    Gel manicure with Essie
    Dana M.

Personally I think Latoue is the best nail salon in Bay Ridge. Latoue is very clean and tools are freshly disinfected before use. The color selection is excellent for both regular polish and gel. I like that the salon is quiet with no TVs flashing and only appropriately low volume spa music. I made an appointment for a Saturday at 2:45 and after choosing my color was seated promptly. The pedicure was so relaxing I almost dozed off. The manicurist adds gel beads (?) to the water so your feet are swimming in a squishy; luxurious pool of warmth. After the pedicure I had a gel manicure. Helen, my manicurist today was keen to detail and made sure I was happy with the nail shape and color along the way. She gave her perfessional opinion when I asked and was efficient without rushing. I took a picture of this bottle color because I loved it so much (Essie gel in #15 "well collectected.") I'll be back in a few weeks to refresh my gel mani! Thanks Latoue.

I love this place! It's upper clean and not so pricey! They did a great job with my gel manicure w. cat eye! They gave me a massage and a treatment glove after!

Got a mani & Pedi, walked in and was taken care of immediately. The salon is very clean, service is great. Jenny did my nails, but I had to stop and let Jennifer touch them up as I was doing a cat eye design and Jenny seemed to be struggling a bit. Overall I think I've found a new place to get my nails done. I would recommend and will be returning. They have a lot of color options

I had the most wonderful experience at this salon. Im extremely appreciative of how serious they are about keeping their customers and themselves safe ! My shoes were sprayed down, I was asked to sanitize and my temperature was taken. There are clear barriers all over for separation and mats to place our shoes while getting a pedicure . And wow ! Every time a customer left the chair; every part of the area was sanitized and thoroughly wiped down. Pedicure : I got a standard pedicure which included orange jelly , amazing foot care and a nice massage. May was my nail technician . She took her time and gave extra care to my cuticles which I find to be very rare In salons . It didn't feel rushed and I enjoyed every minute of the pedicure. Gel manicure : Jennifer did my manicure although she did say that she specializes in acrylic and longer nails, I was extremely happy with how she took care of me. She provided my service with a sterile set of tools and gloves to protect my hands from the UV light . She took her time, was very neat, gave my cuticles some extra love and made great suggestions to what would look nicer on me. I trusted her advice and I couldn't be any happier. Oh and the shoulder rub while my nails were drying was AMAZING ! I signed up for a membership which is 1 point every dollar you spend. Then you get rewards like a free gel mani ! That extra $5 was definitely worth it and I will definitely be coming back . Oh ! And while leaving I received a keratin hand mask which was such a nice additive to the great service. Everyone was so welcoming and after the horror stories , I'm glad I found this place. My gel French mani was $43 and my pedi was $24 ( I may be 1or two Dollars off ) not the cheapest but not the most expensive either ! The service was very worth it!

This is one of my go-to salons! I've been coming here for about 3 ish years and I'm still very satisfied with the quality and service. The salon is very cute, clean and always has a calm relaxing playlist on. They used to offer water and hot tea pre covid. The employees are always polite and they do an amazing gel mani. I have gotten a powder manicure here once but it was not so great, so i just stick to either regular gel or plain polish when i come here. My nails always come out looking exactly how i want, and sometimes better! Ive also gotten gel tips/extensions done here and they did such a great job, however it was very pricey. There is also a points program you can sign up for and whenever you earn so many points you can redeem them for a free service!

Been a loyal customer for over a year and it's finally time to leave some feedback! Like some others have mentioned, this salon is settled on a higher budget ($33 for a gel manicure and $20 for a pedicure - what I generally do) but despite that the quality definitely pays off. My gel manicure always last at LEAST 2 weeks, and at most 1 month. Do realize not every color will What I like about this salon: very clean, large selection of colors for gel, the technicians use new packets of utensils, jelly foot bath for pedicure, and my selected technician is always precise and detail oriented! I was always super picky about my nails and one of my biggest pet peeves is crooked nails/nail polish on my skin. As a long time customer I've experienced many technicians here and some did not deliver the quality I expected.. but so what? That didn't stop me from coming back. Try another technician, not everyone is perfect. My favorite technician is Michelle and I always make my appointments with her. However if she's not available I would choose from Jo, Jennifer, Olivia, or Amanda base on availability. Lastly, I highly recommend you to make an appointment. I never show up without making one because its ALWAYS busy. Sometimes I call and reserve a slot for the very same day.. it's that easy!! Otherwise, do expect up to a hour wait (or even 2 hours if super busy) if you walk in. Additional tips: 1) If you plan to go more often, get a points card for $5 (helps build points per visit towards reward redemption) 2) Minimum for card is $20 3) Tip with cash

Always come here, Jennifer and Kiki are the best. Amazing service and very talented professional artists. Beautiful salon.

