I get mani/pedis regularly here and they are fantastic. The end result is beautiful and carefully done. It is speedy and comes with a great mini shoulder/back message. Recently, I began getting haircuts and color done here as they have expanded their services. The haircuts are affordable and come out lovely. The color comes out even, even when I just get root jobs in between regular coloring. I picked the color myself out of a book of hair swatches and it looks just like the book color. The scalp massage with the hair washing is heavenly and worth the price of the haircut by itself. I was a bit skeptical at first when I discovered there were no sinks for hair washing; just beds with basins below them. I was pleasantly surprised at how calming the whole wash experience was. I came to Posh Spa for the first time and was greeted by May who showed professionalism and care. I think she did my nails nicely, was patient, and quite fast tbh - which isnt a bad thing. It took me a while to find a place who does quality dip powder without making my nails thick. May is easy to talk to , chatted the entire time felt like i was with an old friend. The place was clean, bright, welcoming, and staff was efficient. The owner was also present greeting customers as well. Highly recommend! read more

These are probably the worst acrylic nails I've ever gotten. I went to Posh Spa located in Avenue U to get a pedicure and acrylic manicure for my engagement party. The pedicure was great. The person who did my acrylics had no idea what she was doing. I asked if she could do the stiletto shape and she had no idea what I was talking about so she ended up trying to do coffin shape instead. Usually when you do coffin, almond, stiletto shape, you're supposed to clip each side of the nail to minimize the amount of filing you need to do. She did not do that. She started filing so hard, she was filing my skin! I told her she was hurting me and she said sorry but then proceeded to file my skin again and cut me! I was bleeding. She put enormous globs of acrylic, resulting in my nails being super thick and not even. I had to ask her a few times to file more because of the thickness and she also didn't compare the length of one hand to the other so my nails are all different lengths. By the end of it, I had a painful cut and the worst shaped nails ever. I spent about $100 total for a decent pedicure and a botched acrylic set. If you are looking for a basic mani and pedi, this may be the place for you. But they are terrible at acrylics. My engagement party is tomorrow and I'm so upset with how my nails turned out. read more

I had a very pleasant experience overall. I have very sensitive hands and the staff worked with me to safely remove the tough acrylic from my nails while protecting it from the usual mess of pealing skin and an allergic reaction that happen after the fact. May also helped patch a nail that cracked all the way into my nail bed. I was so grateful. The salon was spacious and clean. The staff were warm and welcoming. I also witnessed them learning about new facial products from a representative too. Goes to show they research and know about the products they use on their clients. I highly recommend. read more

Unfortunately, it wasn't so, the lady I had did a well enough job, but it felt rushed. Ok so I went here the first time as a walk-in on a Monday and my spa pedicure was absolutely fabulous. Was told it's best to make an appointment so I did. Made a 12PM appointment and sat there waiting till 12:35 when I decided I needed to walk out. Please Don't tell people to make an appointment and then you don't honour it because people decided to have their kids get manicures and pedicures last minute without appointments. I have children and I understand they want what they want but as an establishment when you have appointments you need to learn to honour them. read more
