    Dip powder set
    Fa M.

Paid $73 for this, somehow. Had to shorten and re-shape the thumbs at home as they were easily half a centimeter longer than the other nails. Was told there would be an up charge for the length, which is odd, because these aren't that long. Was also upcharged for the matte topcoat and the fact I had to ask the tech to redo the plastic tips themselves because they were cut too short the first time (she cut them into the stiletto shape without doing a length check first). Overall, not a great experience. I was there for over 2 hours just to leave with a set that looks bulky and rushed and I kind of hate. The salon itself was nice, though, as was everyone in it. EDIT: changed this from 3 stars to 2. After being told the nails needed to be this thick and bulky to support the length, two have broken within a week and a half and one of my thumbs is badly chipped. I would have understood and respected being told the tech didn't know how to do dip powder or didn't think it was a good idea, instead I got an attitude and paid a premium for shitty looking nails of uneven lengths that I had to fix the shape of when I got home.

First time here and I will definitely be returning. I like getting funky designs on my nails but it's hard to find places that can do the inspo pictures I bring. I used to go to Tina Green Nail Salon on Graham Ave but I've since moved to Bay Ridge so I was in need of a new nail salon. I'm super happy I found this spot. Everyone was so nice. Ada applied and shaped my acrylic nails and she did a fantastic job! I also have sensitive cuticles and nail techs often make my cuticles bleed when filing but Ada was amazing and didn't irritate my cuticles at all! No excess acrylic under my nails, perfect shape and thickness. Sunny took over to do the design and she was great. It looks just like the picture I showed her. I definitely recommend this place and I will be returning again and again!

Beautiful job by Shadow and Ada!

I loved everything about this nail salon; from the lovely interior designs, the classical music playing, the cleanliness, exemplary service, and COVID precautionary services, everything was up to par with or exceeded my expectations! Shadoe did my powder dip manicure and regular pedicure. She was very friendly and displayed a calm and comforting aura. She was very gentle and efficient. She took her time perfecting each cuticle, each nail. While I had only opted for a regular pedicure, I was treated as though I asked for a deluxe one! Aside from the usual foot location massages, I also had these lovely warming pads wrapped around the heels of my feelings to enhance the soothing and tranquil pedicure experience further! Ada does special nail designs. Ada was also kind and just as articulate as Shadoe. She could replicate the floral arrangement I had desired on my nails and even replaced the gems I didn't want with cute white dots to make my nails look close to the image I had presented! I genuinely applaud the excellent customer service, as well as those relaxing hand, foot, and back massages. I especially loved Moko's Salon because I didn't feel rushed like I usually do at other salons. This salon made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for, especially after Shadoe sweetly thanked me for allowing her to work with me! Her comment was genuine and considerate. I'd return here for another spa experience anytime! In light of COVID-19, temperature checks are required upon entry, pedicure and manicure stations are marked with an "X" to enforce social distancing, and dividers are placed to limit contact between patrons and nail technicians. Hand sanitizers are placed at all manicure stations as well for patrons' convenience.

Gel nails - infected because the nail tech nipped me.

I was serviced by Yoyo and I was nipped on the nails. Currently incredibly painful and inflamed probably infected. I am incredibly dissatisfied and disappointed since these nails are supposed to be my vacation nails. The photos are 24 hours later but they were double the size yesterday, incredibly inflamed and red with a throbbing pain. I have my other pinky for reference to compare. The gel is also blotchy and streaky after 3 layers. It is also very very dull.

Came here a few days ago without an appointment and was taken in immediately. They have enough staff to take care of everyone. Acrylic tips is 35 which is reasonable. I also got a color change for my toes and that cost 10$. The place is very clean and Nancy was professional. Will definitely call this my nails salon from now on.

Loved my nail tech! She took her time to make sure everything looked good and was really sweet. They came out great. Quiet and no frills but good vibes.

They slay every time. I came in very last minute yesterday and I was the last one to leave, they treated me well and they understood the assignment. Love coming here with a vision because I know they can execute it.

Since day 1 (in Hollis Queens) & going on 10 years (in Brooklyn), Moko Nails has been my #1 & only go to place to get my nails, pedicures and eyebrows done. I will forever follow Ada to wherever she goes. And let's talk about the pedicures and all the other services that Moko Nails provide, every single one of the employees in there are amazing at their craft. You definitely will NOT be disappointed or dissatisfied after leaving Moko Nails & Spa.