I had such high hopes here. Got the green tea pedicure which was just okay, not worth $49! The foot mask made me cringe as they put plastic over your feet and into this heated pad. Blah! The 10 minute reflexology was not great, the technician stayed in the same spot on my foot nearly the whole time. I also got SNS dip powder that I am so so sadly disappointed with. I told the technician immediately before we started, "I have not had good experiences in the past with dip powder, because I like my nails natural and thin" she assured me there would be no problem and understood that I don't want my nails thick and I want the powder thin. Well, 2 hours later, sure enough my nails are bulky and super thick. When she asked me if I liked them I told her "the polish is pretty but no they are way too thick" and her response was "I only did 4 coats, it's not thick". She was meticulous in her work and This place is SO clean, the cleanest I've ever seen a nail salon but I will NOT come back here for nails. $100 down the drain. Not to mention my nails started cracking within three days.

Good but not great. I love how clean it is and whatever they put in the water during a pedicure is so cool! I went 1/16/22 for a regular mani-pedi. I won't name the nail artist, but I got a nice blue color that unfortunately began to chip twelve hours later. Pictures attached - ignore my dry skin, that's on me and not Latoue. I've been satisfied with my previous (unreviewed) visits, though, so I'm not sure what happened this time.

    Sainan C.

Great clean and cozy space. Friendly staff too. I showed them a color design I found online and they didi a great job picking the colors. It was a great experience. I messed up two nails accidentally in the store and the lady helped to fix them nicely. They are also giving away free hand lotion for he holiday seasons. Will definitely come back!

I've had 2 pedis with powder manis here and I'm in love with this elegant salon! Clean, upscale in feel, they make and keep appointments and nearly all of the staff speaks English. Nicole and Amy are wonderful technicians. And did I say the salon was CLEAN? They also have a cell phone policy so the salon stays calm and noise free. Highly recommended.

New business management and new business name: Magnolia Nail Spa 4 The inside of the shop is still the same as old business Le Charme but it's not the same. Service and quality isn't the same under their old manager Ryan. I personally felt like it was a trap that they continue to use the LeCharme name and website when they had clearly changed. I was confused when I arrived and saw the name change but still gave them a chance as I had booked an appointment via Le Charme website and only had that day to get my nails done before going to a wedding on the West Coast. Also, even though I had an Spa Pedicure appointment for 10AM (opening time) I still had to wait. Other customers came in (either appt or walk in) and were seen first... they also had to call for more Nail technicians to come. I sat at the manicure station flipping through gel color templates waiting for Nail tech to see me. I already choose but waiting, at one point they had forgotten me until someone asked me what I wanted and I had to repeat myself again. I picked a spa pedicure treatment and selected gel as I heard gel last longer. It was my first time getting gel but I wanted to look my best for the wedding I'll be attending. I asked for paraffin wax for my feet and callus treatment. They were confused and said paraffin is already included in the spa package (I remember it is usually for heel only and I wanted for the entire feet) but they insisted it was included and for the entire feet, so I said okay and let them do their thing. Service was decent but my nail tech had rushed and missed a few spot. She didn't apply the polish carefully and throughly. It was like coloring your hair, they always leave a gap from the hairline so you can return for touchup. In my pic, you can see my toes didn't look as nice and pic was taken about 1.5-2hrs later (after appointment, I had quick lunch and went straight home). While I did enjoy the spa pedicure, because I wanted to pamper my feet, she was abit rough at times and rushed it. And no, she didn't apply paraffin wax to the entire feet; just the heel. I was willing to pay extra but they didn't do that. If you don't know, paraffin wax help rehydrate and trap in moisture and it's particularly effective for those who often get calluses to help in removing dead skin, and healing dry patches. It acts like a form of heat therapy and can help increase blood flow, relax muscles, and decrease joint stiffness. It can also minimize spasms and inflammation as well as treat sprains. When it was time to pay, I thought I would have to shell out more for everything as I didn't know what the actual cost would be. I wanted Spa Pedicure package with Gel Color. Callus Treatment $10, Gel pedicure $55 & Spa Pedicure $45. I had assumed they would charge abit extra for the Gel coloring ontop of the Spa Pedicure package. After I paid and walked out (no receipt was given to me and I had hope to take a pic of the bill but the total was present quickly to me and was out of my view) and walked down the street, the owner lady came out chasing me saying I needed to pay more. I follow back and she said something else was charged to me.. again wasn't able to see the bill and had to trust her word and paid more. I finally left and disappointed later on when I examined my feet at home. I think its time to find a new Nail Salon.

