I get home and wait for the redness to go away and then I saw that a whole line up my thigh was NOT done...from knee to hip. The next day (today) I see that there are more lines/patches that still have hair, so now I need to Nair what was missed. The whole purpose of getting waxed was so I didn't have to worry about my legs for my cruise this week. They may be excellent with nails, I will give them a shot at my pedicure tomorrow, but they need to improve their waxing skills before I go back for that service. ADDITIONAL REVIEW: I was contacted by the salon after posting the original review and they did the right thing! They offered to redo my waxing as the original technician was on a trial basis, she was not hired. They also gave me a discount on my pedi, which came out awesome. I'm not coming here for a luxurious spa day...this is more of a quick stop after work before I go to pick up my kid. I do advise calling ahead for an appointment if possible. I don't love the parking lot, and sometimes the clientele can be kind of rough, but they get the job done.

I know what a properly done gel manicure should look like, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I had been growing my natural nails out and specifically told the technician that I wanted them only a little shorter with a skinny almond shape. Instead, she cut my nails extremely short--so short that there was barely any length left and an almond shape was no longer possible. When I questioned what she was doing, she told me she could fix it with builder gel. The builder gel was applied extremely thick. I had to ask her to make it thinner, but even after that, the nails still looked bulky and poorly structured. There was little attention to the apex, cuticle area, or overall shape. One hand ended up round while the other was almond, and she did not correct them to match as I requested. The gel polish application was also messy, and within only a few hours the gel was already soft and peeling. When I got home, my nails were hurting and I was very unhappy with the result, so I called the salon. The owner, Mia, told me to come back the next day and said they would fix them. Unfortunately, when I returned, they didn't want to spend the time to fix everything properly. She would only offer a refund if I allowed them to remove everything I was not comfortable having everything removed that day because one hand had been cut so short and filed so narrow that I barely had any nail left so I needed them to fix their work. The owner acknowledged that the technician had messed up and explained that I had only been charged $35 instead of the original $75 because of the issue.( didn't charge me for the builder gel).However, she suggested I come back in a week or two, originally offered 10 percent off my next visit. I reiterated I want a refund and she said max offer 50% off, but I would still have to pay for additional builder gel to repair a problem that resulted from the original service due to the technician inability to understand and skillset. What is most frustrating is that I went in with long, healthy natural nails and left with extremely short, painful, uneven nails that did not resemble what I requested. I'm very disappointed because I used to have a good experience here and trusted this salon with my nails. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend Green Hill Nails and would encourage others to carefully consider their options before booking.

Told them I had an appointment and then I went to go pick the color. I was seated in the last and only available pedicure seat left. This place is pretty busy on a Sunday morning at opening time. The host lined the tub with plastic and turned the water on in the tub. A girl named Ivy continued my pedicure after a few minutes soaking. Asked for the water to be a little hotter and she did not complain. She asked if I wanted my nails cut, and then she clipped, filed, and buffed. Put oil on the cuticles and soaked again, then picked off all the dead skin. Overall clean work and seems to have painted in the edges too, which I really like.
