It's a super busy nail salon!! I called to make an appointment with Lynn and she did not disappoint. I have to thank my girlfriend who introduce me to this spot!!! I asked for a simple design and we talked about different options and what's best for my nails. We went with SNS powder so my nails can be strong and keep growing out. I wanted white sns nails with some white marble design. Even though the salon was super packed, Lynn did not rush me at all. She took her time and was very thorough throughout the whole manicure. She was gentle and did not hurt me. My biggest fear is getting nipped by the drill bit then having to wash my hands, it'll sting. I loved this so much and I'm going to come back for a new set soon. You know what's the best part though? They gave me a punch card so I can collect my manicures. 10 times and the next one is free !!! My nails the back wasn't filed properly and one is crooked also the shape is told her I want the shape like the picture and she said later still came out square, i wanted coffin shape. The color is not what I wanted either from the picture. They said to fix it they would have to redo my whole set and O would have to pay again full price. Every time I come home to BK I go to this shop and they do a great job... but not today. I wanted a new set and had some tips from my old set to be removed. My tech was Ivanna. She used other tips to remove my current set which is fine, until she got to my pinky and was being so rough and hard that she pulled off half of my real nail, apologized, then attempted to still put another tip on that nail... with the half removed old tip and bloody nail still there. When it came time to the design, I showed her what I wanted, and she was going to charge me for each color that was to be used, plus $20 for 2 rhinestones. When I said remove the rhinestones, she then upped the price of the full set. So, I said scratch that, let's just do mood nails. New set + gel polish was $40... she still charged me $45 + $2 to use my card. I live in the Seattle metro area so I get how pricey acrylics and gel can get but they clearly changed the price on me without so much as a $5 discount for fucking up my nail. read more

Applied oil before the gel cured, wouldn't let the gel cure for more than 10-20 seconds at a time, really rushed, she was mad at me when I asked her to make the nails the same length. Had my nails done today (less than 7 hours ago) and it already chipped. The place was overwhelmingly full and there was no social distancing. There were the plastic dividers but I was sat only a feet away from another patron (thanksfully everyone had masks on). The whole entire process was rushed, from picking a color to having my cuticle cut and the color applied. You can see the layers and how sloppy it looks. I'm so disappointed that it chipped ALREADY, the top coat was not applied thoroughly and at the tips. I usually don't review something unless it was that bad or it was amazing! And this was just a terrible experience, I gave 2 stars because I need my nails done and the price was fair, but for the end product, go somewhere that can give you a proper manicure. read more

I didn't get a pedicure here because it doesn't seem very clean, this is a hood spot for sure but they do a good job. I rather pay more and know I'm getting a sanitary place so I probably won't come back, but if that type of thing doesn't bother you (judging by how crowded it gets sometimes I see many aren't bothered by it) then this is a good place to come to. Okay I don't even know where to begin. Today was the last time I will ever allow these people to touch me. The first thing you think of when you walk into This establishment is GHETTO. It's absolutely filthy! FILTHY. There was mold, drainage, and sewerage leaking behind the pedicure chair. No one sterilized any tools, disinfected the pedicure tub, or swept the overwhelming amount of toe nails clippings , food, garbage and debris in there. I felt like I was going to get a fungus infection just by sitting in this place. The staff is UNPROFESSIONAL! They don't have any customer service skills, I waited an hour for a pedicure. I was a loyal customer of Red Spa Nails for the last 4 years. Pros: Cheap prices. They USED TO do a great job, Jessica was my go-to person for my acrylics and gel manis... But their customer service and hygiene protocols have gone downhill over the last year. They're nonexistent. This place gets REALLY packed, especially on the weekends... And it shows that the employees can't keep up with the crowds. Sometimes you walk in and no one acknowledges you because they are so busy. Or on the other side of the spectrum, if you're getting your nails done, your technician will get up and disappear for 30 mins to wax someone and try to divide their time between customers. It's really frustrating because you end up having to be there for longer than you really need to. If you don't speak up other women will cut you in line. Especially if you get a basic mani-pedi, you're less of a priority to them. Many of the employees have a "I don't give a f*ck" attitude. If you tell them there is something wrong with your nails, they will huff and puff while they attempt to fix it. Half-assed. It shouldn't even be considered a spa. It isn't even the least relaxing. I know times are tough, but it is unacceptable that some of the employees bring their kids to work. It is loud and noisy and filled with little kids running around everywhere, even more so when clients bring their own kids and ALL the kids get rowdy. The nail techs yell at their kids to behave as they work... Not only do the employees bring their kids to work, but they openly discuss their personal problems in front of people. Red nail spa is ghetto, so don't expect fancy spa chairs that will massage your back (they have them, but they don't work) That never bothered me, because I'm a simple person, but I stopped when I realized that they don't sanitize their tools. They take customers back to back without washing the spa chair tubs, or disinfecting anything. I witnessed it: I saw a heavy set latina employee COMPLETELY REMOVE a woman's big toenail because it had fungus. The customer had consented, but the nail tech should have known better. That is the job of a podiatrist or doctor. There was blood dripping into the spa chair tub, then she bandaged the womans nail and returned the tools to the tray that other employees were using. My nail tech attempted to use them on me too (I stopped her) and I ended up paying $30 for just a pedicure because I requested that she open new tools, which she added to my bill. Pay a little more and go somewhere else. This place is not worth the wait, and definitely not worth the gangreen or herpes you'll catch from their lack of hygiene. read more
