This is a pretty tiny store, but they weren't busy when I came so I had no wait. There were two workers who were super attentive the whole time and took turns helping me. I first had to soak off my current set (for 5$) and I got bored so I decided to get a pedicure while I waited (25$). I also had to remove the current gel on my toenails (for another 5$). Pretty good pedicure, she sanded down my heels, trimmed my cuticles, gave me a short foot/leg massage. However, I wouldn't get a pedicure here again because I think 25 is kinda pricey and can definitely get it for less elsewhere. From far away the polish looked fine, but from close up it looked super bumpy and jagged? I also got this cute acrylic set (45$). I wanted milky white nails at first but they didn't have the color so I was kinda disappointed :( The guy doing my nails was super patient and took his time perfecting them. I was lowkey in a rush though Total came out to be 80$, but because I paid in card, it was 87$. I would definitely come here again and probably bring cash!!! read more

I wanted to remove my SNS nails and I saw that this place offers that service and is in my area. I made an appointment thru Betty around 9pm. She was very responsive and within 30 mins, I got an appointment for the following day. Betty was my nail technician and she was very thorough and sweet. She was very efficient in removing the SNS within 15 mins. I also asked for a manicure so she filed and shaped my nails with care (since my nails were thin). I appreciated that she kept confirming with me if I liked the shape. I also got a relaxing hand massage. I accidentally nicked one of my still wet nails and she had to repaint it. But she was super nice about it even though she had another customer. This was my first time going to this nail salon. I always pass by here since it's in my neighborhood. The interior is cute, clean and a good size. A lot of places are too cramped and not properly ventilated. I would be coming back. I really like the girls working here, they do a good job, but something is wrong with the way SNS is done. I did it 3 times with 3 different technicians and it peeled off EVERY SINGLE TIME. I actually put a clear coat myself over a few fingers. Something is terrible wrong with the quality of the top coat used. Also, my SNS lifted every time on some fingers which shouldn't happen. I shouldn't be coming back, but I came to try gel polish. For some reason I was charged $5 to remove SNS which I did at their salon. Last 2 times it was free. Came here for the first time with my best friend (who has been here before) to get their pedicures which were currently on promotion for $20. There were only two employees working when we came in at 1 pm so it was empty which was nice. However I did notice how tiny it was so I guess that's why they're appointment based. I can't imagine how crowded it must feel when it's busy. They do have a bathroom that is quite roomy and very clean so I appreciate that. My pedicure was actually nice and quick, and the ladies were accommodating although I unfortunately didn't get anybody's name. The pedicure seats themselves look super pretty but aren't all that comfortable, and the fact that they're detached from the basin where your feet go make it even more awkward when getting in and out. The ladies do pull in the chair closer for you, but I find that totally unnecessary. The pedicure basins are also plain soaks, no jets. As an avid yelper, I naturally checked in on the Yelp app. They had a check in offer for a free eyebrow wax to accompany a $20 service, redeemable only once between Jan 2 and Jan 31 of 2019. After my feet dried I approached a different lady, (my pedicurist had left for the day) and she said to give her a minute while she verified with the manager. She then gave me the phone to speak to her daughter (who is also the manager) Betty, who explained that the check in offer is for your second visit and it's AFTER you post a review of the salon and she verifies it. Apparently the review of the salon is the proof of check in, not the check in that I showed on my phone (pictured). She called back again saying that if I didn't want to wait for the second visit that I can write the review right now at the salon, show her mom and then be allowed the eyebrow wax. I decided not to get the wax even though her mom said afterwards I can do the eyebrows regardless, she even checked my eyebrows to see if they're okay to go without a cleanup. She was very sweet about it but I have an issue with how that whole situation was dealt with because honestly, that's not how check in offers work for yelp. The purpose of doing that promotion is that you get whatever is being offered simply for checking in and the proof is on the yelp app, unless stated otherwise on the yelp check in description (which it wasn't.) Even my friend who has been their customer but doesn't use yelp as often was confused and said that's not how check in offers are done. And telling me to write a review while I'm in the establishment put unnecessary pressure on me, I would rather pay for the service than be told write up a review on my phone on the spot for something they're offering to begin with. That whole issue was just a confusing and unpleasant experience for me and I'm not inclined to return. The ladies were nice, the ambience was okay- not very warm but passive, and the work they did on my pedicure is holding up well after a few days. Despite my unwillingness to return and give them my business, by all means give them a try. You may have a more comfortable and pleasant experience than me. read more

