Fanny literally fixed up my nails after a lady on 18ave did it so bad. I can't believe my eyes at how gorgeous they look after she finished

This is a special review aimed towards LIN. I have been coming here every 3 weeks for two years and the first time I came here I remember LIN did my nails and she made me bleed, but I still gave this place another shot and finally found my go-to gals (Tracy, Cici, and Cristina). A lot of their workers have changed overtime and today my go-to gals were not working so I settled for anyone. WORST IDEA EVER. As LIN was doing my nails I started to feel a strange sense of fear like I was going to get hurt and I did. She scraped the same finger 3 times and I flinched each and every time. That's when I realized who was doing my nails, the same lady who first did my nails two years back. But it's been two years, so maybe she's gotten better. Boy was I wrong. I will not be going back here again because I found a way better place nearby for just about the same price, but just to warn you if you come, DO NOT LET LIN DO YOUR NAILS, unless you like it rough with a hint of fear. I gave this place two stars because 1. Shout out to my go-to gals and 2. Their SNS colors and design selections are by far the most versatile of all the nail salons I have been to. Bring them any design and they will say they can do it, but whether or not it comes out looking okay is a risk you'll have to take.

Love Fanny!! I come here all the time and they are kid friendly. My daughter loves coming with me to see the girls. Friendly and professional staff. I recommend Sns nails, eyebrow and spa pedicure. My friend comes all the way from Staten Island to get hers done here!!

Every nail received their own bad job.

I had my gel done on Sunday, and today 2 days later I have 2 nails chipped! Seriously the worst gel mani ever! Update after most of the gel started to come off naturally. He is my bare nail after. Completely brittle and broken. I'm so disgusted with this place! Like I said, do yourself a favor and go next door to OPI or just about anywhere else but this place!

This is my first time at Fanny's. I have to say the service here is exceptional and I really love the final result. I asked for a powder gel and they had so many selections for colors. In the end, I chose the avocado color and it looked amazing! They also cut my nails at the perfect length and the perfect thickness. Even after 2 weeks, the nails still looks perfect!

These people treat you like shit never coming here again! They wanna take the cheap and easy way out but wanna charge top dollar !! she charged me $50 dollars for some shitty ass nails

As you can see my finger is swollen and oozing

Do not recommend this place! I went there cuz the nail salon I wanted to go to was all booked. What a mistake! They don't push your cuticles and the lady who did my nails over cut the cuticles on one of my fingers. It was swollen and pain for the next two weeks... I had to wear bandage to prevent it from bumping into things. And the gel manicure didn't even last more than 10 days.. the whole nail polish came off..

A straight nail - this one I was able to get without a fight.

Oh... Fanny! Fanny appears friendly but don't be fooled. She is a DRAGON. The next level unprofessional. She will dismiss you, belittle your observations - yep even when it's about your own nails and you believe they aren't exactly straight. She will sigh and "hm!" every time you try checking if she corrected her mess, hereby strongly discouraging you from checking again. She will yell "I'm not done" every time you show the crooked corner - while she just moved on to the next nail and she doesn't intend on coming back as it's round 3 or 4 and now she filed too much away so there is nothing to come back to. I've heard phrases like "who looks at the nails from that angle??" (that's me looking down on my hand), "it's just nails, why they need to be perfect?", "I do this for years and nobody complains" (hello? you almost ate me alive every time I took a breath to say I think the nail is not straight- do you really think you're inviting people for feedback?); and I am the kind to stay calm but will emphasize my point of view. Imagine someone who isn't as brave. I specifically asked her not to give me square nails and of course that's exactly what I get. She is an incredibly dirty worker. There was no towel or not even a paper towel on her desk. My nail dust was flying all over the clothing, her tools, desk was covered it in along with all her nail polish bottles and... a set of cutting tools that she intended to use for my cuticles and I declined. She literally brushed me clean once during the entire process (I got tips and sns). My hands were literally covered in stuff. Wow. Once done, she overcharged me but when I questioned returned my $13. With some arguing, at the end she did straighten the 3 nails so they look fine (not exactly evenly long especially the 3 she messed up), but I walked away with my anxiety through the roof and super stressed. Was it worth it? Absolutely not. Never again. This woman doesn't have the skill nor the respect to hear the customer out, even when everything is explained calmly- about my very own nails may I stress again. Her ego is bigger than her customer wish. You know it's bad when the customer has to say to the owner "could you please take it easy" and "could you please calm down", a few times. Normally it's the other way around. Just stay away.

