This place is a joke. I went to send some items via Fed Ex. When I got there I asked them if they had any envelopes or Fed Ex boxes. They said no they don't have any but I could buy one. So I did. $4 for a small envelope. When I get the free from Fed Ex. Then I asked for a piece of tape to put the label on and was told it would $6.50 for processing fee. What the hell is a processing fee to give me a piece of tape. This is crazy. They should be removed off the list of a Fed Ex provider. Shame. read more

Yesterday 12/04/2021 i was in line around 5 person. As i was waiting my turn , the work there was so rude to almost everyone, young lady needed paper sign he said fill it out yourself, just like that no help no nothing . Other lady had packages 175$ let me tell you the package was not even big . Hes the crazy one i had two 2 inch x 3 inch package I figure may be 30$ over night . was i so wrong 110$ yes 110$ i told the guy there you fuck the other people not going fuck me . So i went to post office got it ship 29$ in the box that if it fits it ship . And it will get there Monday. The guy said there not going leave til Monday. I'm a full-time reseller and I prefer to use this office than the actual USPS. All of my orders are always scanned and mailed on time. Since I print my own shipping labels at home, dropping off the mail is always easy and quick. Plus the employees are nice. read more

Came to get a live scan and it's not that they had only one person working but after waiting in line for 20 mins when it was finally my turn the worker took my papers and says to wait longer. Tried to drop off an item I received from Amazon. I returned it in the same condition I received it I / was an oversized item and therefore I didn't have another 7 foot box to replace it. I taped it up n brought it in and they refused to take it. Once I drop it off and it shows shipped I am not responsible for its condition and since I received it damaged I was following Amazon's instruction. These postal snobs wouldn't take it, got controlling and carried it out like a bunch of UPS police and told me to take it to UPS. read more

Very rude customer service and not kid friendly. I want him to get live scanned which I have done before in the past. I was helped by Chris who usually is there when I go. This time there was another guy there as well. I believe it was the owner. He was very rude towards the kids. It is ridiculous for someone to think I would get daycare to go and get a 10 minute lifescan. As soon as I walked in with the kids I could see his face change in his attitude change. Just rude. I will never take my business to this location again. UPS is kid friendly and they even have blocks and books for the kids to read while they wait. This location doesn't even have chairs for anyone to sit while they wait. The floors are dirty, there are no restrooms available, not to mention it is awkwardly quiet. Maybe they should invest in some chairs and a speaker to play Pandora in the background. read more

Stopped in here today to return a box to Amazon. Was "informed" by Chris, they had no way of giving me a receipt for my package because their scanner wasn't working. He repeated this several times in spite of me telling him I had been there before and had return packages for Amazon scanned and a receipt issued. When I asked who was the store owner, Chris said "he's very rarely here." I said, that's not what I asked, I asked for his name. He again said he's never around. I tried rephrasing the question and asked for a phone number for the owner, Chris said all calls go through the Corporate office, and besides the store isn't owned by anyone, it's a franchise. I tried once more with Chris, got nowhere, and moved on to Dilan. Dilan said he had "worked" there the longest, so he guessed he was the go to guy. So I asked Dilan who does he go to when he has a problem, and he gave me the name Dan Cox and an 800 number to the corporate office in San Diego. I didn't call the number he gave (something felt odd) instead called the number listed on the website. I spoke with a young lady named Kim who transferred me to Zack Duff who said he is the manager for Franchise Services. Zack told me Dilan IS the OWNER of this store and he couldn't understand why 1) he did not admit he was the store owner, and 2) even if his scanner was out of order, he could have manually entered the bar code number into the system and issued a receipt. When I told Zack that Dilan and Chris were really making Postal Annex look bad and going foward I would take my business elsewhere, he said as a customer that I was certainly within my right to do so. I still have no clue as to what's happening in this store, but suffice to say I will not be going back. read more

Do not go!! Worst postal annex in the valley! You'll get overcharged and are dishonest!!! I paid overnight shipping for an item going to Burbank and was charged $52 for OVERNIGHT shipping.... turns out Dylan, the owner shipped it out ground, it took 2 days for my package to arrive. Went back to get a refund and owner said that ground usually takes 1 day this reason for shipping it ground.???? WHY WOULD HE CHARGE ME FOR OVERNIGHT AND NOT SHIPPING OVERNIGHT? It's very convenient to have this service in Coachella, although it is just barely located in Coachella. I've been there quite a few times. The person who usually behind the counter is surly, rude, and cannot be troubled to so much as say hello. I'm certain he overcharges, as has been mentioned. He charged us 6.50 to laminate a small paper card, which is ridiculous. Once I was fortunate enough to have a young woman wait on me and noticed that the charges were much less expensive that day. I don't know if this man is the owner, if so he's not a good businessman. If the guy is an employee he should be fired. Rudeness and especially overcharging should never be tolerated. If I could get this particular postal Annex in Coachella a zero, I would. I am a registered nurse that needs live scan fingerprints. I paid $84 to have my fingerprints taken. They were rejected by the board of registration of nursing. I returned to the PostalAnnex to have them done over. They wanted me to pay an additional $84. In the meantime I am unable to work. Don't go to this postal Annex in Coachella. I wished that I read the comments before I went. read more

The owner is a total liar and thief. He promised to overnight a shipment at a $120 rate. We paid it and the following day we saw the shipment wasn't being mailed until the following day. When we called FedEx directly they indicated the package hadn't been shipped. We then called this place direct and he blatantly lied and said he had told us that it wouldn't get shipped the next day. Postal Annex at the neighborhood Wal Mart store at the corner of 48th Ave. and Jackson St. in Coachella is the best. Dilan and Chris are personable and care for your postage, copy and paper needs. It's kind of my extended office. I use their services as a mobile chiropractor almost daily. Thank you Postal Annex of Coachella. Been going to you for years and will continue. Scam artist. I have gone here a few times to send some packages out. I bought an envelope and it cost me over $3. Wow. Another time I went in to return an item from amazon. Amazon has prepaid return items. All you have to do is print out the scanner and they have to give you a return slip so you can stick it on the return package. So I go in tell him I have to return this package the guy tells me it's $1.50 for processing charge. I told him it's prepaid already he said yea but we still charge a processing fee. I said I've sent lots if things back and never have i been charged. He said well your return slip needs to be taped up. I told him well give me a slip so I can stick it on. He didn't say anything gave me a slip. Then he said don't worry about it. I called him out on his bluff. This dude is a thief scumbag!! Beware this dude will add stupid Charges extra just so he can pocket the money. read more
