This has become my go-to place to get my nails done. I recently started getting the dip powder manicure and they have a ton of SNS Dip powder color options to pick from. I love the dip powder because it is not as thick or fake as acrylic nails, and they cover my own nail, but it is dramatically stronger than gel, which I would often peel or break before it was time to get my nails done again. The staff is always friendly, and takes their time making sure your nails come out perfect. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because I have come with or without an appointment and been seated immediately, but have also come in with an appointment and waited 30+ minutes after my appointment time to even begin. Overall, I love how they do my nails, but if they're crowded be prepared to wait or come back another day. read more

I've been looking for a new nail salon. This was my first time here and I was very happy with the experience. Everyone is very friendly and polite. They take your temperature and give you sanitizer before you enter. Everyone is wearing masks and there are dividers. I'm very happy with how my nails came out. I was so excited to try this place because my friend said they give you a shoulder massage while your nails are drying... so I drove from Dongan Hills, because there's only one other place that does massages for literally one minute while you wait. Just got my toes done and its A ok to me .... I felt like they could of did a better job.. This place does not have that many customers...but still limited to staff...I waited about fitheen minutes for a pedicure...I didn't mind the wait but there was only three people working there while there is about five customers... After the fifteen minute of waiting is over I took a seat in there pedicure station...they have message chairs...YES!!! I sat on the chairs with comfort... The chairs was awesome...got rid of some of the knots is had on my back... The pedicure lasted about half an hour...the women that did my toes where in her own little world... Half of the time she was rubbing my feets and the other half she was just patting them looking outside the window... I wasn't sure what was going on...the color I picked was nice...the outcome was what I wanted... The prices was reasonable... Twenty for a pedicure...manicure and pedicure twenty eight bucks and gel pedicure is thirty five bucks...not bad at all... I had never had a gel manicure before so I was not sure how long they would last but I have been pleasantly surprised with the results. At first, I was a little disappointed when I left the salon because around my nails and my cuticle area looked very dry and imperfect which is not something I am used to after a manicure, however, with lotion it seemed to improve slightly. The first two photos were taken right after my manicure and the second two photos are 25 days later! They are definitely outgrown but the polish is still intact! This place has been really disappointing lately. My nail lady, Wendy is wonderful and does a great job every time and is super kind. But the management on the other hand needs to get their booking in order. The service I received today was Poor. I live in New Jersey but work in Staten Island and needed to get my nails done before getting home so I went there. This was only my second time trying this spot. The first time it was a different person. For starters, the girls move slow; like because they're already at work you want to spend the whole day there. She acted like she didn't know how to use the electric file to remove gel polish. She was not thorough on my feet and did not use the tool to remove the rough areas. Then because she took so long removing the polish I had to rush through getting my nails done. Their prices are high and their service does not match what they are charging. I left feeling horrible. My feet still looked a mess. Not pretty and clean- just covered with fresh gel. My cuticles on my hands were not tended to properly. It's Friday out and I have to still go home and scrub my feet, Oil and cut my cuticles after I sat in a shop for two hours! I Am Not Happy At All. They need to lower their prices by $5-$10 dollars for both the mani and pedi respectively because that's what I feel it was worth. I'm So Pissed. read more

My mom and I started coming to Rose Nails in September 2016 after our original nail place moved to a different location. Everything about this nail salon is perfect. Clean and bright. Great color selection of regular polish, gel colors and SNS (which I highly recommend). I got my first pedicure here last month and it was the best pedicure I've ever gotten. All the people who work here are awesome. They also have a rewards card- each manicure is a stamp and after 10 stamps you can get a free manicure or money off whatever manicure you get. I have been a loyal customer for YEARS, however I made an appointment for a pedicure the day before Christmas at 5:30 PM, I arrived early and they were PACKED (I mean not shocking; but I did have an appointment). Since I live close by I sucked it up and told Susan I can come back Christmas Eve if that was easier for her and the staff. She apologized and said I should come in 1 PM, I made not 1 but 2 appointments. I come back Christmas Eve and they are PACKED again. I'm sitting there frustrated because I do have an appointment and I've been waiting a half hour and it's Christmas Eve. So now I wasted my time as well as someone else's, but back my polish and say I'm leaving - I had an appointment, arrived early and still could not be taken. So what was the point of making an appointment and wasting my time? I will NEVER return, they lost 3 customers - myself and 2 other people I always bring with me. I love the girls that work there, they're very good and professional but the owner is so money hungry she would take everyone and anyone. I was there one day and a guy came in to get a pedicure, he was older and clearly not well, he had open sores in his feet! They put a plastic around the tub so you will never share the water but since that day I ordered a manicure set with my manicurist and have been bringing it ever since and that's the only reason why I go back. If you want to make an appointment make sure to get the girl's (manicurists) phone number , the owner has no idea how to keep appointments and you end up waiting an hour for the service. read more

First and last time at this place. My cuticles are bleeding and raw. Also, my gel manicure isn't even painted on the entire nail! I was going to go back to have them fix it but they were unfriendly so I didn't want to bother going in there again.