Update 2: I had to give this place an update since I visited them again recently. I'm honestly a little disappointed-- my nails were done by Fanny this time and I have to say-- my experience with her was maybe the worst out of all the other workers. I took away one star because of a few reasons; Fanny is somewhat unprofessional as other reviews have pointed out. She does things her way and assures you that she knows what she's doing even when you ask her to fix a crooked edge or an uneven nail. When I asked for two top coats she said, "2 nails for $5" she clearly misheard and thought I asked for a design, so when another customer chirped in and told her that I was asking for two top coats, Fanny replied in an oddly grave tone, "I know!" The bottom of my nails were messy and she sanded down way too much to the point where I have cuts on my finger that were bleeding. Whenever anyone moved, Fanny would peak up from my nails and pause for a good 3-4 minutes before continuing. She didn't take her time to make sure my nails were even and even finished earlier than someone who started before me! Other than that, just make sure you get someone other than Fanny to do your nails. Update: I can never be disappointed with the end results of my nails here! Prices are affordable, the people are nice, and the stations are always kept clean. There is literally nothing more that I can ask for. The first time I was here for SNS, they only had one book of colors. Now, nearly 6 months later, they've added another book of colors! I got an SNS dip powder with tips and it wasn't incredibly pricey. My nails are naturally weak, so I was recommended the dip powder and I have to say, I am not disappointed :). My nails feel much stronger, and the lady who did my nails made sure to put on a layer of nail lacquer in between each dip in the powder. She even trimmed each acrylic nail first to make sure that the tip would fit on my natural nails. Good quality for the price, and pretty good service

LOOK AT HOW TERRIBLE MY NAILS CAME OUT. WHAT TIPS???? Like that 0.00001in of it???
    Tina L.

Honestly Fanny is the worst. I've been here several times and had my nails done by the other workers and it came out fine. This time I decided to try out SNS since there was a promotion going on. Fanny insisted to do my nails even though the lady doing my pedicure was going to do it. At first I thought it was a great idea since she was the boss and seemed professional. WRONG! I had showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails (it was kendall jenners nail that was long and narrow but I told her I didnt want it as long, just a bit shorter). I definitely needed tips because my nails were so short. After Fanny glued on my tips, she started cutting my pinky ring. I noticed she cut so much off and i stopped her. Shes like NO its fine after I file. "I know what you like, what you want" But I insisted that it should be longer so it would be more narrow and straight. She assured me that it would be fine. So im like ok whatever. And she starts to file down my shape. I noticed it was really off from what I wanted because it was not skinny enough and my nails were still so SHORT. So i had to keep telling her to file them more. She goes "Can you wait?" At that point im just already pissed like SHIT OK. But i didnt have time and i wanted to get it done as soon as possible hoping it would turn out how I wanted. Towards the end, I can see that my nail was so fat and looked like regular nails. I even told her to file down some more but NOTHING made it better. She had the nerve to ask me if I liked it. I straight up said NO. And she was pissed. Started to talk about how long nail is not good for your first time, its uncomfortable, etc etc. & im like that is not what I showed you. She walks away to get a hot towel and whispers to herself "cant tell me now after I cut everything short". So im like I DID TELL YOU. I STOPPED YOU. YOU TOLD ME TO WAIT. Omg the nerve of this lady. Wasted over an hr just to get this SNS nails that I HATED SO MUCH. She didnt even try to make the situation better. Even as I was leaving, she wanted to ask me if I wanted her card. LIKE REALLY NOW? You think ima take your card? Fanny is so unprofessional and all she cares about is making as much money as she can. You can even tell that her workers dont respect her and everyone who goes there complains. I really dont see why Fanny gets such great reviews. She messed up my nails, PUTS ON TIPS THAT DONT EVEN LOOK LIKE I HAVE TIPS, & my nails are NOT EVEN, didnt even cut my cuticles either and even burned me several times when shaving down my nail. Please dont come here, even if its cheap. If you do, dont get your nails done by Fanny.

