A great local spot to get your nails done. I was passing by the area and found they were opened on a holiday. The gel removal was thoroughly done. I also got a regular pedicure which was great. The place is clean and organized. The bathroom is well maintained. The staff are super friendly and patient. I felt welcomed and you can feel everyone got along. This place is OK it's bare minimum. Their pedicures are much better than their manicures, but honestly, it does feel like a bit rushed.

Spent $60 for cheap and bendable gel X nails and the nail polish comes off after a day. NAILS LASTED A DAY!???? After the service the nail tech was desperately begging for a tip and would keep pushing. The nail salon vibe was decent and just a standard nail salon. But how is it that the nails dont even last 1 day and cost $60 and the nails itself are just so cheap. Never coming back! I hope they reflect on this review. read more

I booked a same day appointment within 2 hours. I was a late for my 5 PM appointment past 15 minutes and they still accepted me. My nail tech helped me choose the best suited nail color because I could not figure out what nude looks best with my skin color. I got a pedicure and a manicure and they were so helpful and kind. They always asked if I was okay and if the water temp was good. They are also very meticulous which made me feel cared for. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

This is my favorite nail salon in the Bensonhurst area! Their prices, customer service, and ambience are all so amazing! May helped me with my nails, and she was so attentive and cared about my nail health. I've been looking to do milky white nails for SO long now, and this is the only salon that had the color!! I been here a few times with my daughter. I liked them that's why we gone back... today, I took my husband there to get a hour fully body massage and a pedicure done with my daughter. However, today was a huge disappointment! I understand that my daughter is a child (7 years old) but doesn't mean they can just take her pedicure not seriously, especially 7 years old pedicure is $18 dollars which is $2 dollars difference between adult full pedicure. I posted some pictures of my daughter's toe, if I paid $18 dollars for her, I expect her polish to look it was polished by a professional, not look like that she was trying to polish it herself! I gave them 2 stars because this is first time that happened, my pedicure looked fine plus the massage we got were fine too.. I can't say it was amazing but it was fine. Otherwise, I wouldn't even give a star. Ohhh..I didn't realize her polish was so terrible until I was checking to see if her polish was dry so I decided to tell the manager (after we paid) I don't want her to feel that I am trying to get something from her , she did offer to fix it but I refused because We were there for so long that I just wanted to get out there. ** that was great management** Will I go back? Called to check if they are available to take me last minute an hour before they closed. They accommodated me and did not rush the job. Will continue to come to this shop and I might have found my go to! -------- Great variety of color selections (gel and regular), nice variety of different services/packages, pretty and elegant decor, clean, and friendly staffs. First time trying this place! Gotta tell you how much i love Maggie The last place that I went to messed up my nails. I had a gel powdered and Maggie had to remove it for me. While removing my previous nail polish, she did my eyebrows and upper lip wAx for me. The only downside was she also did my chin... though i didn't request for it. So this place is absolutely adorable!! But the service is pretty bland. I was meeting a friend around her apartment and had sometime before she got home. I she recommended this place for my nails, which I was due for. I called about an hr and half before heading out and they said they can accommodate. I was about 10-15 late getting in, the train from the city was delayed. But they still saw me. I asked for a regular pedi and gel manicure. The regular pedi took over an hour!! Which was ridiculous considering I told her I only had 1.5 hours for both and I suggested just doing a regular mani to save time. She finally finished my mediocre pedicure and it took her over 20 mins to take my old gel off. Even though my nails were soaking for over an hr. Needless to say, I ran out of time and told her to do a reg manicure. This is when I noticed she filed my strong nails down paper thin! Whatever! Asked her for oil and wrap for my toes so I don't mess them up in my one block walk. She insisted I didn't need it. Guess what I did. I found this place on Yelp and figured I'd give them a try. I absolutely loved my nails. They did a beautiful job. The lady even suggested the design I wanted was ugly but still did the design and it came out wonderful. They pay attention to detail. The manicurist took her time and did not rush the design. It's super clean in there and the workers are very friendly. I got gel with a two tone shift pink ombré. My inspiration was Nezuko's nails from demon slayer. I will definitely be coming back. She didn't want to fix the first toe when I said the tip was too thick. I received an attitude although she did paint it again. It's also not professionally done, I could've done this myself. I assume they're not getting enough customers during this time so I still tipped more than 20%, which I regret doing. Horrible. Came in for a pedicure today with my sister and it was not busy at all. So we were seen right away. For a $20 pedicure in a fairly nice setting, you expect the technicians to be decent. But our pedicures took literally only 5 mins!!!!! I've never had a pedicure done that fast. For a place that isn't busy at all, I did not expect them to rush us out. When I got up to pay, my sister's mean faced looking lady ran up to me to wait for her tips. Very ridiculous. I felt that we were treated unfairly compared to the two customers that were there. I also picked up two nail polishes to try out but my technician didn't let me try it out. She just told me to pick either the lighter or darker one based on what I like. The only thing I personally concern is cold inside on winter time especially when seating with naked feet to dry them off, but they maintain to put heater next to you. So, its negligible. read more

