I called and asked how much it would be to print, I was quoted $.25 per page. When I went in there to print, she tells me that it's $3.00 when I tell her I was quoted $.25 per page she tells me that she thought I said copy not print each print is $1.50. I have been a customer for quite a while. My mail box at our condos (and many others) has been broken into so this seemed to be a solution. Years on we have had minor problems but not enough to complain about. Truth to tell, all I remember was that there was a problem, not what it was. Then today. I got a phone call that they had a package for us (12/24/21) and the next time they would be open would be 12/27. That, of course, meant that I had better get on my horse and pick it up. A delivery of flowers from my son and his wife to my ill wife. Without that call, above what you would expect would be dead flowers. There have been a few other odds and ends of exceptional care. I went to PostalAnnex in Antioch today. They were very very helpful. The owner was able to perform my fingerprints and notarize everything very quickly and efficiently. Do not come here it will cost you double what ever usps quotes and most likely ups and fed ex as well. The mark up was double. The lady in front of me said usps quote from amazon was 2.75 they charged her $5 and change. I go to shop my box the size of a baseball. She quotes me $25 bare minimum extra 1.30 for tracking (free with usps shipping) wanted to charge me for $50 insurance(free with standard 2-3 shipping). I go to usps they charge me $12 give me tracking and insurance in and out in 10 minutes. read more

Came here last minute and the notary was late she was suppose to be in at 5. When she shows up she doesn't have her stuff ready a 5-10 minute process took like 25 mins because she was trying to multi task and had to go to the back to get her book. Then the guy working there kept bothering her while she was helping us. Not to mention 15 dollar per signature is a rip off considering it's only one paper that needed to be filled out and notarized. They also had some paperwork that needed to be fedex or ups before Monday it had to do with court and they just were blowing it off like oh well it is what it is. read more

This is the first time I have ever written a yelp review. However, given today's service, a review was warranted (even for me, and thats saying something!) I required a LiveScan for my professional license, so I contacted the closest location that offered the service, Postal Annex, Antioch. Per the website, an appointment is required to have a Live Scan done at this location. I called this morning, spoke with the notary who does the Live Scans, and she gave me a 5:45pm appt. for this evening. I show up a few minutes early, and with a couple of minutes there are 5 other people in line. Interestingly, at least 3 of us were given 5:45pm appointment today. Hmmm scheduling glitch or incompetence on their part? I err on assuming it must have been a scheduling glitch. Then the woman in front of me informs me that this is the 6 or 7 time she has come to this place in the last 3 weeks at 5:45 to have a LiveScan done (which are the hours posted online) and the notary woman just never shows. I begin to believe her when 10 minutes go by and the woman still isn't there. I felt bad for her coworker who called her 3-4 times with no answer, as she is stuck in a store with disgruntled people (who have appointments) who are tired of waiting. Ultimately the notary arrives at 6:20, and makes a joke about how someone should have brought dinner since she'll be here until 8 now. I was the 2 in line and its 50 minutes past my appointment time when she starts my LiveScan. When she asks for payment I asked her for a reduction in her fee as the notary due to being 50 minutes late for our 10 minute appointment. She refuses, instead offering me to come tomorrow at 5:45, so I "won't have to wait". I wont even spend time elaborating the lack of logic that option offers. The most frustrating part of this all is that she took zero responsibility for her tardiness and inconveniencing at least 5 people (by a factor of 45mins - 1:30). Instead, she went with the 'lets find an alibi' approach, and blamed a car accident at the intersection in front of the shopping plaza as the reason for her tardiness. 1) the accident occurred at 5:30, all of us drove through it, and arrived on time. 2) The police were already on scene cleaning things up when I drove through and they never closed the road (this was a relatively minor accident). 3) the obvious: she could have parked her car on a side street, walked, and only been 5-10 minutes late if this were true. If she had taken $5 off her fee and apologized it would have been totally different. I cant figure out how she has evaded termination of employment up to this point. Punctuality is a basic and universal expectation of employment. It sounds like this is a serious, repetitive problem for this employee. And it is at the inconvenience of customers. Furthermore, it is unprofessional to provide services extremely delayed from the agreed upon time, and expect full payment for services rendered. read more

