I've been coming here regularly since the pandemic and always ask for Kim, she's the best! Her work is consistent which I appreciate. I think what keeps me coming back besides Kim is the level of professionalism in the salon, I've never had any issues here. My appointments always start on time and they accommodate me if I'm late. The only negative which took away a star is they don't do designs here, French at best but that's it. I've tried cat-eye and chrome and it just didn't look that good. They could also use a larger gel color selection. If you want a basic mani/pedi this place is for you, but if you're a design girlie go elsewhere. read more

Every time I go they are so attentive to my nails ( esp the guy!!). I'm lowkey a perfectionist and I love French nails so whenever I get a French manicure I'm worried the tip won't be straight or it'll be uneven. The guy who does my nails does an amaaaazing job & I refuse to go anywhere else. The massages for the manicure/pedicure are not great though LOL. It's like 2 squeezes and that's it but I'm not here for a massage so I'm not mad!! I usually get regular polish and it lasts a decent amount of time ~1 week until it starts chipping but that's definitely my fault because I'm RECKLESS. read more

I moved into the area recently and needed a new nail salon to go to. I started doing my research and decided to come here for gel manicure. And OMG I did not regret it. I had Kim they did my manicure and she has the most gentle hands ever. I usually have to tell all manicure ladies on how to do my nails but not her, she knew exactly how to do my Nails (not even one single cuticle cut)!!!! This will definitely be my go to spot now. First time at this nail salon and I was so impressed that I might go out of my way and make this my regular Mani/Pedi spot. I walked in for a pedicure and a french gel manicure on a random Wednesday afternoon. There was about a 20 minute wait but I had time to kill. The regular pedicure was $18 and in my opinion, it was well worth the price. They use a disposable liner for the pedicure tub so you're not soaking your feet in a tub that other people have soaked their feet in. This is a HUGE plus for me. They also use BRAND NEW emory boards, buffing block and callus/pumice bar for each new pedicure. My pedicure took close to an hour but I'm so happy that my manicurist was very meticulous. My French Gel Manicure was $32. Again, my manicurist was very meticulous. She removed my cuticles with care, cut my nails and filed them multiple times until they were all the same size and shape. (You'd be surprised how many manicurists just don't care.) My manicurist removed the tip part of my manicure multiple times until the 'french tip' was the same size/width/shape on each and every finger. Others might find this tedious and annoying, I, however, personally loved her attention to detail. I was very happy with my service and will gladly be back for all my manicure/pedicure needs! This place does take credit card but beware that they charge a $2.00 'service fee' for using your credit card. read more

The technician was not that good, i got some cuts when she peels my dead skin. I used to live near the Sister Nails on Cropsey. I searched for years to find the perfect (for me) UV gel sculpted nail. I found Annie and she never let me down. Then I moved away. I still went. Not as often because of the drive and parking over there was hard. Then I got a job with a 1 hour commute in the opposite direction. Without a time machine to warp me there I gave up and tried another place. It was not what I asked for and chipped horribly. I HAD to go back to Annie and it had to be fast. We have a family event this weekend and my hands were horrid. I had planned a half day to prepare for the upcoming event. I called the salon on Cropsey and they told me to call Annie at the new store they just opened. I did! And I am so happy!!! Be aware it is up one flight of stairs but it is BRAND NEW! The hair stations are not set up yet but the pedi chairs have USB ports! Yes, I took a picture of one of the two bathrooms because you can see how new it is! So many colors including the Pantone line (I did not even know that existed until today)! I have my square, thick white French, UV nails and my hands look awesome once again. Wayne and Nina (the owners) really made this a beautiful salon. My one reservation about this review is once everyone finds the second Sisters Nail location, it is going to be hard to get an appointment! P.S. Parking is tough. Plan extra time if you want a non-meter spot and even meters can be full. They are 2 hour limits near the salon. P.P.S. I am really just a customer. I have no investment in this review other than hoping they succeeded because of the level of service and the beautiful new location. read more

They did a nice job but it was a stressful experience. They do not enforce their own mask and social distancing policies. They have signs up but they are meaningless. The staff wears masks but I saw at least 5 customers without masks. They sat one unmasked customer in the chair right next to me (no spacing). They also let their customers talk on their speaker phones while they are getting services done. I will not return. read more