New business management and new business name: Magnolia Nail Spa 4 The inside of the shop is still the same as old business Le Charme but it's not the same. Service and quality isn't the same under their old manager Ryan. I personally felt like it was a trap that they continue to use the LeCharme name and website when they had clearly changed. I was confused when I arrived and saw the name change but still gave them a chance as I had booked an appointment via Le Charme website and only had that day to get my nails done before going to a wedding on the West Coast. Also, even though I had an Spa Pedicure appointment for 10AM (opening time) I still had to wait. Other customers came in (either appt or walk in) and were seen first... they also had to call for more Nail technicians to come. I sat at the manicure station flipping through gel color templates waiting for Nail tech to see me. I already choose but waiting, at one point they had forgotten me until someone asked me what I wanted and I had to repeat myself again. I picked a spa pedicure treatment and selected gel as I heard gel last longer. It was my first time getting gel but I wanted to look my best for the wedding I'll be attending. I asked for paraffin wax for my feet and callus treatment. They were confused and said paraffin is already included in the spa package (I remember it is usually for heel only and I wanted for the entire feet) but they insisted it was included and for the entire feet, so I said okay and let them do their thing. Service was decent but my nail tech had rushed and missed a few spot. She didn't apply the polish carefully and throughly. It was like coloring your hair, they always leave a gap from the hairline so you can return for touchup. In my pic, you can see my toes didn't look as nice and pic was taken about 1.5-2hrs later (after appointment, I had quick lunch and went straight home). While I did enjoy the spa pedicure, because I wanted to pamper my feet, she was abit rough at times and rushed it. And no, she didn't apply paraffin wax to the entire feet; just the heel. I was willing to pay extra but they didn't do that. If you don't know, paraffin wax help rehydrate and trap in moisture and it's particularly effective for those who often get calluses to help in removing dead skin, and healing dry patches. It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. It can also minimize spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. When it was time to pay, I thought I would have to shell out more for everything as I didn't know what the actual cost would be. I wanted Spa Pedicure package with Gel Color. Callus Treatment $10, Gel pedicure $55 & Spa Pedicure $45. I had assumed they would charge abit extra for the Gel coloring ontop of the Spa Pedicure package. After I paid and walked out (no receipt was given to me and I had hope to take a pic of the bill but the total was present quickly to me and was out of my view) and walked down the street, the owner lady came out chasing me saying I needed to pay more. I follow back and she said something else was charged to me.. again wasn't able to see the bill and had to trust her word and paid more. I finally left and disappointed later on when I examined my feet at home. I think its time to find a new Nail Salon.

The technician repeatedly focused on the corner of one toenail that appeared completely fine, continuing to poke and cut at the area despite there being no visible issue. She also seemed visibly frustrated throughout the service, sucking her teeth in frustration as she went over this area again and again with the cuticle cutters, which added to the discomfort. Now, 6 days later, I'm experiencing pain and warmth in that toe, which makes me concerned that the excessive cutting has resulted in irritation and may have even caused an ingrown toenail -- not cool, very awkward & disappointing experience. Manicure: The manicure itself was acceptable, but the process felt inconsistent and unstructured. Each hand was treated differently, and tools--specifically the cuticle nipper--were not cleaned during the service, resulting in visible buildup of cuticle cuttings on the tool, which was unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Overall, this experience left me uncomfortable and disappointed, and I wouldn't return.

She then continued at the same pace and pressure. Being heard was simply not on the agenda. The quality of the work matched the attitude. One of my nails had a visible thread of polish hanging off it, clearly about to crack, and when I pointed it out she told me she didn't know what I was talking about and couldn't see anything. She begins using white to draw my French and I ask if she has Pearl white instead of regular white like the picture shows. She said she would do the pearl afterwards. When it comes time for the pearl white, she uses a multicolored glittery color that has no resemblance to the photo I showed. It is seemingly yellow from the angle I was looking at it. Eek! She asked if I liked it and I said it's not like the photo at all, that it's rainbow not pearly white. She told me they don't have the pearly white color. I said to keep the white then, although I definately would have asked for baby pink tips if I knew pearly white wasn't an option. I'm not sure why they didn't tell me they don't have pearly white as an option so I could request another design. I was so frustrated that I showed the photo to 2 people and they both said they could do the design no problem. I walked out with a French manicure that I did not like the look of and was so unhappy. It has been 3 days and now 4 of my nails have chipped on the white tips (just as other reviewers have said). I am shocked and honestly just frustrated I have to spend another $50 somewhere else to replace the brand new manicure I have now.

When I come here I always get Lilly and she's really sweet. I've been here three times…read more Review is based on 12/23/22 visit. I was welcomed warmly and asked what I would like. I opted to go for their special Spa Pedicure with regular manicure. I am happy with both services. Lilly gives a really good pedi. The spa pedicure was nice. She wrapped my legs in a clay mask and covered with warm towels and Saran Wrap to set while she worked on my feet. She gave a nice 15mins leg massage and showed me the timer she set so I would be sure it's 15mins. She did well in removing those pesky little bits of nail that always dig into the side of the big toe... lol I don't know how else to explain it. But Lilly did really good there! The manicure was as expected. She did well and didn't cut me when removing my cuticles. Downside: they charge $1 for quick dry so I had to pay $2 (one for toes one for hands..) which is not a deal breaker for me but I feel like it should just be standard to apply one coat of quick dry to all polish.. but maybe I'm just spoiled cause my usual place includes it with service. They gave me a gift which I thought was sweet and thoughtful. It was a green tea lotion. Not sure if this was only for Xmas or just something they give with Spa pedi. I saw a flyer for "Forever charmed by V" which is a pop up shop that they have where you can get "forever jewelry" while you wait for your nails to dry. I hope I catch that vendor next time they are there. Overall I would come back here again and I would ask for Lilly again. Thank you Lilly!
