I've been trying to find a nail salon in Staten Island and decided to try M style Nail and Spa. I arrived here on a Sunday after calling and making an appointment. Upon arrival, I noticed the place was busy. I sat and waited for about 5 minutes before I was called. The girl (can't remember her name) expertly soaked my nails (SNS) and showed me a variety of colors. I was impressed by the wide selection of colors. She took her time and was thorough. Joe (the only male technician there) does a WONDERFUL job! My nails last for 3 weeks because of him. They don't chip or break and he'll do exactly what you ask for. Last time I got acrylic tips with ombré gel powder on top. He did them perfectly. Even one time, someone blocked their parking lot driveway and I couldn't get out and he went store to store asking who's car was blocking the driveway. He's a gentleman. It's very clean and everyone is really nice. The lady who did my nails knew what she was doing and tried her best to make me happy with my nails and the price (I tried to negotiate to lower the price). The only reason why I would give this place 4/5 stars is because it felt rushed, there are a lot of crooked mistakes such as the nails themselves, the French, and I asked for a golden evil eye but she couldn't even get the simple design right but even when I simplified it she struggled with that. I'm a perfectionist so it may look good to someone else but I see the little mistakes. Lastly, I paid $70 for this (originally $73) I feel like that's unnecessary. This lady was nice enough to offer me free repair the next time I go. I wouldn't suggest this place for designs. read more

I've struggled with finding a place in SI since I moved here a year ago and I'm sooo glad I found M Style! The staff has all the safety protocols (double masks on, plexiglass, etc) and they're friendly and efficient. My technician was pretty thorough with my nails and recreated the design I wanted from a photo. The price was pretty good too, it all came down to $30 (not counting the tip). I'm not from the area but was in desperate need for getting dip powder at a reasonable price while on the east coast. I searched high and low for a place was reading so many reviews and trying to find prices without calling and it was literally such a pain. But, finally called her and decided to give it a try. This place was great I love my nails and after almost 3 weeks they are still going strong as they should! If I'm ever in the area I will most definitely be back! Dip manicure is $40 with tips is $45 and there's an extra charge for using a card so I'd recommend using cash! read more

Tiffany was super attentive and was helpful throughout the process. The prices are average. $8 for a regular manicure. $25 for a gel manicure(and they don't file down your nail before they apply the gel unlike every other salon I've been too) $20 pedicure & $25 mani pedi Mon-Wed. I never have to wait when i come here, and the staff is friendly. They play music and it's a very relaxing environment, no yelling across the room by staff like there is in many other salons in the area. The customer service here is impeccable, and they always take their time to do my nails exactly how I picture them. The other day I got powder and a nail chipped a few days later. I was dreading calling them and asking them to fix it as I'm used to shitty service in other salons. Tiffany who I believe is the owner went above and beyond to accommodate me, and fix the nail. Literally, this was the worst pedicure I have ever had in my life. It lasted not even 20 minutes; I was in and out. The place is clean, which is always great, but that's about the only positive thing i can say. I sat down, and my massage chair was broken, which sucks because the massage is the best part of a pedicure in my opinion. Everyone was super rude, & the girl that did my pedicure legit did nothing for my feet besides my cuticles. She didn't massage my legs, or feet AT ALL! She also filed the top of my nails, which I hate; not good for your nails in my opinion. She then gave me the bill, which she said was $20, which was great because the sign said $30, so I was pissed thinking it was gonna be more. I asked if I could add tip on the card because I didn't have cash. I honestly don't know if she did it for me or not, because when she handed me the bill, it was $22. When I tried to ask, she didn't get it, and just kept trying to get me to sign it. I ended up just adding a tip to that price, because I had no idea if she did or not. Overall, terrible place to waste your money at if you're looking for a nice, relaxing pedicure. read more

Got pedicures with a friend. They were not bad, But nothing to rave over. I tipped the women $10 for my $20 pedi. She never gave me a massage while I dried my toes. I was really looking forward to that. The massage during the pedi was eh.. I was just expecting more enthusiasm and quality based on the reviews given for this nail spa. I wont be returning. The plus- its clean, quiet and there's parking in the back. Not the kind of place if you're expecting the typical massage with a pedi or he shoulder massage when you dry your nails.