I use to go to post-office for my mailing until I got to know about Postal Annex near Safeway shopping center near Hillcrest ave and Deer valley Rd. Very friendly service fast, in and out not like the post office waiting in the line for ever. They have all the services FedEx, UPS, USPS, Notary service, Copying, printing Etc. Short story: The lady working there was an hour late to the appointment, and gave another person the same appointment time so 2 people were stuck waiting for her for an hour and to top it off some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I've been treated better at the DMV than I was here. Never going back. 0 stars! Long story: I'd give 0 stars if I could. We went to Wells Fargo to close an account for my grandmother who passed away. The banker said there are some documents that need to be signed and notarized, he made a 5:45 appointment with the lady next door (postal Annex) he said to meet her there and she'll take care of it. Not only does she come trolling in around 630 but there was another person ahead of me with the SAME appointment time waiting. It was about 7pm when she was finally able to help me, and then when signed my name in her notary book she tried to tell me that my "signature is incorrect"?! What the hell?! It's my signature I can make it look like whatever I want! As long as it matches all my ID's (which is did) it shouldn't matter what it looks like. She tried telling me that my signature had to have my middle name in it, and I know that's complete bs! After waiting for as long as I did, getting no apology for it, and then claiming my signature was incorrect I was done with this place. Luckily Wells Fargo was covering the cost so I just told her this is my signature take it or I'm going somewhere else. She begrudgingly took it but it was obvious by her body language that she wasn't too happy about it. How this place is still in business is beyond me. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!! read more

Will never frequent this establishment again. This is the second time I experienced rude service, but this takes the cake. The gentleman behind the counter became angry when I requested to see a breakdown of the charges for my certified package (the total was $10 more than the PO chart). I don't mind paying a couple dollars more for the convenience of using the Annex, but not $10. I had not paid yet, so I told him I preferred to take my package to the PO if his quote was correct. He threw my package and the unattached postage label on the back counter and proceeded to assist 3 customers in line. I again requested he return my package and he refused! He said he had already run the postage and could not reverse it. I told him he was very rude and unprofessional when he threw my package and assisted others and that it was his problem and I wanted my package back. He refused and said I had to wait for the manager. I waited 30 minutes while he refused to give me my package back (fuming)! When the manager arrived she cancelled out the postage label saying it was a long process for them to get the money back (Again, not my problem!) and she handed me my package back. Horrible service! Not only did he lie when he said they couldn't get the money back, but they did not need my packagei to process their refund. Will never go there again. read more

I wish i could give 0 stars because this is the WORST POSTAL ANNEX IN THE AREA ! Says they open at 9:15 but in reality they open whenever they want to. They should be more professional and change the hours to fit they're schedule instead of making people stand outside waiting for a business that should be open when they say they will be. I came to Postal Annex to mail 2 glasses. I wasn't sure how to pack the glasses so they wouldn't break in shipment. I called in advance to see if they could pack them for me, and I was told they could. I get there with my 2 wine glasses (that's it) and the lady started packaging them for me. I figured I would be paying for the box and packing supplies. Little did I know 1 box, some bubble wrap, and some foam peanuts would cost me 22 DOLLARS! I was charged 8 dollars for "labor" it took her maybe 5 minutes at most to put everything in the box. Had I known how easy what she did was, I would have done it myself! She gave me the price to mail the box regular parcel post and I knew it was way overpriced. I used to work at a postal annex, I know they need to make money too, but it was ridiculous! I paid the outrageous price for the supplies and took the box to Raleys and sent it for less than half what she quoted me. I will NEVER go back to this place again! read more