Happy I came here and tried this salon out. Ive been looking for a decent salon close to my neighborhood (sunset park) that does good full sets that are NOT overpriced or use cheap products. I loveeee them!! see the pix urself. Nice service, beautiful decor and perfect pricing. I got acrylic full set w/ gel and a regular pedicure ($35+$15+$20). Will come back!

I've been going to Moko Nail & Spa for a few years and it's always a great experience. I love that Ada is always on top of her work and is an awesome nail tech. She listens to what you want and puts her spin on it, which I love. I remember when I did my nails with her for the first time and it was a pink chrome that I became obsessed with. I have even gone to other nail salons and I go back to Ada because she's amazing and cares about my nails. Along with her husband Jason and the employees at the salon are super nice and give a stellar service. I assure that you won't regret going to Moko Nail & Spa!

Gel mani with chipped nail and lifting at the top

Update: Came here on 9/6/19 for regular pedi and possible gel or SnS, made appt with Ada. Upon walking in, I don't see Ada and they said to pick out my color. They have have wall panels of polish on both sides of the shop which is hard to pick out the color I wanted so I asked one of the girls for help to match what I wanted on Pinterest and she basically brushed me off and tell me to do it myself. After finishing the pedi, the lady that did my pedi (don't know her name because she didn't introduced herself nor wore a name tag) asked if I wanted a mani and I said, yes, I called earlier to make a mani appt with Ada and that set her off a little. Pedi was just alright this time. Fast forward, to getting out of the pedi chair, she didn't help me pull down my pant cuffs (raining outside) nor help me bring my things over to the mani station. On top of that, I almost slipped with the slippers they give you after your pedi. Mani: I showed a picture to Ada regarding what I want off Pinterest and asked if gel or powder was better and she suggested gel, okay, no problem. My problem was that I spent about two hours with a good portion with my hands under UV light WITHOUT any protective gloves provided. Ada would paint my every two nails and made me put it under UV, mind you with no set timer. At one point, one of my hands were in there until the machine itself timed out! A week later, one of my nails chipped and I was super cautious on what I did with my nails to prevent that from happening. Sadly to say, my gel nails didn't last more than two weeks, they were chipping and lifting at the top Well on my way to find another nail salon...

Awesome little nail salon. Got a full acrylic set done by Kiko. She did a great job and gave me exactly what I wanted. The salon is very clean and comfortable. They even give you a quick shoulder rub after your nails are done. The staff and owner are super friendly. Prices are reasonable for Bay Ridge. Overall great experience. Will be making this my new nail spot.

New business management and new business name: Magnolia Nail Spa 4 The inside of the shop is still the same as old business Le Charme but it's not the same. Service and quality isn't the same under their old manager Ryan. I personally felt like it was a trap that they continue to use the LeCharme name and website when they had clearly changed. I was confused when I arrived and saw the name change but still gave them a chance as I had booked an appointment via Le Charme website and only had that day to get my nails done before going to a wedding on the West Coast. Also, even though I had an Spa Pedicure appointment for 10AM (opening time) I still had to wait. Other customers came in (either appt or walk in) and were seen first... they also had to call for more Nail technicians to come. I sat at the manicure station flipping through gel color templates waiting for Nail tech to see me. I already choose but waiting, at one point they had forgotten me until someone asked me what I wanted and I had to repeat myself again. I picked a spa pedicure treatment and selected gel as I heard gel last longer. It was my first time getting gel but I wanted to look my best for the wedding I'll be attending. I asked for paraffin wax for my feet and callus treatment. They were confused and said paraffin is already included in the spa package (I remember it is usually for heel only and I wanted for the entire feet) but they insisted it was included and for the entire feet, so I said okay and let them do their thing. Service was decent but my nail tech had rushed and missed a few spot. She didn't apply the polish carefully and throughly. It was like coloring your hair, they always leave a gap from the hairline so you can return for touchup. In my pic, you can see my toes didn't look as nice and pic was taken about 1.5-2hrs later (after appointment, I had quick lunch and went straight home). While I did enjoy the spa pedicure, because I wanted to pamper my feet, she was abit rough at times and rushed it. And no, she didn't apply paraffin wax to the entire feet; just the heel. I was willing to pay extra but they didn't do that. If you don't know, paraffin wax help rehydrate and trap in moisture and it's particularly effective for those who often get calluses to help in removing dead skin, and healing dry patches. It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. It can also minimize spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. When it was time to pay, I thought I would have to shell out more for everything as I didn't know what the actual cost would be. I wanted Spa Pedicure package with Gel Color. Callus Treatment $10, Gel pedicure $55 & Spa Pedicure $45. I had assumed they would charge abit extra for the Gel coloring ontop of the Spa Pedicure package. After I paid and walked out (no receipt was given to me and I had hope to take a pic of the bill but the total was present quickly to me and was out of my view) and walked down the street, the owner lady came out chasing me saying I needed to pay more. I follow back and she said something else was charged to me.. again wasn't able to see the bill and had to trust her word and paid more. I finally left and disappointed later on when I examined my feet at home. I think its time to find a new Nail Salon.

