As others have mentioned, horrible customer service especially if you are dealing with a gift return or baby registry item. I have a baby registry with PB Kids and because someone purchased a gift for me outside of my registry, this store would not let me return the item past 30 days of the date the person purchased it. So essentially, someone could purchase a gift for you and not physically give it to you for 30 days and you've already missed the return window. No credit, nothing will be given to you. What type of policy is this for gifts? I have registries with other stores that give me 6 months or even a full year to return gifts for a credit. PB Kids is so expensive and then they have the nerve to limit you to 30 days for a gift return. Terrible policy, not accommodating to customers at all, and in store customer service isn't helpful. Moving the rest of my registry items to Amazon where I have a full year to return and Target which accepts returns without gift receipts happily. PB Kids simply isn't worth it. read more

It's a bit hard to park in this shopping area but overall it's a nice store. We were greeted by Sarah. She was very nice and offered us help. We decided to buy a children's table and came back to pick it up. They were extremely professional when loading up the item and were sure happy with the quality of the table. Walked in to browse because had a few minutes to kill and wanted to start to browse and baby prep shop. Was in the store for a while 10 minutes and got asked 5 times if I needed any help, if I was okay. The customer service is too much, I'll stick to shopping online. I hadn't been to this chain before but thought I would stop inside. There are some nice dressers and beds here. The variety of other items like lunch boxes and books were nice too. The prices were fair for the quality of what you're getting. It's in a shopping area so parking can be hard. read more

Horrible experience with this store! I am 9 months pregnant, and my dad drove 3 hours to pick up a rocking chair for me from this store. We called ahead and were told that my 15% registry discount would be honored. However, Sheryl did not apply our registry discount after stating on the phone it would be honored. She was extremely rude when we called back to ask about why it was not applied. I would NOT shop at this store again. Set up a registry on BabyList or Crate and Barrel and avoid this store! I came here to return a baby's shower gift and was pleasantly surprised how well they had the place laid out. You can view so many things in one glance! They are very organized and the people working on the day I was there were very kind and helpful. I would love to be able to buy stuff here but the prices are sooooooo high. phew* Well we do have a store credit now so I guess we will come back to see what we can find!! There is plenty of parking and Trader Joe's is RIGHT next door so that's a plus. hehe read more

When I placed my order, there was no way to change the shipping address, so I tried to reach the company to cancel, but I was instructed I had to call during working hours. I ordered the item again, shipped to the correct address, intending to cancel the first order. I emailed PBK and googled a phone number, then called. The man who answered said my item was already "picked for shipping" and could not be cancelled. He said when it arrives, i should call and get a return label. I asked why he couldn't send it now. He just repeated, "It was picked for shipping". When I wanted to discuss further, he said, "I have calls waiting." This is extremely rude to customers. I probably will look elsewhere to buy next time. read more

Just drove 45 min to exchange a nightlight that didn't work, showing proof of purchase. Because it was purchased online I was told I can't exchange in store. Instead I have to wait for a merchandise credit to be mailed to my house and then come back and use that credit in the store. How is that good service? Love the items here (minus when they are defective) but done with the unreasonable rules. Shop somewhere else, I will be moving forward. (Oh was also told by the store clerk that no one else is bothered by this....) hmmmm.... doubt that. read more

I went in today to see a rug that I looked at online, Eric and Anne both assisted me and were extremely helpful! I didn't end up purchasing the rug that I went in for and had them pull a couple different ones that weren't displayed and they showed great customer service (not grumbling or complaining once at my inconvenient requests which I appreciated :). ). Terrible customer service experience. I'm a long term customer and have sourced many, many pieces from pottery barn kids and pottery barn throughout the years both for my home and business but I am repeatedly astonished with how curt, rude and unhelpful the staff are in the retail locations. Today was no exception when I called ahead to confirm they could monogram a pottery barn stocking huts as they had for me each year in the past with the birth of a new baby. I was told they could and met with the lovely lady that does their monogramming only to be very rudely informed by the clerk at the checkout counter that it was a policy violation to monogram something from pottery barn and not pottery barn kids. Mind you they charge for the service and they see the same company. I explained they did the others and in order for them to all match they would need to do it and I was told there was no way to do that and I couldn't talk to anyone else about a solution. Not exactly spreading holiday cheer or kindness. I was most stunned by the attitudinal clerk. Needless to say, I won't be going back. We have been shopping for soon to be here grandsons furniture and bedding. We had came in before and we were told by an employee that if spent more than $700.00 she could get 0% for 12 months. My kids are buying house so they can't run credit..she said they wouldn't like it was a in house financing. So we go back for Fourth of July sale and a young man was helping us who was very nice but kept being pulled away. Cheryl was sent to us which was the same one that we didn't know yet had given us the wrong info on finance..we see a dresser that is 1099.00. She was checking on if this qualified for 20% and it didn't but she said if she was registered she would get the 20% but quoted 959...I'm like that is not 20% off. She was like well online it says $1199.00 it must have gone up overnight. I'm like well that price should be honored. Cheryl scurries away leaving us unattended! Keep in mind this is not a inexpensive store and have gotten better service at Target! We get up to counter and info we had gotten was all wrong ok we did the credit got approved for 12 months. We had asked for a quilt that they didn't have in store so after we do one transaction..she orders the quilt but because it's separate it doesn't qualify for 0 interest and the beat the young lady could do or say is you can pay with you card but it won't be part of 0 interest or you can use another form of payment! Since they are no places to write reviews on their website (bad sign in this day and age) I am writing one here. I bought both my kids backpacks with matching lunch boxes for Kinder and Pre-k. My daughter's backpack (Pre-K for god sake) already has a HOLE from 3 months of use. No warranty after 30 days means they don't stand behind the quality of their products.
