    Do not believe the 5 star reviews of shoemaker court apartments in Norwalk. They are bribing tenants with $25 to leave positive reviews. Instead of paying people for reviews they should use that money to buy a new gate. The gate is always out of order and gives a loud beeping sound every 30 seconds at all hours effecting my sleep. In addition to this they raise rent without notice and important rooms like the mail room and laundry room are never locked after hours in which they should be. These people consistently violate the terms laid out in the lease agreement and should be held accountable.

At the time, it seemed reasonable and manageable. However, after several years of residing here, I can confidently say the experience has deteriorated to the point where the stress and ongoing issues far outweigh any initial affordability. Below are the top three reasons I would strongly advise potential renters to reconsider: 1. Poor Sanitation & Persistent Roach Infestations Cleanliness has been an ongoing concern throughout the property. Despite attempts to address it, the complex consistently struggles with roaches and overall lack of upkeep. It creates an uncomfortable and unsanitary environment that no tenant should have to tolerate. 2. Unresponsive & Unprofessional Management Communication with management is extremely difficult. Emails frequently go unanswered, concerns are dismissed, and professionalism is lacking across the board. Simple issues often take excessive time to resolve--if they're addressed at all. Residents deserve better support and accountability. 3. Questionable Charges & Untrustworthy Practices There have been multiple instances of unexplained fees, inconsistent billing, and overall disorganized management of tenant accounts. It creates a sense of distrust and frustration. Renters should not have to worry about being overcharged or misled regarding their financial obligations. Overall: While the price was initially appealing during the pandemic, the ongoing problems make this property impossible to recommend.