We both had pedicures done by Rachel and Winnie and they were amazing!!! Very friendly, pleasant and very accommodating! Guuuuurl if you wanna be pampered and feel like a queen and be really comfortable then you need to come here. I got a spa pedicure and I literally feel like I have new legs and feet lolol. But for real they do a really good job they make you feel comfortable. Also those chairs are literally amazing so so amazing. And it's fluffy and pillows ugh seriously it's so good. I also love how all the colors are on the sticks so you can see what it looks like vs just seeing the bottle. I also got sns nails and they are so honest about shape and everything and that's so important cause I don't like when people hype me to expect something and it's trash. One woman (just in case I remember her name wrong) soaked my feet and exfoliated it multiple times (again, sorry if it stunk too bad!) and paid a lot of attention to my sensitivities because I flinched a lot when she was scraper. The spa pedicure package included the massage and it was very relaxing. I find this kind of care very rare for a Brooklyn spa. Usually, older women would just go through the motions absentmindedly and not really care. It is way more relaxing and reassuring that the staff here are here to help you relax (and be pampered!) My pedicure came out all sparkly and lovely! I was very happy with my manicure and extremely pleased with how the flowers came out. I am very into minimalistic flower designs, so not too flowery. I was lucky to get a picture off of Instagram before my phone died and they made it happen! When I finished, they wrapped my feet up, put my socks and shoes on and placed my coat on all so I don't mess up their wonderful work! What wonderful thoughtfulness and service! Did I mention, they have very chic chairs that try to make you feel like royalty. It's very cute and shows they pay a lot of attention to the ambience and how a customer would feel while in the salon. Two thumbs up for such foresight! The staff are all lovely, friendly and happy people. Two of them spoke Cantonese and we were able to have friendly conversation while putting a Cantonese movie up on their flat screen TV. So I had been wanting to try this place, based on the reviews. I was not disappointed. After many years of damaging my nails with hard UV gel, I've recently returned to natural. It's been agony. I originally wanted a silk wrap to give them a bit more stability but Winnie was nice enough to advise some SNS. I've had them a couple of times before and I'm happy I went with them again. Winnie did a fantastic job. Got the natural SNS with 14 day Esse polish and yay! Rachel did my pedicure and she really did not slump on anything. She paid attention to the couple of rough spots I have (I wear steamer boots and beat my feet up as a paramedic) as well as a silk construction on two damaged nails I have. I met the owner who was also lovely, though I can't remember her name (my bad). I was not rushed, they paid attention to detail and to my wishes; I got exactly what I wanted with extra. They do a full range of nail services, but do not do acrylic. SNS range is a little limited but they have other cool polishes that meet the glitz demand. I'm looking forward to my next visit. Where should I start? I asked about chrome, they don't have it. Then, I asked about ombré, the lady said she doesn't know how to do it. I show her a simple design and she also decline to do it as well. I wind up picking the lightest color thinking that would be safe. I THOUGHT I found a good place BUT after several visits Ive had the same issue with the POOR quality of their low quality nail polish. I got this loonng drawn out text ( see below) but to summarize no solution just NONSENSE was stated: "Our salon carries a variety of high quality nail products. Regular nail polish has a duration of 1 to 7 days. Customers typically notice any defects with the polish between 1-2 days after the service is completed. During your last appointment, (Saturday 8/17), you did a color change on your toes. You then called us on Wednesday (8/21) asking to redo your two toe nails free of charge. Our company policy for regular polish states that customers have a window of one day to notify the salon about fixing the polish free of charge. Given that you called us four days after you had the color change done, we unfortunately have to follow through with our company policy regarding regular color polish, and the specific window we have set for services free of charge. