I've been here quite a few times now and I think I've done my nails more often because I love their service! I've been to a few nail salons before for dip powder and this place is well priced as well as gentle. The nail salon ladies greet you as you come in and when they are busy, they'll let you know to come back. Aside from that, they are able to tell that I'm a bit more sensitive and my nail bed will bleed and hurt if they push back my cuticles too much. They explain that they'll have to push back my cuticles but they do so gently. The service here is great and I find myself looking forward to my nail self care days. read more

My schedule tends to be very busy and if I ever need to squeeze in a gel manicure last minute, I tend to stop by and they are almost always able to see me right away without any wait. I usually go on weekends in the mornings, so not sure how different it is later in the day. The ladies working there are very very nice. My nails always look great. No frills, clean nail place whose prices can't be beat. All other nail salons in the area require appointments far in advance but I can easily swing by here and be seated right away, even during peak weekend hours. I got powder nails done here and the manicurist was careful and completed the job with aplomb. I know powder is basically crazy glue on your nails, but it looks so good and doesn't chip. Beauty is pain, I guess? Powder is $30 here! I've also received a mani/pedi here for just $22. Color selection is not super expansive but I've been able to find colors I like. The manicurist did cut my cuticle too deep and it ended up bleeding, but I understand this happens relatively often at salons. Once I came here and they were playing Disney songs on loop, which drove me insane. Even worse, the next time I visited they had Fox News on, but no one in the salon was paying attention to it. Next time I'll be sure to plug in my headphones and play my own music. read more

Honestly I was very happy with how my nails turned out which were acrylic coffin shaped Matte nails. However the issue was the nails only lasted me ONLY nine days with one popping off and the others were already on their way to coming off. I decided to give JR nails a try because they were located near me, and my usual salon was closed. I didn't even know of this location until I hopped on yelp! I got a manicure and pedicure for $22+tip. My manicurist was very diligent and meticulous. One complaint I had was she cut my cuticle too deep on two fingers causing some bleeding BUT she got some green solution that stopped the bleeding, she also apologized. If she hadn't done anything I would never return. I'm glad that they care about their customers here! At around 5:30pm, it was very busy so they called another worker to come in to help out instead of having the waiting customers wait longer. I also noticed they have services such as eyelash and wax. I began coming to this place about a year and a half ago because the other place up the block was just always so busy. I always get pedicures ($15) from here and they are quite decent. I usually bring my own polish because they don't have a big selection for regular polish colors. However, they seem to have a big variety of gel colors but I don't get gel so I can't speak on the quality of those. All the ladies there have done my pedicures and they are all really nice and meticulous with everything but my favorite person to go to is probably the slim middle aged woman who has brown hair. One time I came in but it was busy so I had to come back a little later but it was still busy but I still waited and that lady actually gifted me with a small lotion because of the wait. I did tips here once and they were alright. They didn't really last long though. They started to fall off in two weeks. Overall I think this is a nice, clean place to get your nails done. read more

I've been coming here since they opened not too long ago, hoping that I could find at least a somewhat acceptable salon close to my house, already disappointed by every other salon within a mile radius of bay parkway. It's been about a year and I now understand why the line can get long - I've yet to experience a bad manicure/pedicure, bad attitude from any of the small staff and never felt rushed. I have been coming to this nail salon since it opened and I absolutely love this place! The boss lady Jenny does an amazing job and I always go back to her! I came in for an appointment and as Jenny finished my nails it started to rain. She quickly offered me an umbrella and told me I can return it when I come in for my next appointment. The staff is really nice and friendly. They're actually pretty quiet. They do a really good shape on your nails but the pigment on the nail polish is not strong. There are clearer parts on my nails but it's not too noticeable actually only up close. I have some color left under my nails from the last time I got my nails done and I can see it in corners which is why I gave i didn't give it 5 stars. I'd definitely come back here again. Came here at the last minute because my regular place was closed (memorial day) and this place is down the block from me. It was a bit of wait to be seen (weekend and I was a walk in) but I didn't mind cus I was with my friends and I really needed my hands and toes done. I had my nails done by the guy (didn't catch his name) and he was very nice. They were all nice and friendly which is always refreshing. My toes were very nicely done by one of the girls she really took her time. The only thing I wish is that my cuticles on my hands were done a tiny bit neater I'll make sure to mention that to him next time( I wasn't really paying too much attention as I was watching the tv) but when I did bring up a concern or anything he was very attentive and got on it immediately.