This is a pretty decent nail salon. Ive gone here a few times to get a powder (SNS) mani, and the ladies do a somewhat good job. However, i think they could do a better job at filing the powder down and around so it doesn't feel like you're wearing press on nails that are too big for your nail. Also, i would recommend coming here with your powder mani already soaked off. The lady started drilling into my own nail, i yanked it away out of pain and she laughed it off, and told me i had to use the drill because it would take too long to just soak... I blame salons like these that are overusing the drill, and causing nail damage. If i have the time to sit and soak then let me soak please. The drill can be used in moderation but once its causing pain/damage then it should be stopped, quality over quantity. My nails look fine but months of doing powder mani's and using the drill MY own nails were so weak and brittle and i had to take a break from anything that wasn't regular nail polish, so beware! If youre cool with using the drill and don't mind nails on the thicker side then this is your place! read more

So at first I thought I walked into a bad place. I ran inside and it had wonderful decor. I'm standing my the reception desk waiting to be approached and I hear someone say "what do you need?" I look up and the women that work there are all across the room looking at me. Maybe I was being a little sensitive but it's like they never saw a black person before . So I tell her I want an acrylic soak off and gel manicure no acrylic. The free women look at each other to see who will take me and I feel pretty uncomfortable. I'm set up with Kathy. She puts me to soak and leaves me there to die . Usually when I get soaked they shave off the gel colour and let me pick my colour etc but I had both hands in the bath, and no shaving the top layer off. The acetone started to burn my skin but barely penetrate the nails . I see other women walk in and get instantly taken care of and pampered so I'm in my feels. Kathy comes to start on my nails and dumps me for another girl. That's when Jesus smiled on me and gave me another woman. I can't remember her name but she has glasses and a cute pixie haircut. She starts trying to get the acrylic off my nails and get the ball rolling. She also shaved down my nails to have the acetone soak better. SHE TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE OF MY NAILS. I'm going to make it a thing to only book her. I live in rego park queens and I will come back JUST for her. My nails were pretty weak from my past bad acrylic set and she recommended the dip gel powder. She did it to perfection. Some people mess up and don't seal your nails but they are perfection. I came here to get a mani & pedi; had a 6pm appointment, didn't get seated for my nails till 630 during which my technician got up multiple times to do different things. She finished my nails and then said someone else would do my toes since her new client had an appointment and needed to be seated ..... I did as well. I waited another 25 min to get my toes done. All in all two hours to get sub-par mani pedi, and it chipped two days in. Everyone is very nice but service is terrible. Wouldn't come back. read more

This is the type of place you got to if you want half decent looking nails for a reasonable price. However, this isn't the type of place that cares about the health of your nails. They are more focused on getting you in and out with the most expensive bundle. They have probably two solid nail techs that are polite and do things by the book, but there's this one tech in particular, all the way in the back, that has no idea what she's doing and it's concerning. One time she did a fill-in for me and all my nails were uneven, it was so bad! The second and last time I went in I asked to get my tips removed and she pulled out a metro card to take them off. When I asked if she was going to soak the nails, she said "no, soaking takes too long." I had to insist that i had the time to just get them soaked off! She is also drill happy and will file your skin off with the drill if you let her. I was so frustrated that I asked to just get the nails off and cut them down and I'll paint them myself at home. read more

So when you walk into this place on the 2nd floor your notice it is very clean and neat everything seems to have it's place which is really nice . You are greeted by the woman who looked when I was there today there were 4 workers. They didn't seem busy at all which was really nice especially since I wanted to get in and get out. I loved the amount of options that were available for gel manicures. There were lots of shiny glittery and Chrome colors as Well as lots of bright colors. The reason this place is Getting a 3 out of 5 is because this please clearly does not clean the tools after each person uses them I found this to be completely disgusting.. Sadly I did not realize it until she was already halfway done with cleaning the 2nd hand. How do I know that it wasn't clean you ask... there was somebody else's nail clippings in the freaking little area where the tools were kept. I deftly no it wasn't mine because I did not clip my nails just filed them. I really wanted to love this place but maybe next time I'll ask to make sure they clean the tools right in front of me prior to them actually doing my nails. She was able to do my nails fairly quickly which was nice. But now I'm worried about the cleanliness of my hands and Hoping that I won't get Any nail fungus. After my nails were Done they gave me a 3 minute back massage which was fairly nice. read more
