We stopped in for a quick family dinner, and from the moment we walked in, the vibe felt...off. One woman was waiting for takeout and looked visibly frustrated. I asked if she was in line so we wouldn't cut in front of her, and she barely looked up from her phone before coldly saying, "No, I'm waiting for my food." By the end of our visit, I understood why. We ordered four simple meals, and the employee behind the counter acted like taking our order was an inconvenience. Then came the surprise: $83 for two pastas and two subs with a side of fries and drinks. After paying, the screen prompted for a tip--even though we ordered at the counter. While waiting, my son accidentally spilled his drink. We cleaned up as best we could with napkins and asked for something heavier to help. The staff handed us a single hand towel with no concern or effort to assist. After another long wait, a robot rolled our food out to the table. That made the tip request feel even more out of place since there was essentially no table service. To be fair, the food itself was good. But good food couldn't overcome the indifferent service, long wait, high prices, and overall lack of hospitality. I left feeling like we were an interruption rather than customers. Unfortunately, I don't see us coming back. The chicken parm sub was very good though.

I stopped at Deli Italiano for a quick to go bite on a random Friday afternoon. I ordered when I got there so I knew I would have to wait a little bit. My food came out quite quickly even though they had a steady flow of take out business. The Stromboli was piping hot and filled with sausage, pepperoni, ricotta, and cheese. The marinara it came with was pretty yummy too. My only critique is that a lot of my meat toppings were in the middle of the Stromboli so when I ate the sides it was mostly cheese. Other than that, the crust was very crispy with a bit of cornmeal (which I love). This was a great choice for a quick stop in my travels that day.

Deli Italiano is the absolute best pizza place I've ever experienced! I'm thankful for a quick and easy option for lunch, dinner and family nights! Make sure to check out the new robot, The Deli Man!

turkey and provolone sub

i loved the outdoor seating it was perfect on a not too hot summer day! the flowers and greenery was great. the staff was super friendly and brought the food out to us even though we were outside. the food isn't bad it's just boring. it's definitely a solid meal for a decent price but it wasn't memorable. they have a good variety of options and the 2 slices w fountain drink for $10 deal is great. their calzones look pretty good and may try that if i were to come back. the sub was disappointing and was boring, though the bread was good. it just needs some good italian juice or something especially since this is a deli. nevertheless it's a cute spot and a decent option.

The slices of pizza were pretty impressive, came with coworkers. Pizza was hot and fresh at 1100 and the subs took a few min to arrive but were large and equally enjoyable to everyone. Medium-high priced for slices of pizza but I'd eat it again.

The pizza is tasty but the crust is soggy, not crispy, and the cheese is tough or a little rubbery.

Quality is not great and prices have become ridiculous - a cheeseburger with fries is like $15!!! $4 for a side of fries now, absurd.

I'm a big sandwich fan and generally make them at home because most shops don't add enough meet or toppings. I think I found my new sandwich shop. Checked out the menu and had to decide between the roast pork and broccolini or panko breaded fried chicken sandwich. Both sounded good, but after I found out the roast pork shoulder is made in house, the decision became really easy. My friends ordered the fried chicken with double chicken ($4.00 upgrade). The staff were very friendly and efficient. It was close to closing but everyone was super nice. They called us to pick up our orders and I was somewhat surprised by the feel of my sandwich. It has some heft to it. I sat down, opened it, and you can see what I had in the photo. Good bread can make or break a sandwich. My sandwich roll was slightly toasted with a good crunch and the inner part was nice and chewy. The sandwich had the perfect ratio of pork and broccolini and was covered in melted cheese and had a mayo/mustardy sauce. There was also just a touch of what tasted like crushed red pepper which just set the sandwich off. I was thinking Reading Terminal Market level of good. My buddies chicken sandwich was ridiculous. Two fried chicken breasts with all the toppings on a nice roll. It was tasty. This place is a real deal sandwich shop. The have the standard sodas and also have Dr. Brown's, Perrier water, San Pellegrino, draft beer, and other beers and seltzer drinks in cans. The chips are the Dirty and Route 11 chips. It's like they selected the best things to go with their sandwiches. Location is a little tricky to find and parking is tight, but it's totally worth the trip. I will definitely be back, but probably get everything to go. If you want a really good sandwich that is stuffed with filling for a fair price, you need to come here and try it out. You won't be disappointed!

Sometimes you just want to reward yourself with something sweet and…read moredelicious.  That's why we decided to head on over to Twisted Sweets & Savory.  We had never had chimney cakes before - an omission that shall not be allowed to happen again because - Yum!  These are like if really sugary donuts were stretched out into long snakes of dough and then coiled up until it made a wonderful open tube to be coated with all sorts of great things. We chose to do the pistachella and the bounty.  They both featured Nutella and if that wasn't enough, one added crushed pistachios and the other coconut flakes.  They were very tasty but very rich and between the two of us, we had to admit defeat before finishing them both.  Happily, there are to go boxes to bring home any remainders.  The space is very clean and there are tables and lots of napkins (which you will need because these treats are both awesome and very messy).  The staff was very friendly and the parking is easy in the lot out front.  We will have to come back again to try some of the savory options to definitely be followed up by another dessert one. MMMMMM

Grant Street, it turns out, is disjointed. In other words, it's not like it's just a straight shot from one end to the other. We stopped in here on a Saturday around 4 p.m. The place closes at 6 p.m., and are closed on Sunday. At that time of day, they weren't at all busy. The young man at the counter took our orders, and someone working in the back made the sandwiches. We just ordered savory items, so we can't speak to how the sweet items are (although some of them sounded so good). I ordered the salmon sandwich, which consists of: "Choice of your chimney bread, spread with dill cream cheese, filled with smoked Atlantic salmon, spring mix, cucumber, and red onion." The bread choices are everything bagel, jalapeno, and cheesy. I chose the everything bagel and asked for no onion. I found this sandwich to be tasty, but I thought they could have gone lighter with the dill cream cheese. The bread had a nice crispness. My husband ordered the ham and Swiss sandwich, which consists of: "Choice of your chimney bread, spread with paprika mayo and filled with black forest ham, Swiss cheese, fresh romaine hearts, spring mix, sweet pepper, tomato, cucumber, and red onion". He wasn't happy with the paprika mayo, as he says mustard would have worked better. Nor did he care for the sweet peppers. Now he knows not to order the default setting for this sandwich but instead to customize the toppings. They work with DoorDash, which, when ordering online, gives the option to customize one's order. There are high tables, the type that are found in bars, for those who want to eat their sandwiches there. The place is kept very clean.
