Small little nail shop, and it is by appointment only. Upon appearance, it is not the cleanest nail shop out there but the work and quality makes up for it. They had a good amount of color selection but they don't have them painted anywhere so you'd just have to tell the color by the bottle. I wasn't satisfied with my previous nail salon so I came across Nails on U. I got a UV gel refill with a micro french tip design and it was 35$+ tip. Van did my nails and I have no complaints. I don't even know where to start with this place. 1. Called for an appt. based solely on Yelp! Reviews. 2. Showed up at time of appt. and was not even acknowledged, let alone accommodated for my scheduled time. 3. They had no A.C.- doors were open, it was about 95 degrees outside. 4. This place is SO dirty and gross, I am glad they couldn't accommodate me, because I gladly walked out. I don't know how people come here because the filth was completely mind boggling. 5. NO COVID precautions that I saw in the 5 minutes I waited to be acknowledged. A mask is all I saw. No sanitizing. No temperature taking. No wiping. EW! read more

Very quality manicures for very reasonable prices. I have gotten several here over the years and they always do a great job. They lost a star because the inside is not very aesthetically pleasing and is run down. What converted me though is my sister got a gel manicure there before COVID and it lasted 4 months! The gel was in great condition aside from it obviously growing out. That was convincing enough for me to go there once they opened. I also thought they did a good job with COVID precautions (wearing masks, plastic shield between customer and manicurist and between customers, cleaning the seats after use, cleaning all the products, easily accessible sanitizers and keeping doors opened). I started coming here in April, because one of my customers had recommended it to me. Her nails always looked nice, so I decided to give it a go. Best decision ever. Now, I recommend it to all of my friends! I go there every two weeks religiously. Susan is the best at what she does. I'll show her pictures from Pinterest, and she'll do an exact job, if not better. I came here because of the reviews, so i thought i'd take a chance. I was looking for a new salon as previous manicurist is really good, but doesn't do designs and is very pricey because they use no fume products, which is appreciated for health reasons; however, going every two weeks became costly. But i am so glad i stumbled across Nails on U! They had courteous phone manners, and accommodated me the same day! I called at 11 am and they were able to fit me in at 1pm on a Friday! And they were very patient, I arrived late as I had to get cash, and not once did they complain or have a nasty attitude. So two tips, make sure you come with cash and call in for an apt. as they actually do hold your apt unlike other salons who will take other people over you even if you're 1 min late. Susan did my nails, and she is a PRO, she was gentle, didn't dig into my cuticles or over file my nail bed. I've gone to well over 50 manicurist in my lifetime, so I know a good one from a bad one pretty early on in the process. She was fast, full set from start to finish in 45 mins with designs. highly recommend this place! read more

Okay so this is my first time at this place. My friend recommended it and in alllll honesty this has been an extremely pleasant experience. The lady Susan was so nice and the design was free which is like unheard of! The whole thing including previous gel removal was about 40 min and although the space is small, they make up for it with the quality of the work. Hopefully the gel I got lasts more than a week (I have no luck with manicures ever) and I'll definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know read more

She was rushing through my nails because a lady had just walked in so it didn't even come out as neat. So I live in the area and this is one of the closest nail side to me. I came in for a full set and one of the women started doing my nails and I started noticing that she didn't even clean my nails. As time went on of her doing my nails I started noticing that one of my nails just didn't look right and as I asked her to fix the nail she told me that because she did not notice how the nail was wrong she was not going to fix it. So as I was trying to explain it to her and what I felt was wrong with my nails she just was not getting it so I just let it go and I had her put the paint on and as I left I started looking at my nails every last nail was not the shape that I asked for. I originally asked for an almond shape and I did not receive that somewhere oval somewhere around she took too much off and it just looked really bad and they felt very uncomfortable. For me I don't usually get my nails done much but when I do I would like to feel pampered. And in that nail salon it was not a good experience and as I asked the lady if she can soak them off and she can redo them she said no she will only stop them off after I paid her and I was not pleased with the services. So no I would not recommend this place whatsoever it definitely is a hole in the wall very small and it did not look that clean. read more