It's hasn't even been 2 weeks and I find the gel lifting at the corners of my nails. Disappointed because I spent $50 more than any previous salon I had been to in the past. Highly recommend this place! I came in with a set of acrylics on already and they did great in cutting them shorter and reshaping them. Although they do not do acrylics at this salon, they were able to help me fill in my acrylics using dip powder. The atmosphere inside was really nice and calm too. Everything was also sanitized well. Everyone in the salon was super sweet and knowledgeable. Prices are also really reasonable. 10/10 would come back! read more

Just came to this nail salon with my nieces. Looks nice from the outside but not inside. We repeatedly asked for the water and soaking in tub but they failed to do so. Then told us we didn't ask them! We noticed no water and said we didn't tell them. I don't know what the rush was but we won't be coming back. They didnt apologize. Stay away! read more

She was very professional and spoke in a very calm and low voice to respect the spa environment. The environment was clean, soothing with calming music. The low prices of the spa packages made me a bit weary but I ended up selecting the 3rd package which consisted of mani/pedi, 30min massage and classic basic facial. The woman who attended to me was very polite, professional and did an excellent job. My massage was longer than advertised and my facial put me to sleep. I also think she did a better job w my nails than the first woman who helped me two wks ago. My appointment was at 1230 and after all was said and done I was out the door a little after 4. I appreciate that she didnt try to hustle me with additonal pricing and whe I was rung up, my total was exactly what it should have been. Best 100 bucks I ever spent! read more

I've gone to do my nails at the location next to this one but their no longer open so I came here instead. First off the place is really beautiful. Very serene and beautifully decorated. That comes with a price though, $20 for a pedi is expensive in my book especially since your not in the city. The first time I came here the girl who did my mani/pedi was alright, slight rude and probably having a bad day. Dont take it out on your customer though. I sat over to dry my nails which feels like a person blowing air that's how slow their machines are. She yelled across the room when she saw me put my sneakers on saying my nails cannot be dry and wouldn't fix it if it got ruined. Wait, what? Don't yell at me like a child. Im not your friend. The second time I came was a few days ago. The regular place I go to when in this area was still closed. Bummer. I only came because I got a massage and facial nearby and needed a pedi. The girl who assisted me was nice, a little too nice. I was a tad uncomfortable. She kept talking to me and pushing me get a facial done. I told her I just got one done and she insisted to know where I went, what kind of facial I got and how much it cost! She later said they provide the same service too. Their way more expensive. After I was done she began to rub my shoulders which I know a lot of nail salons do after your done. This was different. She kept looking at me in a way that made me think she was coming on to me and moaned saying she does massages. I was so weirded out and told her I just got one done before coming here. She then charged me and asked if I will put the tip on the card which I did. Tips are voluntary right? I would've given her a verbal tip instead. This lady was very pushy and made me feel uncomfortable the whole time. I came to relax and she kept asking me 99 questions like she was 50 cent. Moral of this story, lovely space but I won't be back. Good candy but still won't be back. I'll go back to my regular mom and pop which do an amazing job for $15 in my neighborhood. read more

This is my favorite nail salon in all of Brooklyn. It is a family run business, so the staff are all friendly and truly personable. It's a relaxing and great nail salon. Probably in my 27 years of existence, the best that I've ever been to. 1-Amazing service + staff. The staff really go above and beyond. If you are wearing shoes, they will put rose oil and saran wrap your toes before you put your shoes on so that you don't muss them up! 2-Calm environment + relaxing, clean atmosphere - Feels like a spa and my mom has even fallen asleep while getting a pedicure here ;P 3-Great nails, I've gotten gel, regular and every time the nails are fantastic. 4-They really treat you like family here. Every time I go, they know my name and we catch up even if I haven't been in a while here. Go! Way better than any of the others in 18th ave, and much better priced than CoCo. read more

This place is horrible and is a waste of money. Every time I go there to do gel manicure, it falls out or crack in only a week or two. usually gel last you a month, but apparently it only lasted me less than 2 weeks. The first time I went, the lady who did my nail was nice so I decided to come back. The second time I came, I used their nail polish remover to remove my gel and THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE NAIL POLISH REMOVER. I went to so many nail salons and NEVER ONCE been charged for using their nail polish remover and they did a horrible job. I was definitely not satisfied with my service and I will not be coming back to this place. I rather go to silver nails that is few blocks away. read more