The technician repeatedly focused on the corner of one toenail that appeared completely fine, continuing to poke and cut at the area despite there being no visible issue. She also seemed visibly frustrated throughout the service, sucking her teeth in frustration as she went over this area again and again with the cuticle cutters, which added to the discomfort. Now, 6 days later, I'm experiencing pain and warmth in that toe, which makes me concerned that the excessive cutting has resulted in irritation and may have even caused an ingrown toenail -- not cool, very awkward & disappointing experience. Manicure: The manicure itself was acceptable, but the process felt inconsistent and unstructured. Each hand was treated differently, and tools--specifically the cuticle nipper--were not cleaned during the service, resulting in visible buildup of cuticle cuttings on the tool, which was unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Overall, this experience left me uncomfortable and disappointed, and I wouldn't return.

Come on in. I came at 4 PM on a Wednesday. There were only 2 other people in the salon and it was very quiet. As soon as I sat down, I asked the manicurist if she could do the design I showed her a picture of (French tips with opal white instead of plain white). She said no problem and took a photo of my photo with her own phone and sent it to someone. She removed my powder gel fine and shaped my nails as I requested. Then comes time for the painting! I asked for powder gel and asked if the French tips would be UV gel, she said yes. Then she leaves and I'm greeted by another manicurist. I ask her if she is comfortable with the design I show her a picture, she said yes no problem. I say great! She begins using white to draw my French and I ask if she has Pearl white instead of regular white like the picture shows. She said she would do the pearl afterwards. When it comes time for the pearl white, she uses a multicolored glittery color that has no resemblance to the photo I showed. It is seemingly yellow from the angle I was looking at it. Eek! She asked if I liked it and I said it's not like the photo at all, that it's rainbow not pearly white. She told me they don't have the pearly white color. I said to keep the white then, although I definately would have asked for baby pink tips if I knew pearly white wasn't an option. I'm not sure why they didn't tell me they don't have pearly white as an option so I could request another design. I was so frustrated that I showed the photo to 2 people and they both said they could do the design no problem. I walked out with a French manicure that I did not like the look of and was so unhappy. It has been 3 days and now 4 of my nails have chipped on the white tips (just as other reviewers have said). I am shocked and honestly just frustrated I have to spend another $50 somewhere else to replace the brand new manicure I have now.

I opted to go for their special Spa Pedicure with regular manicure. I am happy with both services. Lilly gives a really good pedi. The spa pedicure was nice. She wrapped my legs in a clay mask and covered with warm towels and Saran Wrap to set while she worked on my feet. She gave a nice 15mins leg massage and showed me the timer she set so I would be sure it's 15mins. She did well in removing those pesky little bits of nail that always dig into the side of the big toe... lol I don't know how else to explain it. But Lilly did really good there! The manicure was as expected. She did well and didn't cut me when removing my cuticles. Downside: they charge $1 for quick dry so I had to pay $2 (one for toes one for hands..) which is not a deal breaker for me but I feel like it should just be standard to apply one coat of quick dry to all polish.. but maybe I'm just spoiled cause my usual place includes it with service. They gave me a gift which I thought was sweet and thoughtful. It was a green tea lotion. Not sure if this was only for Xmas or just something they give with Spa pedi.
