I am very satisfied and happy with my nails. I would definitely visit again. The atmosphere is very relaxed and was overall a good experience.
So I've been here twice first for a mani and that was a good experience so decided to get tips there and man was it a major mistake! First I asked for a coffin and I got almond. I even showed the guy a photo of what I wanted. Second, two days after one nail cracked in half! One week later a second is cracked and coming off! Third i received two different gems on my finger as well! They're the same shape but one is smooth the other isn't. Going back to make them fix it for free but it'll be the last time I go there for tips! The woman who fixed it did a terrible job making it coffin while the rest are still almond and she did it slanted. What a waste of $70
I've been here a few times when I'm visiting SI. They have a special mon-wed mani/pedi for $23. They do a pretty good job on the pedicures. The manicures are decent (literally a 7-8 job). All in all not bad for the price!
I love this place! My friend recommended this place to me and I just had to check it out because her French gel manicure was soo nice. And it was conveniently located by the Eltingville train station. There's a decent sized parking lot in front of the salon. I walked in around 230pm on a Tuesday. Place was very big and clean. I heard the owner say everything was newly renovated, which is a plus! The pedi chair was nice and comfy, comes with massage, bag rest and a cup holder. They use disposable toe separators and plastic linings for the pedicure which is sanitary, another plus. Also they do a paraffin wax treatment for your heels, which I love :) For the nails, I got a gel manicure($23). You can ask for French, it's $5 more. I also got glitter on one of my nails ($2 per nail), and you get to choose what color glitter you want --- they have a large selection. My lady did a such gorgeous job!! -- to the point that my real nails look like tips. My Oooonly complaint - the Hispanic lady who did my toes had on fake nail tips so it got in the way of her doing the pedicure and so she used this sharp pointy tool which was a little painful/annoying because she wasn't gentle. However, I got over it because the pedi did come out looking good. Other than that, 5 stars for sure. A quick money saving tip: Monday - Wednesday, $7 off manicures (gel included), if you get it along w their regular pedi ($23).
If you are the type of gal who likes nail art and getting tips. this is NOT the place for you. This is not a hate review. I actually liked this salon, they were very clean, their products were great and they make their own scrub! it smelled amazing! the pedicure was great. Unfortunately I was just not impressed with their master nail artist. I showed the picture and she received tried to copy the art but she just needs more training i would say. my almond nail looks really off and the nail art was... hmm let me just show pictures and let you be the judge.. my total was $115! i was charged $25 just for the art. this was not worth the amount. Lastly, i felt she was in a rush, doing my nail design while i was getting my pedicure. my foot scrub was not done to the optimum because the lady was being careful not to move me too much while i was gettin my design done.

To start, the parking lot is very small, so you'll have to be lucky and/or patient to get a spot. They are very accommodating and welcoming to walk-ins though! I told the gentleman that served me I wanted a gel manicure, and he began filing and shaping as I picked my color, but he did not ask if I was okay with the shape and length at all before proceeding, I had to interrupt him to let him know I preferred my nails to be a bit shorter, and he did not seem to like that. He was very efficient (I do like that, made me feel like he wasn't wasting my time) but I felt he did not do the best job because he was so fast. In fact one of my nails is not well covered by polish at all, a noticeable part of it was not painted at all, and I feel like he should not have missed that given the fact that he did two coats. A few other nails are not covered by nail polish to the edge, making me feel like he was skimping on quality for speed. He also did not ask if I wanted another coat, as generally I like to have three coats. By the time I realized he would not be doing another coat he had already moved onto top coat. Overall, he felt rather cold and not engaged or caring. The facility was very nice and clean and overall seems pretty professional but I felt like I received subpar service in order for him to finish quickly. Perhaps the other employees are different, I do not know. However, I was sad that my experience did not live up to the previous reviews.
I just got a SNS manicure here. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE this is the sloppiest work I've ever had anywhere there is color and glue residue ALL OVER MY FINGERTIPS AND CUTICLE AREA. After he lotions my hands to send me on my way I point out that this is not acceptable, he then take a piece of tissue with acetone and scratches each finger removing SOME of the mess and then tells me that when I keep washing my hands the rest will come off.
Wow what excellent service! When you come in Monday through Wednesday and purchase a pedicure for $23(!!!) you receive a FREE manicure. AMAZING! First off the place is very clean and even being that it was a day off from school For the kids and the spa being packed. They took us ten minutes before our appointment had even begun. Last time I came here I was disappointed with the manicure because one of the guys did it and it chipped the next day but I was like okay well it's free. However this time I told them I need it to stay good for Sunday and they made sure to take their time and put extra polish on my nails. The nail tech also did my pedicure and she spent a good 45 minutes on my nails including a 10 minute leg massage - that was definitely the best part. Besides the amazing price which you can't get including great service, I had a great experience at master nails salon and spa and highly recommend any of their services!
I've been coming here for years and I'm sad to say they've really gone down hill. Before the pandemic I switched to powder SNS nails and used to go to Caleb. After 2 weeks they'd start to chip. I didn't start going back until this June. Caleb wasn't there so I went to an older woman who did a nice job and the nails lasted for 3 weeks. When I went back 2 weeks ago I got someone else (the lady at the 1st desk with round glasses) she was very nice but in less than a week my nails were chipping terribly. I went back after a week so they could fix it ( for free) and I unfortunately got the same woman. I don't think she knows how to do the powder nails and she took forever to soak off the old polish because she was impatient and used a teeny tiny piece of cotton ball and a drop of acetone and had to constantly add more 3x!! Then when she started buffing my nails she used the roughest file ever! I had to tell her to use a different one. Well guess what in less than a week chipping again (see pics). They still give an awesome pedicure and foot massage but I'm done getting powder SNS nails from them.

