SO UNPROFESSIONAL! SO RUDE! VERY STEREOTYPICAL BUSINESS! MADE A 28 Y/O PREGNANT WOMAN CRY! I went in with a picture of what I wanted she said she would try her best I stated I wanted the design in silver she asked like the video I said yes ( in said IG video the tech is using chrome powder). unfortunately on this day before Easter they were in a rush, to start off with she placed my feet in steaming hot water! Fast forward cutting and prepping I asked her to file my nails evenly she begins to cut down all my nails and file sideways so now a few of my toe nails are slanted.. Fast forward again to the design I asked for flames she gave me what looked like grass blades I was hesitant but she said it's the best she could do! So reluctantly I said ok, she proceeds to do all the nails BLACK! I asked if she was going I add the powder she said oh you want silver 15$ extra I said " just to rub powder on my toes?" I would like for you to re-do the design then, because I don't wanna pay extra for something I'm going to pay to change again. She said she can't! I said so I'm not paying for the design. The whole team got up and proceeded to speak in there language and assure me I had to pay because she did her job. I said I'll pay a regular manicure but I'm not paying design and chrome powder she can remove it if she would like. Two ladies proceed to tell me to calm down ( as I'm crying might I add) because now everyone is yelling and no one is understanding what I'm asking. Pregnancy hormones through the roof and she proceeds to shave the design off. In which I asked so how much? She said 62$ I said absolutely not, we go back & forth and be points at a price list, normally I'm verbally told the price because the price list never matches what I'm told. So I explain that's not always accurate she then raises her voice to speak her language to then have someone come over to me and tap my shoulder and told me AGAIN to calm down, as I cannot I'm already crying trying to explain myself AND IM PREGNANT!!!! So the other associate begins to yell & I just shut down too many people talking to me at once, after she's done shaving both my big toes and reapplying clear polish. She goes we are done, clearing up my face I step out for air and to grab my cash because now I don't want to pay card just in case they try to adjust the price as they have done before ! I come back from my car which was in the lot parked infront of the Papa John's the gate was closed. I came back Sunday 4/20/25 and they were closed so I came BACK 4/21/25 so I may apologize to the lady for my hormones and walking out as well as pay for her services and tip. Everyone AGAIN proceeds from the moment I walk through to speak their language and explain the story I waited and asked if I could speak to the lady they was talking about to apologize and pay..... The only MALE manager asks me what happens sat. I begin to explain when he cuts me off before I could finish my FIRST sentence to say; well you don't like design you no pay so go somewhere else we will not service you! I try to explain I DONT WANT ANOTHER SERVICE I WANT TO PAY AND APOLOGIZE TO THE LADY. HE BEINGS TO CUT ME OFF AGAIN STAND UP TO SHOO ME AWAY AND GOES " MAYBE YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE"! so again I state I only want to pay he yelled NO, and pointed at the door. I felt humiliated in front of everyone inside and out side of the nail salon!!! Had the customers looking at me like I did something wrong!!!!!! If I could do NO STAR I WOULD! After having such a great experience with Jenni, decided to book an appointment with her again. I booked a full set and pedicure on the phone, they set me for 10:00 am on a Monday, which is the time they open. Her work was satisfying (but not as detailed as she was for my last manicure). The nail shape and feel was what I wanted and came out similarly to how she did it last time. I loved with how it came out in the video - before the gel polish. The color is asked for is a little off. Came out more pink than the nude I wanted. The pedicure color is different, and is the actual color that I wanted. You can tell the color is different. 4 stars for this instead of 5, would still come back but hopefully the color I pick next time is more accurate. read more

I came in, and I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. Yet, when I got my nails done, the job she did was horrendous. She had to redo my toes twice. The work was sloppy, and removing the gel nail polish was an extra 5 dollars. Since I had gel on my toes it had to be removed with the nail machine, but when she did it she made my toes uneven and bumpy. So now I have to wait until my nails grow out to fix the mistake she made. If I wanted mediocre nails, I would have done them myself. Truthfully, I think I do a better job. This is my go to salon & he staff is really nice for the most part. It really depends on who does your nails to base it on the longevity of them. I used to get acrylics and my prom nails stayed on for at least 4 weeks the last time I got them. I get gel maincures now & they stay on for a least 3 weeks which is really good to me. However, sometimes when it's busy and you get a pedicure they barely spend time really scrubbing your feet but the polish lasts. Really good salon overall I just recommend picking someone you really like & sticking with them cause your nails can vary from time to time if you just go to anyone available. read more

