They like to make prices on top of their head. They like to overprice on top of that. The girls don't know how to do designs if you give them a simple design is too much for them and they charge for every little thing or we say no because then again if you say yes, it comes with a price so back massage comes with a prize. Three valid reasons why I won't go back: 1. The salon is gross. Why is the pedicure drain going into the sink you wash your hands in? Theres visible mold growing in the sink and drain. Could you assume it may be in the pipes and the water you're using? Really gross thought. I didn't want to use the sink but the lady was telling me to wash my hands and i was kind of scared of her long story short i had pink eye by the end of the night. Could have gotten it at the lash salon, but pink eye can be caused by foot and mouth disease. So it's suspicious. 2. There was a communication gap with the woman doing my nails and she was insulted by what she perceived I was saying instead of what I meant, and she did that stereotypical thing of talking about me in her language. 3. Since there was a communication gap, I left with a set I didn't like because i perceived the environment as hostile and I wanted to avoid conflict I gave them three stars because I was late. Not sure if that caused the hostility? The set was $43 before tax and i gave a $7 dollar tip which was a 16.28% tip to make up for my possible inconvenience. Honestly, if they cleaned their sinks / pipes better, had better bedside manner and had at least one interpreter there, you'd be getting a decent bang for your buck. I personally would pay double for all those things above and a more modern salon. Im never listening to yelp reviews again! And ppl kept saying its clean. Clean where?? read more

I've been here a few times in the past few months and it's always a great experience. The salon is very clean, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable and they do a lovely job. I especially love the short massage they give at the end while my nails dry. This is quickly becoming my favorite nail salon on the island. read more

I started going here because it was closer to my home, I gave them 3 chances, the 1st time it was ok, no real complaints, other then a lil expensive & the next time I figured they just was having an off day but NOPE after 3x I won't go back nor will I recommend anyone Waste their time or money, this place is Over priced, low quality work. I gave 2 stars because the massages are great. I always get the same services Fill in/gel and gel/ deluxe pedicure when u pay $105 you expect your nails to last longer than a week without lifting and chipping etc, etc.. not to mention another $10 for the extra massage time and the 2 different people work on you as 1 does your nails and another does your pedicure and both expect a nice healthy tip so I never walked out of there spending less than $125, to last only a week, NO Thank you I'll go back to my nail salon in Bklyn.. read more

Found it by accident and so happy I did. Friendly environment, clean, pedicures are great they also have a variety of spa pedicures for $40 which I will probably try next time I go. But with that said, the regular pedicures feel like a mini spa pedicures as they do wrap your heels with some type of oil, the wrap stays on until your nails have been nail polished. Then I tried the 10 min massage oh my cherries on top. So day 1 one hands down. Pedicure, manicure and 10 min massage all for $40. I'll be going back for sure read more

I came here due to convenience..I do the SNS acrylic dip which usually lasts 2-3 weeks ..my nails have chipped already as you can see ..it's only been 4-5 days tops! Never going here again ..they only have 3 "nail techs" and I say that as a joke because they cnt do manicures for shit ! This place is really not that noticeable from the outside but they're one of the best on the island. I went there one day in a last minute rush after getting turned down at my regular salon cause I didn't have an appointment and it was packed. I walked in and I didn't expect a lot because the place looked kind of empty compared to what I'm used to. But WOW. They were impeccable. They were unbelievably nice and they did such a good job on my nails. Plus they were inexpensive. I left so satisfied I don't even bother trying to go to my old place in a rush anymore. I walked in the place seemed clean. I asked them if they removed acrylic tips and they managed to destroy my nails and didn't pick up on I caught a little fungus on my toe and painted over it and didn't stop to at least point it out. What got me very heated on this place was they claimed they knew how to remove acrylic tips and instead the lady was drilling my nail bed that I lost so much on my nail on top as far as my actual nail bed. I want to save any woman the trouble of going to a so called reputable place for nails. This is how you can catch diseases if the salons don't thoroughly sterile equipment. Believe me this review is not the only place I am reporting this. I found an article recently on someone catching HIV from a nail salon so please be quick to review all salons before you settle for a salon you think looks clean. read more
