by while the guys were working to make sure everything was going well and the next day, another manager stopped by to get our feedback and thoughts on the whole process and to see if we were completely satisifed. We are very satisfied with the product (if you can get past the sales pitch and get the price down a bit- they don't actually reduce the price of the windows...the negotiable part is with financing), it is definitely worth a try...so far so good....will have to see how this impacts our utility bills! read more
