The owners are very polite, professional and don't try to charge you extra if you receive over one package a week. (Yes this happened to us at another location.) They offer other services: Notary, passport photos. And they sell a myriad of other items but hands down for PO box holders really great location to do business with. read more

Great place and people! You can handle FedEx, UPS, Amazon, and USPS drop-offs all in one spot, plus mailbox services, notary, passport photos, shredding, office supplies, and shipping supplies. What really stood out was the customer service. They took care of me the whole time and were genuinely friendly and smiling. I came in just needing to drop off a package but didn't have clear tape to attach the label. They handled it right there--taped the label, secured the box, and made the whole process effortless. Great people, great service. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to. read more

PostalAnnex - What they offer - Notaries Near Me - San Jose, California

We needed a place that was safe and secure for mail and secure and we found it at the Postal Annex on Branham lane in San Jose. It's ran really well. Great vibes in there too! Thanks Ramen, you guys rock there!! Julie read more

Really friendly PostalAnnex location! I went here for a FedEx drop off and found out they also do drop offs for UPS, USPS, and DHL. This will be my go-to spot for return drop offs going forward instead of going to multiple places to return items. :) This location is located in the same plaza as the Safeway on Branham. They also provide other services at very fair prices! read more

Great customer service! I came in with a large, heavy scooter that needed to get RMA'ed and despite being very difficult to package, they made it work. They even stayed past their closing time to make sure I was taken care of. read more

Went in here because we needed to get something notarized and then sent via certified mail. We were greeted immediately. Both of the people who worked there were very kind and polite. We were in and out including getting the document notarized and mailed with certified mail in less than 10 minutes. Cost was around $20 for everything. read more

Don't get fingerprinting done here. It took 45 minutes this afternoon and they couldn't guarantee that my prints would go through. There was one person getting theirs done before me who took about 15-20 minutes. When it was my turn, the trainee couldn't get my pinky prints approved. The computer would beep and say, "insufficient roll." After we tried rolling each pinky about 20 times each, she finally went to get help from another employee. He came back and said they could just submit them anyways. I asked what would happen if each pinky was an inefficient capture and he said my Livescan/fingerprinting wouldn't clear and I could come back and get a refund for the $30 fee. So here I am waiting and hoping they captured my prints accurately in time to get cleared for my kids field trip. Lesson learned, I won't come here for fingerprinting ever again. read more

Good service and offers to help load packages. Will come backs for more . Ok thank you.

Arrived here with my family around 1:15 pm on a Saturday afternoon to ship a package, notarize documents, and photocopy documents. We were the only ones inside and there was a sole worker helping us- a nice gentleman who provided awesome and professional customer service. He was very thorough in helping us with our multiple asks and specific requests while great multitasking like picking up the phone and attending to walk in customers while we were working on our documents. He found opportune moments to work with other customers while working with us. Got all of our tasks done at this Postal Annex and highly appreciate the customer service especially on a hot day! read more

I love this place to ship my packages. Not only do I ship UPS packages for also USPS, which is so convenient. They open a lot later than the regular post office, and they're always so friendly. Definitely recommend this place to everybody else who wants to get their packages to ship out without having to deal with rude customer service like I have dealt with when I go to the UPS store. read more

I've had a PO Box at this location for a few years to avoid dealing with package thieves and the experience between the previous team and this team is night and day. I'm greeted with enthusiasm every time I come in and the qol upgrades with notifications is great. Keep it up! read more

This was my 2nd time getting something notarized here, and both times the service was great and very helpful. They're very thorough with their work and always make sure to check IDs. It was a bit embarrassing that my ID was expired, but luckily they accepted my passport and were still able to complete my paperwork. They made the process very easy and quick. read more

Amazing service. The staff was friendly, professional, and really efficient. The process was quick, everything was explained clearly, and I felt taken care of. Would 100% recommend. read more

Horrible experience. The staff is good except one who is an elderly guy who was extremely rude. We brought 20 boxes worth to be mailed and this is the first time I've heard of the reasoning, there's not enough space for the carrier to accept these boxes. We've dropped more than 20 boxes several times before with no issues. If you're dealing with staff, just don't deal with the elderly guy here, as he spews inaccurate information so that he doesn't have to work. read more

Great location! Very friendly staff and quick service. Never had any issues with packages being dropped off. My go to local spot!!

I only like this location. My favorite service that this location provides is notary. (Call ahead of time just to make sure the notary is on site & will be at the time you plan on arriving ) They only charge $15 per signature! I drive from downtown SJ out to this location every time I need something notarized. read more

Very friendly people!!! Also now under new management. I have been going there for years. I have used their notary service and also fingerprint livescan services! Always willing to listen and help AND of course ship! read more

The representative was very friendly and helped process our shipping. He answered all our questions

This is the worst place to get a mailbox at in my opinion. The app notifies you and shows your package has arrived. You schedule a pick up. You go there to pick up your package and they tell you, we have it but we can't give it to you. I got there on a Saturday and they tell me to come back Monday. I get there Monday and they tell me the person that does that isn't here come back later. If your someone looking for this kind of service, this is the place for you. Terrible experience, terrible service. I do not recommend this place. read more

The old owner is gone now. This store is now seeing a lot of improvement. I will be coming back!

Super unfriendly lady works here who over charged us. She charged us a dollar per document for SCANS. She was also very unfriendly. My mom wanted to go here because she likes to support small business and says the man who works there is nice but unfortunately the lady was not nice to us even though my mom had been there that same morning. She refused to scan our apostille documents 1 by 1 as requested since they are stapled with a seal. If she'd had experience with these types of documents before, I would have loved to hear it but she offered no assistance and simply refused to scan one by one. Our receipt states it was a fax and has no itemization on it, and low and behold they charged us their infamous 17 dollars, just like every other person on these reviews that had bad experiences... Please be kind and helpful to your customers!! I gave 2 stars because she got the job done, albeit a painful experience lol read more

Overpriced. I made the mistake because the naming of this place confused me. I trusted them because of the "postal" name. Anyway, they charged me over 50 bucks to send out a stack of documents. read more

Went in after calling to see if they had Usps flat rate boxes/envelopes. Was told they do... when I arrived I was told the price to send the flat-date ENVELOPE was 17 dollars. Absolutely insane. Charge me a buck if uoh want, even two... the mailers are free to you.. but that's like 5-7 dollars more, per envelope! I was excited when I realized there was a shipping center close to me... but that excitement is now disappointment. read more
