Really like this place, it does not seem presentable but the service is great. Kim did my nails and she really paid attention to small details. I had a fill-in and gel manicure for 27. Update 12/13/19: Still love this place. However, it still looks very dingy and shady but I only trust Kim with my nails. Okay so a regular mani is 8 and gel is 25. The regular nail polish has a good variety of colors and brands (opi, Essie, etc...) but most of them are old and kind of expired, like you can see a separation of colors. It's not extremely sanitary, but it's okay. The reason why it's a 3 star is because when the lady did my nails, she cut my cuticle too much (second pic) and it started bleeding and hurting, and it has been hurting for a while. read more

When i get overwhelmed with work i thank God that i can come here on my break, its so close. You can't go wrong with getting a gel manicure for $20. They go for $30 these days. Its been quite the two times ive been here. I didn't have to wait and it only takes 30minutes leaving me with another half hour to chill. One thing that i wish they would do better is the massaging portion. Its soooo funny.....so the lady puts a dab of cream that would moisturize a cuticle on my hand, rubs it once and hits it with a fist, quickly pulls away and gets a hot towel to put on my hands. A-ok. The place is cramped and uncomfortable. But it's cheap. I've gotten a mani and pedi at the same time once. So odd but efficient. I use them when I have no time to get my nails done but I have an event to go to, definitely not for relaxing purposes. The finished product is a bit inconsistent. I walked in to the owner couple talking about money not good business wise. Owner woman rushed through my nails to be able to service the next person and she did not do a great job. One thumb was more matte and the other more glossy due to her not putting shellac on one. I had her fix it. She yelled at me and said it's good you messed it up. I got a gel pedicure here and I was unsatisfied with the service. The lady with the orange pixie cut is the worse. She tries to rush through getting the pedicure done. The UV light was broken and I tried to tell her. She completely disregarded my comment which led to the paint job becoming crinkly. She had to do paint my toes again. In a rush, she got white polish all over my toes. I will be finding a new nail salon after that experience. read more

Horrible. Dirty. They reuse gloves. Talk about you. Christmas decoration in April. I have been going for about half year due to location. I go after work for pedicures and hop on train. I get charged different prices often, depending on the lady who service me. They get upset when you ask them how long the wait is and will call you a name in their language. Once the owner, Kim-lady with short hair, called a lady next to me "black skin man-girl" and I was super annoyed because I can just imagine what they call me. They also get upset if you tip them under 30%. I witnessed the owner getting irritated when a little girl paid her 1$ tip for polish change, which was 6$. They started calling her names in their language and was visible that the mother became embrassed. Disgusting. I will never return. read more

Tried mani and pedi with them several times. Not satisfying experience at all. They are always in a rush and don't care about accuracy: they don't move cuticular completely, as a result they don't cut off all the cuticular, you have to draw their attention to various flaws all the time and they will be responding with a minimum effort, just to finish the procedure as soon as possible. They never apply polish accurately, you always see uneven edges, they don't apply the second color layer exactly above the first one so you get an uneven surface with transparent lines on the sides. They don't apply top cover along the whole nail surface and top edges so your mani will fall down very soon. During the pedi they never even touch your heels above the foot base. The polish line along the cuticular is always with zigzags that irritates me most and you can do nothing with it. So I gave up trying to get a decent quality out of them, I regret wasting time and money. It is cheap but you can't get even a basic quality. When you make remarks that such quality is not acceptable and request a more accurate application at least - they simply ignore you and start talking over their phones. I'm not even talking about the dirtiness of the place, complete absence of customer service and their caddish behavior, their issues with speaking English. I was ready to tolerate everything, I'm not a touchy-feely one and I'm ready to point out every single mistake with politeness and patience, I just wanted a basic manicure and pedicure. So never again. Enough is enough. read more

Come here for a manicure, pedicure & eyebrow wax as I was in the area. Every time I come I witness & experience reuse of pedicure gloves, no washing of the pedicure sink (just a quick rinse), cheap product use, reuse of the waxing stick and ALLERGIES!!! Allergies due to the Christmas decorations they have hanging all year around that have collected enough dust to replicate the decorations using the dust alone. I refuse to have the pedicure & eyebrow wax after witnessing the unsanitary conditions. I do come here on occasion when I'm in the area for a manicure b/c they do a great job (I like the lady in the middle). There's no music, or tv or WiFi. All there is is the middle lady ALWAYS talking on her phone. Not a relaxing environment AT ALL. Best for last minute pop ins. read more

The ladies are sweet and the services are consistently good. I will generally do a mani/pedi which will set you back $15. I was getting my eyebrows waxed here but I started breaking out--it turns out that it was me not the place. I can't get my eyebrows waxed at all anymore--sensitive skin...sad monkeys. My mom still gets her brows waxed here and she's always happy. I like my local hot spots and this has become my treat every couple weeks. They have a decent selection of nail polish and I can always find the right color for myself. I've been going to this place almost every week for a manicure, and every time I had to go elsewhere I always end up coming back to redo my nails here. I'm a regular at this nail salon because I feel like their prices are fair and their service is great. Some places offer mani/pedis at low prices but do a poor job. This place has consistently proved to be a contender, as I have never had a bad experience here. The ladies always do a great job with my mani pedis (even when they're super busy) and it's the only place that I trust to wax.