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause." POLISH shouldn't chip EVERY TIME I get my toes polished whether it's a pediure or a polish change, obviously it's an issue with the products! The fact that my mani/pedi is flawless is a given with a five star rating, but there are many more factors which has officially made it my go to salon (despite the fact that I'm about a 1.5 hours away via public transport - oh well, beauty is pain). I've never gone anywhere - expensive hotel salons included - that cleans and crafts the nail so meticulously and includes so many relaxing add-ons. I have seriously never been pampered to this extent. The price cannot be beat, and the service is out of this world! It was my first time here and I am in love with this nail salon. The quality of service is way better than any other nail salon around the area. They are not pushy or working in a fast pace environment (like a fast food place) that just want to get as many done as possible. The staff are super friendly and attentive. They make sure you are satisfied with their service. The place is clean. I got a regular pedicure and a SNS gelous manicure. SNS is a dip in powder, recommended by one of the staff. It is LESS harmful to the nails and lasts abt 3 weeks (or till your nail grows out). So far I like it a lot. Will see if it will lift since that's my biggest concern for regular powder or any type of acrylic nails. The price is slight higher (pedicure is $25 but there's a grand opening promotion if getting a manicure too) than near by salons but you will never get the cleanliness and attentive service else where unless you go to one of the high end salon in manhattan. My first experience here was ok - got an SNS w tips manicure - and I heard their pedicures are pretty good from another customer when I came in so I wanted to return to try it out. I will say that they used a layer of gel over my sns manicure so I was exposed to UV rays and that layer started peeling off like the 2nd day so it wasnt cute. However I returned and MADE AN APPOINTMENT which youre supposed to make but when I got there (5 minutes after my appt), they had already taken someone else and the boss was rude to me and told me I had to come back tomorrow. I was pretty livid since this salon is a bit out of the way for me and it was their mistake which one of them admitted (not the boss). The boss then said I could wait 45 minutes which I still thought was unfair since they could get me started and pause on the customer who didnt make an appointment but they took 15 minutes ago. Anywho I said Id wait if they could give me a discount for the inconvenience which was on them... And the boss didnt even look at me and just said no no no we can't do that. I walked out and will not return. I also told a few ppl about their pedicures and now will tell them all to stay away. Who needs customer service right and anyways their uv gel treatment with sns was horrible. Ugh read more

This spa is super cute and cozy! It's not as big compared to the other ones I've been to, but I love that it's clean, bright, and the staff/owner are all very polite and warm. First, the pros: the setting is very attractive and welcoming; the receptionist is pleasant and friendly. Now, the cons: I came in with powder dip on my nails and wanted LED UV with ombré polish. I brought in a picture of exactly what I wanted. It took an hour (not a figure of speech) for them to remove the powder dip. I know it's finicky; I know it requires effort. But an hour seemed excessive. No matter - the powder dip was finally removed, on to the show! A total of THREE people worked on me to apply the LED UV gel, and that took ANOTHER 75 MINUTES. When that was completed, I asked how long it would take to just get a single color (ombré went out the window at this point, since the receptionist mentioned that ombré takes longer). When the nail tech told me 40 minutes, I put down some cash and left. I simply don't have three hours in my day to get my nails done - do most women? And no, no one called afterwards to follow up. Usually I feel very self conscious going into hair salons or nail salons because I visit one maybe once a year and have only gone a few times in my life, and I'm hugely intimidated by perfectly groomed, made up, perfumed people working at salons. However, Pamper Me was not quite the same. I felt very welcomed and not judged. That itself makes me really like the place. Plus, I walked out with really nicely done gel nails. I'm not an expert on what constitutes good but my nails came out to be super neat and clean. I was actually quite sad because I brought my sister here with me. She asked for ombre gel nails and the nail tech didn't know how to do it so she just asked for a simple color. GIRL, I felt so bad because she made my sister bleed after filing her nails. We should've left then and there but wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt because she was pretty nice. So when it was my turn to go, I asked for gel french tip and showed her exactly what I wanted, but she said she didn't have this and that and almost told me to do a basic color. I didn't back down from what I wanted and I honestly regret it so much because it came out looking so bad and bumpy. I got there and really love the design of their nail salon. There is a princess like design going on with their chairs. It wasn't too crowded considering it is a Saturday. Stumbled upon this nail salon as I was searching on yelp the very last minute on the day before my trip. I was sooo busy with work that I did not have time to do anything so I just thought of going to any nail salon for a mani and pedi. However, I was intrigued by their SNS nails and decided to try it. I was being very indecisive of what color I wanted to get but the staff and my nail technician did not rush me or made me feel unwelcome since I walked in at like 6:40 and they close at 8pm. I have to say, i made my appointment via Yelp, and Betty was SO kind and so sweet in addition to getting back to me in moments. My communication and needs were clear, and i got out of work at 5, so i had to be there for by 6 PM appt. I got there minutes before and they treated me like royalty!! the salon is small but gorgeous, and they made sure that my requests were all met, to a T.