Came here for a last minute quick manicure and pedicure, they have a public parking lot which is good right in a mini little plaza. The place was not packed at all which was good and its a nice clean nail salon. I like the pedicure area its got curtains to make it private and the chairs are comfy. My nail tech was Elana she was nice and I liked her, and her designs on her toes that she had. I enjoyed my little mini spa day BUT then the big down fall was that when I was removing my gel polish I had my nails soaked in a box with the acetone and when they went to remove it the paint off the box made a huge stain on my sweats and shirt that CANT COME OUT! I was pissed! & they had said it was my fault because I must of spilled the acetone, no its your fault, I am the customer and don't remember spilling anything on me, so that just irked me but they were super nice to me after, typical. CUSTOMER SERVICE MOST IMPORTANT! The nail polish lasted that night, I think they put to much acetone in there polish which eventually makes the polish weak. I am changing my review because of how horrible I was just treated moments ago! I would give 0 stars if I could! I had been coming to da oscars for over 5 years. The workers know myself, my mother and my aunt quite well as we all go every two weeks like clockwork. I show up to get my nails done for vacation and am told a half hour. Fine, I ask if it's ok if I run to the store and come back. Absolutely I was told. I came back within 20 minutes and see the last girl before me was just taken. Ok, I tell the girl I am back and even sit next to her so I am not forgotten. After 4 people who came after me were taken and I now have waited an hour and ten minutes I finally said something. I was told 10 minutes everyone is busy. Fine. Accept I watch them take two more people who came after me ( one of them came less then 5 minutes before she was even taken). How rude could you be to your customers!!! I can promise that me and my family will never return to this location again now! Honestly I am very pleased with my experience. Went in for a color change, a gel pedicure and fix a broken nail. Was sat immediately and was attended as well.... took her time making sure all the toe nails were the same shape and size. Clean and massaged my feet and legs. Overall very pampered so far ! Went in with a little idea of how I wanted my nails painted...she was very patient and very cooperative. She replaced and thicken the acrylic that I had. She mentioned that was the reason why my nail broken, she filled in and also matched the sequence as my toe nails. Overall very satisfied! Do recommend. read more

I'm so upset with the way my nails came out, you could see the lines on the acrylic tips through the nail color. This was the WORST manicure of my life. The whole process was painful and the lady doing my nails complained every five seconds that I was moving because I couldn't bare the pain. I normally don't write reviews but when I read some of the reviews for Da Oscar Nails I was compelled to write my own review and challenge others' statements. I find the staff and owner to be very friendly and professional. The nail technician I go to, Nora, does a wonderful job with my gel manicures and pedicures. I look forward to my twice a month visits to get pampered! One reviewer commented that they nickel and dime for their services. I guess I have been to various nail salons and do not see where Da Oscar's practices are any different than the others. If you want something done that is not within the standard service (e.g., nail design, there is a product they will use if you have a lot of callouses on your feet), you pay for it - you get a service, you pay for the service. Making a statement that "Some things they use seem dirty." is NASTY. They either ARE or they ARE NOT dirty. How can some thing SEEM dirty. (Sorry, this statement really got me because the princess wanted to be derogatory and put it in the readers head that there is a problem without there actually having to BE a problem....only that there SEEMS to be a problem - - ridiculous!) Finally, as I said the staff is friendly and professional. I have been going there for a very long time and have never seen anyone be nasty, mean, or unprofessional to any customer while I have been there. Is it possible that those who find them nasty got back what they gave to the staff? I made an appointment for 11 , I sat there until 11:40 and asked the owner numerious time what was going on and he said"we are late " and continued to take other people without an appointment before me. I said I know you're late that's why I'm asking you what's going on?, I explained to him calmly I understand but I have a hair appointment after this one and I need to be a time and he didn't show any care at all so I got up told him this is not how you conduct a business and left!!