I'm here for a quick pedicure and this place was close to my house. The ambience and interior design is what caught my attention. I was welcomed by one of the staff and guided to my pedicure chair. Another staff, Amy came to me and did my pedicure. I wish I can give this place 0 stars.. I came here with 40 minutes till closing. I asked politely if there was enough time to do a pedicure. They could've easily said no, not enough time but they insisted I came in. When it was time to do my pedicure, Amy tried to sell me other packages. That didn't bother me as majority of the places do the same thing. What bother me was she rushed through my pedicure!! She was about to clean my toes with gloves she used with the previous customer. I immediately asked her to use new gloves. She didn't immediately took off her old gloves and changed into new gloves. Then She started rubbing base coat on my toes really quickly. She didn't even paint it!! She only did one coat on my toes and two coats on my big toes. She ended with again, rubbing top coat on my toes and not painting it. In the beginning she was nice but she stopped being that smiley and welcoming person after I asked her to add an extra coat. After the pedicure, she guided me to the drying table where she threw my shoe on the floor!! I didn't ask you to take my shoes to begin with! Sorry you felt you need to hold my shoes! Not only that, during the pedicure she asked me where I was from and such. Then began to make racial statements on how Koreans have smaller eyes and I had big eyes. Now, I'm not Korean but I found it very uncomfortable and offensive. When paying, she let me know it was $20 for regular pedicure with 50cents tips. I said that's fine. She came back and stood there while I was about to write tips down. All of a sudden she said cash would be better for tips. I said I don't have any cash. She didn't say anything but stared at my paper but I can see she was getting angry. I continued to say I don't have any cash, but I can put a little more on the tips if it's the government tax you're worried about. She didn't say anything for awhile and her face turned really angry. I just stared at her she finally said ok. Reminder: It's not necessary for me to give her tips. I ended up giving her $5 tips. I didn't finish drying my nails and she already left angrily. If she didn't want to do my pedicure, she should've have said something. The rest of the staff attended me and put quick dry on my toes to let it dry faster since I was wearing close toed shoes. My toes weren't dry enough and they still let me leave. I walked home for a block and my big toes are both ruined!! I'm fixing it at home but I'm really annoyed they treated me like that. They could've easily said we're closing, no more customers. I don't want to ruin other people's business but I definitely don't recommend this place to anymore. Just moved and testing out the nail salons in the neighborhood, so far MZ Nail Spa did not disappoint. My nail technician, a younger girl did a pretty good job but she did push my cuticles back a bit too much. Other than that, she did a really good job, nail was painted edge to edge and it was applied really smooth. They do have a stamp card which you get a stamp for every $20 spent and after 10 stamps, you receive $10 off your next service. Most salons do have a rewards card which offers you a free regular mani but since I only do gel or powder gel, this might work out better. read more

I went on a week night, at around 5:30p. Only 1 person was in there getting a pedicure. I got a regular manicure. As soon as I sat down the Asian lady giving the guy a pedicure started speaking chinese to the manicurist (Mya) sitting me down. They all looked at me (including the asian guy getting a pedicure)..so I asked "is something wrong??" my manicurist replied with a fake smile "no no it's ok, sit sit" why do these nail salons do that stereotypical sh*t?! Very rude & obviously something was said about me, what reason I don't know! Anyway she didn't soak my fingers, isn't that the basic thing to do? l'm used to that in other nail salons. I also have tough cuticles so it annoyed me that she was pushing back my cuticles dry especially coming in from the cold! As she was doing my nails l noticed no prices were posted up on the walls like most salons, at least not for regular manicures or pedicures so l asked how much for regular manicure she said $12. I thought that didn't sound right especially for a REGULAR (basic) manicure..more than the other places on 18th ave or other salons in Brooklyn..anyway she did a decent job except for cutting my cuticle where it kept bleeding, at least she apologized a few times & put some "blue solution" on it, to where l had to ask what it was (WHY DON'T THEY ASK IF IT's OK FIRST??! How do they know the customer isn't allergic to something?) So she gave me the bottle to read. l guess it was some sort of alcohol, it was in Chinese & and l think 1 English word l never heard of but seemed to be some kind of disinfectant? After l was done..the next day l was curious to see if that price was right, l called and asked how much for a regular manicure, the woman said $10! What a BITCH! I gave her a good tip too even though she clearly was already giving herself a tip, or a head start on it..so after that, this place is DEAD to me! I don't appreciate getting cheated! read more
