Overcharged for a terrible eyelash extension job. The lady who did them did not know how to do them properly. She used some type of hair glue and just glued the cluster lashes right onto my eyelids and they were extremely painful. I had to go somewhere else to get them removed the next day. Been here before and was very happy with the eyebrow threading but the lady at the front ALWAYS has an attitude. I wanted threading and tinting and asked for a makeup wipe to take off makeup from my brows. She took out a wipe, put it on the table, and left the room to go to the back room. She came back and tried to wipe my face with the wipe that was left outside and I requested a new one. She asked why and I told her I wasnt comfortable with using it after it was left on the table and I wanted a clean one. She told me she doesn't have a new one for me (with the full package in her hands) and said if I wanted a new one I can go get one myself. I came for face threading...came with absolutely clean normal face...after this salon my face is the mess...red and swollen, I called them, they sad manager will call me back, she called and when I told her that for there mess whatever they did to me they need to pay for my cream to treat and repair my face they sad they will call me back, and they never did. I came in for a tint and wax, she waxed my eyebrows super skinny and dyed them almost BLACK. I told her to make them brown, I TOLD her not to make my eyebrows skinny. SHE.DID.NOT.LISTEN. My fist experience was interesting. A younger girl did my eyebrows and they came out OK but then the older woman suggested I sit back down to "fix" what she did. My eyebrows looked amazing. Second experience, I let the same younger girl do my eyebrows by herself (while chewing gum loudly in my face) and she messed them up so badly, I had to wait a few weeks to let them really grow out. My third experience was OK except for the fact that she didn't do much before telling me she was finished. I don't know if she wanted to close shop or what but she should've told me she's closed instead of taking me in and not doing the job well. And yes, they have a CC minimum of $10. One is better than the other at Brazilians but I didn't catch her name because of the heavy accent. Both women are very thorough and do not miss a spot! Very fast. I suggest making an appt but I've called the same day and made an appt. The place is spotless and never crowded, I credit that to good scheduling. Not sure about this place..I went 3 times for wax. First time it was for a quick bikini wax. Which was meh.. Ok then I came for upper lip waxing which broke me out like crazy the next day. The last time I went I didn't get the lady's name but she burnt my upper lip with the wax. I didn't even notice until I got home very disappointing. read more

Before she started I asked her JUST TO CLEAN my eyebrows and I also said PLEASE DONT CHANGE THE SHAPE .. so .. during the threading she said that eyebrows should be upper , I told her again not to change my shape cause my eyebrows are sraight from the nature . What the worst part ? Is that she said that AFTER she already messed up one of the eyebrows .. I've been to many waxing places and never experienced what I experienced here. The place was clean and new but I don't know what kind of wax they use but it burned my skin very bad. I was swollen and I had open sores from the wax and the pulling. This is supposed to be sugaring which is natural ingredients to use as wax but I'm not certain what was used. I believe. It gave me an infection and I was not able to enjoy my vacation because of this. I would definitely recommend searching and reading other reviews on the place as well as the products they use before visiting. I didn't and that was a huge life changing MISTAKE. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I went to the Brighton 6th location and my lady from last time wasn't there. Putting my trust into the salon, I let another lady do my eyebrows and planned on getting a tint as well. First of all, when she is threading your eyebrows, she does it so fast and presses down so hard that it literally feels like razors on your eyebrows. Horrible. Secondly, I asked for THICK AND ARCHED. After she was done with my eyebrows, she didn't ask me to check them, she was going to do the tint right away. I said no, let me check them first. I go look and I have SHOELACES!! Mind you, growing eyebrows isn't easy. It can takes months and months. Granted, I didn't have the most uneven eyebrow ever, but they were a decent thickness that I was comfortable with. I said, I wanted thick and arch, you made it thin. She said oh no, I made it even, look. NO lady, I asked for it to be THICK and ARCH I did not tell you to thin it out and make it look like shoelaces. She said "it'll look better after the tint", oh yeah when you take my full $20? No. I'm good. Horrible. It's so hard finding a great eyebrow lady who actually listens to you. If you don't want your eyebrows thinned out and don't want to feel like razors on your eyebrows while being threaded, stay away from ROSHANN. read more
