I was in need of a return of an appliance that was mailed out in a very soft unstable original box and so of course, it needed to be sent back. Thinking I had to go a farther distance, I was glad to see this branch which is inside the little private pharmacy on Country Club, which you can reach from the light at Harris. It is very close to Sun City too. They are on the same block as a meat market and Cups Cafe. The staff are immediately welcoming visitors and within a few minutes the young man had confirmed my QR return code on the authorization. Employees were a little more soft spoken, but were still knowledgeable and decent. We had to return a car part to a non Amazon retailer and paid $34, they made it an easy process. It took them about 10 minutes for every transaction. Just pretty upset we had to pay a shipping return on something that didn't even match the car part we required. It was crowded due to the pharmacy that shared a little more than half the store. Customers got close to create a line with minimal space for it. The pharmacist Peachy also works the UPS storefront, she was knowledgeable about the services and even reminded an employee to doublecheck boxes since she made a transaction return for a customer who got charged for a shipping label when they already had one. read more

I'm frickin LIVID. That man with the beard KNOWS I am just there to drop off UPS packages. I printed the labels myself at home. He knows I do not need a receipt. He made me wait in line to drop off my packages. I had to wait on 4 people to do several Amazon returns in a row. All to walk up, drop my packages off and walk away in under 2 seconds. There was no reason for that. My time wa literally stolen from me today. I'll NEVER EVER step foot back in that store again. I have so many choices- and this one is out. I've had issues here but it's not actually staff related.. the parking sucks, getting in and out of that mall is miserable, and if you need to go back over the bridge.. oh boy.. but this location has great staff .. i don't wait very long. Customer service was deplorable. I've used ups at many locations and have an account with them. I've mailed numerous times to a PO Box with no problem. This location wouldn't look up my account, wouldn't mail to a PO Box and wanted to charge me for tape. I've never been lectured to by a retail person like this in my life!!!! I went in to pick up two packages for a tradeshow. We 11 hours to get here. The packages were shipped by UPS and when I get there, I am told that because they were delivered a day earlier I was to pay a $30 holding fee. The employees were very rude and told me that I should've just had the packages delivered to my house when I informed them that I was there for a tradeshow and we lived 11 hours away. They just said oh well. This is really my first review and I am absolutely disgusted with in the way within which they handle business. Being a business myself for 40 years, these guys would not be working for me. One had a beard and I think he has been mentioned. Not good customer service. In addition I ended up waiting 20minutes while they argued with some lady in front of me. to be clear, this store is located at 77932 Country Club Dr., Palm Desert California. It's inside a pharmacy which I had to wait until 9 o'clock for it to open other UPS stores open at eight. In addition I drove an hour to get to this particular store. Not the easiest to find. We had an Amazon return so needed to pop in. We didn't realize it was located inside a pharmacy until we saw the UPS banners. That's the only store indicator. No one was manning the small desk, so we went to the pharmacist, who pointed me back. We were returning a package that had not been opened except one end. The UPS employee said "the instructions said that the box has to be taped". We didn't have tape with us (on vacation). He said he would charge a $1 taping fee. He was not friendly or helpful. THIS IS NOT A UPS STORE! It's a pharmacy that has a UPS sign and a few mailboxes. Wasted 10 minutes driving around a ridiculously small and packed parking lot to have to get out of the car to find the tiny UPS sign on the window. Not full service. Cannot process Amazon returns. I did not personally use any amenities within the store, but needed to reach out to a local UPS store when my package had shipping issues. Michelle at the store has been helping me for two days trying to help me get my package sorted at the Palm Springs hub. After talking with her (SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND HAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!), we contacted the hub so I could pick up my package. The hub called back and said the package would not be there until the morning, understandable. When I arrive to the hub, instead of leaving my package there, they send it on another truck? Now I wouldn't be able to get my package until after the MD weekend, even though I paid rush shipping during the week. The staff at the Palm Springs hub were not helpful or attentive at all, but LUCKILY I had Michelle help me out and get in contact with the hub and set them straight. If you need help with any problems, Michelle goes above and beyond what is expected, and would entrust her with my future mailing needs. Her service alone would have me use UPS again. read more

Very gracious group that run this Pharmacy/ Postal Office. I was in today for both online shopping returns ( no problem ) and sending some face masks to friends. The Customer Service counter person ( feel horrible I did not ask her name ) could not have been more accomodating.
