They have the best supreme pizza outside of New York City or course. We order a family-sized pizza for four just last night and it was perfect. None of us had the time to actually dine in, so we took it to go. One of these days we will come back and hopefully enjoy the dine-in experience because the restaurant is nice inside. We also ordered four side salads at the same time. The service was great as usual, and our food was ready to picked-up the second that we arrived. I wasn't sure if they offer any Greek food specialties like the Gyro because those are one of my favorites. I really love the pizza here. I've been going since I was a kid when it was by the Giant. Took a long time for someone to answer the phone. Got there to get my order, there was no one at the counter. I sat watching my food get cold as the server continued to greet and get drinks for customers when he could have just grabbed my food. Then when I get home my pizza has no pepperoni on it that I ordered. So disappointed. Food good but my order was wrong and service should have been better! I absolutely recommend this establishment. Andy, the manager is very customer-focused and he listens to any and everything said. Worst pizza I've ever had. .5 inch of oil sitting on the pizza. Crust was nothing to write home about. The ingredients didn't seem fresh. The pizza they served was on par with sushi from a gas station. The female server was disinterested while taking our orders. Never came to take items off the table. When you have to clean the tables yourself and get up to ask for things from the server who is on their phone, this not the place to go. Potomac can do way better. read more

This location holds some nostalgia for me, as I worked nearby for 10 years, about 10 years ago. We came one day on a whim since we were in the area and I was delighted with my lunch. I typically used to order a veggie platter appetizer and a piece of cheese pizza, so that's what I choose this time too. The veggies are always perfect, plentiful, and served with ranch dressing. The pizza is typically thin crust and not too overwhelmingly oily. I am a fan. The parking is wide open free parking in Potomac Village, but the less chaotic side where most people are going to a bank or something. They could probably use an update to the interior, but it's fine enough. Anyway, it's a nice place to stop for a decent lunch. read more

Their menu offers various appetizers, salads & soup, pizzas, calzones, subs and sandwiches, and even Italian specialties (such as linguine with marinara sauce, pasta with meatballs, and spinach lasagna). For a recent gathering, a dear friend ordered a couple of pizzas - the Ultimate Potomac Pizza (it was chock full of black olives, Canadian bacon, green peppers, ground beef, sliced mushrooms, onions, pepperoni, and Italian sausage, minus the anchovies) and a pineapple & cheese thin pizza - both were tasty! I really enjoyed the Ultimate Potomac Pizza as it was filling and had a generous amount of the toppings, both with the veggies and with the meat! The pineapple & cheese pizza was also good, as it had an even cheese and pineapple ratio - the pineapples could be of a thicker chunk, but I think the thin crust wouldn't have held it up well! Took my parents and wife/kid to this place on saturday around 6:30-7pm. Where to start: My son asked for half cheese/pepp. Pizza, they got his order wrong. My step father ordered lasagna, it came 10 min after everyone else had finished their meal. It was so late we thought they forgot, we rejected it. Also it looked less than tasty. My mom asked for vinegar/oil dressing, they forgot to bring with her salad. She asked a man who worked there, he forgot, she then asked our waitress, she forgot. It never came. Two words. College food. That is pretty much what you will get here. The selection and taste of the food is like high school cafeteria meets college dining hall. It reminded me a lot of Chanello's Pizza from my college days, which is not saying much. The pizza slices are decent, but they tasted like I just got out of class in college. The jalapeño poppers are not zingy at all, in fact they might be overkill with how much cheese there was inside of them. That, and they were quite overwhelming. The White pie was not good at all. I ordered it to go, but I saw it was so small yet so greasy, but had no taste. What a letdown. I only went here because my bank gave me an offer, so I decided to give this place a chance. Who goes to a pizza place and doesn't order pizza? Me, I really like Potomac Pizza's grilled chicken salad. There is a lot of grilled chicken, which is cooked with a nice char, yet still tender. Next, there are fresh crunchy cucumber slices, red cherry tomatoes, and red onion. All of these ingredients are sitting on a bed of fresh lettuce. Then, there is the honey mustard dressing which is delicious! Okay, to be absolutely truthful, I do on occasion order their pizza too. My teammate likes her pizza topped with peppers. They scarf that pizza down! I have also ordered their calzones, which are amazing! The cheese, sauce, and meat calzone is another favorite. Rich tomato sauce, heavy on the cheese, hearty meat, and the perfect calzone dough. Yum, I get hungry just thinking about it! Sometimes, you have to wait a while. The last time I was there they lost my order. The manager noticed me waiting around and redid my order quickly. What was I doing? Like a good Yelper taking pictures to post on Yelp. I've lived in New York City, and I'm going to be blunt here: in my humble opinion, Potomac Pizza offers better slices with better toppings than any comparable joint in the big apple. Their veggies are huge and flavorful. Their meats are tasty, with just the right amount of oil and salt. The slices are greasy, but not too greasy, and the crusts both fluffy and crispy, making them perfect to wipe up any cheese grease that's dripped off. As I write this review, we're currently in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. I grabbed two slices on my way home, both with sausage, onion and mushrooms. Now, granted, getting the toppings added to individual slices is never the same as getting them cooked into a whole pizza, but regardless: If those were the last two slices of pizza I ate before succumbing to the pandemic, I could honestly die a content man. The slices were piled high, and each bite was as satisfying as the one that came before it. I've made my decision: Potomac Pizza is my favorite pizza. Period. I highly recommend. read more