Today I tried the SNS dip nail powder since it's supposed to be healthier than gel long term. Wow! How cool is this stuff? AND the woman who did it was soooo thorough. I'll insert a picture. Keep in mind, when it starts it doesn't look like the color you picked while the process is going on until the end when she puts the topcoat over it, so don't freak out! Lol great place! Always willing to fit you in, but gets very packed so try to make an appointment!
I'm sorry but me and my sister went here last Friday July 17 and one day my gel chrome nails lasted. My sisters pedicure lasted one day as well. I've been getting my nails done for over 12 years never did it last 1 day! And it's a headache to go back in a pandemic wear a face mask again and sit to do them all over again! Ridiculous we deserve our money back!
Great place! Everyone is so nice. Plenty of parking. My nails look so good!!! They have chrome polish as well as a ton of gel colors.
New management. The place has totally been remodeled inside so everything is new. Very mordern not your ordinary nail salon. Most importantly the salon is very clean. I hope it stays clean and updated. I have to say the staff was very nice and welcoming, which i really loved. The lady that did my pedicure took her time with me . I was not rushed. I guess because its also new and not a lot of people.

Under new management! Blue Nails from Richmond Ave moved here ! I scheduled an appointment for a gel mani and regular pedi! I didnt get the name of the tech who did my pedi but she was wonderful! Checked on me with the water, with scrubbing (cos im ticklish), after first few toes were painted to ensure i liked the color. Super sweet !!! Suki did my mani and she paid attention to detail, ensuring my nail shapes are all even and making sure i liked the color i picked! She listened to me when i told her not to cut too much skin cos they tend to grow more (atleast on my hands). Im happy with my mani and pedi ! Only complaint is it can get busy in the parking lot! read more

Update!!!!! My nails are coming off already and it's been 3 days and when my thumb nail came off there is black and green stuff under it which I'm thinking is fungus because how would dirt get under so far in the nail, I'm disgusted with this place and they should be closed read more

This location used to be Sunshine Nails, but it is now under new management and went through complete renovations. Everything from the pedicure chairs to the lighting to the bathroom had been modernized. I went for a mani pedi and I was so happy to find that the pedicure chairs have a USB port for charging your phones so make sure you bring your charger. They are very hygienic and use disposable tubs and tools for pedicures. Oh, and another plus is that they have wifi! read more

Went here for the first time today since Muse and Glamour were fully booked. I was very happy they open at 9. I went to get the SNS powder nails. I had gel nails on, the lady used the drill to take it off which I wasn't a fan of, then it was followed by soaking of the nails, followed by more drilling. At the other places I've been they use the SNS or nexgen liquids to do the powder but she used something in an Essie bottle. The dipped my nails twice followed by lots of filing and more drilling and cut my skin twice. It ended with a top coat from an OPI bottle and uv lamp. I get SNS so I don't need the UV light. End result is streaky and uneven. She filed so much that you can see patches of my nail. First and last time here! I see high reviews of this place maybe for gel mani since that's what everyone else was getting, or I just got the bad tech. $33 later I am Not happy. As you can see in the picture she cut the lower rim of my pinky nail, not impressed. read more

OMG people open your eyes how this salon got a 4.6 star! Only a good thing about this salon that it looks very beautiful! That's it! I didn't like my gel manicure!!!! I can't even call it a manicure, more shaping your nails and change polish, which is also bad!!!!! No cuticle cleaning!!!!! The polish coloring is bad, bumpy and under nails!!!!! I wish I could 0 stars. I never go here but I was in a pinch before a wedding for a quick gel manicure on Saturday. My real nail had broke, so I asked for a little bit of powder to fix it. Neither of the women knew what I was talking about, which is completely mind boggling. She insisted on extensions & said they were 7 DOLLARS. I never get tips & I told her I didn't want them, but she insisted they're better than powder. She glued nails on me & at least 6 popped off WHILE she was filing. So we had to start over. About 50 mins in, she tells me the price was $70. I told her I wasnt paying that price, considering I went in for a gel manicure and asked for a powder fix AND she said $7- not $7 EACH FINGER. She then attempted to make like she was making it better by saying she'll only charge me $7x5 nails ($35) but proceeded to charge me an extra $28 for gel polish when she should have used regular polish. I returned home and proceeded to get dressed for the wedding & less then an hour after getting my "manicure" my right index finger nail broke. Less than 24 hours later, all on my "extensions" fell off and are in a zip lock bag & will be returned to them when they reopen after the holiday weekend. I never write reviews, but not only did she blatantly lie to my face & rob me, their work didn't last a full 24 hours. This salon, if you call if that, is disgusting & crooked. I will be returning when the open, with my nails In a plastic bag. They should be shut down for the way they blatantly rob customers who work hard for their money. I'm disgusted and appalled by their actions and if you read reviews & make decisions upon them, this is your sign NOT to give them your money! Blooming nails & Hannah are WAY better, but I went here because it was closer & they had open availability as the others did not, & I totally understand why now. DO NOT DO NOT SO NOT GO HERE!!! BRING YOUR MONEY & BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. read more
