Postal Plus is my favorite place to go for my shipping needs. Its very rarely busy and I can usually just drop off packages quickly. The staff is always friendly and willing to give helpful tips to save money on packaging. They close the store early on weekends so keep in mind the time before you head over. It's a shame that amazon changed there return policy and location, otherwise I would have come here more often. read more

After 10 years of doing business with these people we are done. Ever since the new owner took over and Curtis left the staff have been rude, incompetent and utterly unhelpful. Upon closing our box because we moved, we discovered that after a decade they will not even forward any last, trailing mail to us because, "we can't do that." That's not a can't, that's a won't. We've had a mailbox, paid to send packages, bought stamps, done passport photos, used notary services... so much business and there is zero consideration. We won't ever set foot in there again and I'll be shocked if they stay in business with the way they're conducting themselves. And as it turns out, what they're doing is ILLEGAL. Per USPS "A CMRA must accept and re-mail mail to former customers for at least 6 months after termination of the agency relationship. " read more

I went to the postal plus because I have used them for years without issue but lately the customer service has gone down hill and the final straw was when I sent a humidor to my buddy in Louisiana and the used too small of a box and not enough padding. It arrived utterly destroyed and when I came in for them to make it right I was basically told to go kick rocks. I called usps and found out I was over charged $70 for the shipping and if they would have put the insurance on like I asked for in the first place it would have only added $3 to the total. So they are cutting corners on the packaging, failing to insure the packages, and are rude to you when you come in to complain about the bad service. Not good ways to sustain a business in today's economic climate. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. It will save you time, money, and heartache. read more

Severely under staffed. I waited for 30min for a passport photo and had to leave because I had groceries in the car that I didn't want to spoil. There were only 2 people ahead of me and one guy behind the counter. I could see another sitting in the back so not sure what the staffing is like. I came in the other day it reeked of alcohol and I think the owner has parties in the back of a postal store lol!!! I called the day before and the lady yesterday said that I can come for Livescan when they open at 9am. When I arrived 9:10am, Lady on counter said Livescan is at 10am as the person is NOT in yet. I have only been to this place for Livescan Fingerprinting and each time, they are very quick. Customer service is friendly. They charged me $77 for my fingerprints. They make 2 copies of your documents for you and sign it as well. As I was looking around the store, they also ship your packages if you're selling on Ebay. On the front windows, it also says they can take pictures for your passport as well. This is like a one stop shop for sure! On the phone, the guy told me they stop the fingerprint services at 4:30 so 30 minutes before closing time. read more

Love this business and the employees! The prices and service are exactly what I was hoping for when I had to last minute overnight my sons band shirts to his dads in Brentwood. While there I discovered that they will print out things on card stock paper. I am planning my baby shower and chose storybook bookmarks for my favors, they printed them out and cut them all for me for an extremely reasonable price! Don't do business with Postal Plus. I have been a loyal customer for four years and last year, when Postal Plus changed owners, I moved my mail box to another postal company, as I did not like what the new owner was doing with his business. Because Postal Plus is considered a commercial mail receiving agency (CMRA), you CANNOT submit an address with the United States Postal Service. For 11 months I kept my mail box and as I received mail, I would make an address with the company or business. When my contract was up, I informed the owner I was closing my mail box. When asked what he was doing with my mail, he said he would return it to the sender. I informed him according to the USPS website, CMRA's had to hold mail for six months. After going back and forth with him about his policy and him not be able to find my contract, he gave me my mail in July but today, when I went to get my mail, he said I would have to pay to have it delivered to me. He does not care or have any type of customer service and is only looking to make a buck off people. read more

I live close to Postal Plus and have been going here for printing and shipping for years. Curtis is one of those managers who remembers your name if you're a regular, and can multi-task. For example, if he's already helping someone, he can print something I've emailed in so I'm not standing there waiting to tell him I need something printed. He's always super helpful and courteous. My only kinda complaint, is that printing prices aren't always what is posted, and it varies depending on who's working the counter. It's consistent with Curtis, but the other guys; some days it's 50 cents for two sheets of paper, other days it's $1.00. Being that I don't have a working printer at home, it's still really convenient. read more