The technician repeatedly focused on the corner of one toenail that appeared completely fine, continuing to poke and cut at the area despite there being no visible issue. She also seemed visibly frustrated throughout the service, sucking her teeth in frustration as she went over this area again and again with the cuticle cutters, which added to the discomfort. Now, 6 days later, I'm experiencing pain and warmth in that toe, which makes me concerned that the excessive cutting has resulted in irritation and may have even caused an ingrown toenail -- not cool, very awkward & disappointing experience. Manicure: The manicure itself was acceptable, but the process felt inconsistent and unstructured. Each hand was treated differently, and tools--specifically the cuticle nipper--were not cleaned during the service, resulting in visible buildup of cuticle cuttings on the tool, which was unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Overall, this experience left me uncomfortable and disappointed, and I wouldn't return.

She then continued at the same pace and pressure. Being heard was simply not on the agenda. The quality of the work matched the attitude. One of my nails had a visible thread of polish hanging off it, clearly about to crack, and when I pointed it out she told me she didn't know what I was talking about and couldn't see anything. I could see it. And sure enough, by the end of the same day, that nail had already cracked and was looking overgrown. Same-day results like that tell you everything you need to know. I asked for powder gel and asked if the French tips would be UV gel, she said yes. Then she leaves and I'm greeted by another manicurist. I ask her if she is comfortable with the design I show her a picture, she said yes no problem. I say great! She begins using white to draw my French and I ask if she has Pearl white instead of regular white like the picture shows. She said she would do the pearl afterwards. When it comes time for the pearl white, she uses a multicolored glittery color that has no resemblance to the photo I showed. It is seemingly yellow from the angle I was looking at it. Eek! She asked if I liked it and I said it's not like the photo at all, that it's rainbow not pearly white. She told me they don't have the pearly white color. I said to keep the white then, although I definately would have asked for baby pink tips if I knew pearly white wasn't an option. I'm not sure why they didn't tell me they don't have pearly white as an option so I could request another design. I was so frustrated that I showed the photo to 2 people and they both said they could do the design no problem. I walked out with a French manicure that I did not like the look of and was so unhappy. It has been 3 days and now 4 of my nails have chipped on the white tips (just as other reviewers have said). I am shocked and honestly just frustrated I have to spend another $50 somewhere else to replace the brand new manicure I have now.

When I come here I always get Lilly and she's really sweet. I've been here three times…read more Review is based on 12/23/22 visit. I was welcomed warmly and asked what I would like. I opted to go for their special Spa Pedicure with regular manicure. I am happy with both services. Lilly gives a really good pedi. The spa pedicure was nice. She wrapped my legs in a clay mask and covered with warm towels and Saran Wrap to set while she worked on my feet. She gave a nice 15mins leg massage and showed me the timer she set so I would be sure it's 15mins. She did well in removing those pesky little bits of nail that always dig into the side of the big toe... lol I don't know how else to explain it. But Lilly did really good there! The manicure was as expected. She did well and didn't cut me when removing my cuticles. Downside: they charge $1 for quick dry so I had to pay $2 (one for toes one for hands..) which is not a deal breaker for me but I feel like it should just be standard to apply one coat of quick dry to all polish.. but maybe I'm just spoiled cause my usual place includes it with service. They gave me a gift which I thought was sweet and thoughtful. It was a green tea lotion. Not sure if this was only for Xmas or just something they give with Spa pedi. I saw a flyer for "Forever charmed by V" which is a pop up shop that they have where you can get "forever jewelry" while you wait for your nails to dry. I hope I catch that vendor next time they are there. Overall I would come back here again and I would ask for Lilly again. Thank you Lilly!