Poor costumer service. Lack of compassion for his job or the business. I arrived at 5:50, not knowing what time they closed because there is no store hours posted on the store front. As he is helping a customer with UHaul As we wait for 10 minutes or so, He decided to acknowledge us, asks us what we need help with. We replied Notary, he then said. I'm sorry we are closed. What's unfortunate about the situation is could have easily told us that upon arrival instead of letting us wait for 10 minutes. As I'm writing this review. He couldn't help the UHaul customers either. As the exit the store verbally expressing their frustrations as well. Just wondering if he was a bit of a hurry to get off. Yes, they do have super-secret-discreet p.o. boxes here, just like in "Sea of Love". But they offer a lot for those of us with more boring secrets, too. Don't tell anyone, but I sometimes don't even remember which of my contact's home address is the most recent; they do. Everyone, from the owners on down are Shipping Ninjas. I've had them give me friendly advice on everything from what kind of packing to use for vegan tamales to which "Soldiers' Angels" address is cheapest. Don't tell anyone, but they think I don't know they don't always charge me full price to ship APO boxes at Christmas. Shhhh. A good, reliable, professional local business. Recommended. read more

2:49 is the new 3 o'clock. Well it is here anyway. Their posted hours show they are open until 3pm on Saturdays. I hate when businesses open and close anytime they feel like it. If you're going to operate like that don't bother posting your operating hours. When places (any kind of place, restaurants etc) are unreliable I definitely start looking elsewhere. This place is maybe ok for convenience if you live nearby, but I wouldn't go out of your way to ship something from here. The woman who works here, I get the impression she's one of the owners, has got a major attitude problem. She's very rude, possibly hates her life. I would use some other choice words to describe her, but I'm a gentleman. There are a couple of guys who've worked there for a while that are pretty cool and always friendly. She should take a lesson from them. Prices are high, essentially you're paying markup on UPS/FedEx rates. If they get any volume discount they definitely don't pass it along to the customer. After realizing their rates I just paid for and printed my own labels BUT they refuse to give you a receipt when you drop off a prepaid package with them! So, there's no proof that you ever handed them a package... if something ever gets lost in the mail good luck proving you did in fact ship it! Last gripe is, they have been known to open late and sometimes closed early. After reading my own review I don't know why I've used them as many times as I have. read more

Have been a costumer and had a box there for 6 years the service WAS super than in December 2019 Curtis and Will left and everything went down hill super fast..........mailing missing, getting the wrong boxes, Wrong packages and wrong mail, the entire attitude of the place changed and the owner doesn't have a clue. Than I heard Curtis bought the Postal Center on Pacific Ave. I immediately went to check if it was true and YES HE DID. I got a box and now I get everything I'm expecting no BS and the super customer service I had grown to expect. So I had to get a notary done quickly since I was restricted on time w/my paperwork. My brother who was coming from the Bay Area in weekday rush hour traffic was the person who I needed to get the paperwork notarized for. It was 5:30pm & the store closes at 6pm. I called Curtis who would be performing the notary & told him my situation & he told me that he would wait after hours until we got there to perform the notary. They are probably one of the most knowledgeable postal classes and Stockton. I recently went to another postal plus that was On March Lane and they were just horrible they could not figure out how to print out anything they were not trying they were rude to all the customers so I left that store and went to postal plus on Hammer Lane because that's what I do usually go. My documents were printed within minutes and because I had so much the employee took his personal cell phone out and made it where I could just download it there and put the information into the printer quicker they are amazing team I would recommend them to everyone. I noticed that all the otherPlaces had lines around the corner there was no wait time and they were quick and efficient I would believe that it's because they're on the corner of don Avenue and West Hammer is why people probably don't go there but they are really good. The location may not be as great or convenient as the This location by the local Walmart but they are way better service and it's worth the drive. read more

I came here to have my finger prints done. I walked in told her I'm here for my appointment. The short Mexican lady with blonde streaks in her hair argues me down and tells me that I do not have an appointment. I even showed her the conformation number, but she still said I did not have an appointment. She was trying to brush me off, but I wasn't going for it because I knew I had my appointment. I'm being nice and polite to her the whole time while she had a really nasty attitude towards me. When she finally took me to the back she kept telling me to look at the wall. Why should I have to look at the wall? I need to see what you're doing. Is that how she treats all of the customers? If so she needs to watch out because one day she'll come across a customer that is not as patient and polite as I am and get beat up real quick. I was about ready to walk out but I wasn't going to let her bad attitude stop me from taking care of business. I'm glad I got my fingerprints done but I am very dissatisfied with the customer service I was provided today. read more

Had to send a prescription med to my wife who was in El Paso visiting our son and she forgot to take her eye meds with her. somehow the package I sent got lost and these people went out of their way to make sure she got here meds. They offered to pay any charges if our insurance did no cover replacing the meds. A few phone calls got a new prescript sent to El Paso and insurance covered it. When I stopped at store to let them know everything was ok they wrote me a refund check on the spot. Great people. read more
