i went to posh today because i waited 1.5 hours at nails of america just for the nail tech to abandon me with my nails half done. i drove over to posh and they were so kind to me after such a bad experience. they immediately sat me and told me they would fix it! there was no wait, and she finished my nails in about 40 minutes. they have a much larger color selection than other spots in town. very spacious place with tons of open chairs. really calm environment. easy check in system. very clean! LANA IS AMAZING!!! these are quite possibly my favorite nails i've gotten in waco. i will be going back to her time and time again! read more

Honestly the pictures speaks for itself. The guy who did my pedicure spent about 20 minutes on my big toe only to cut it wayyy to low and make me bleed. Originally came in for a gel black french tip but obviously he was not capable of that. He redid the tip about two times and still did not manage to make it look good. Ask him to take it off & just went with white gel. The pedicure was very mediocre as well. Spent more than an hour & half on a horrible pedicure. 0/10 service. Inside is very clean and neat. My daughter and I went last weekend on a Sunday afternoon. The salon was not busy and the guy at the counter seemed lost. I read the reviews before I went so I kind of knew what I was getting into. My nails ended up all crooked and I needed to fix them as soon as I left her chair. She drilled on two of my nails until I had to pull back in pain. My daughter took forever. They used old polish and the brush bristles came out all over her nails. He kept picking it off and retrying. He cut into her cuticles in order to get fallen brush bristles and she was bleeding. Her fill ended up taking 2 hours. Would not go back. The vibe of the salon was hurried for no reason, they were not busy. read more

So I'm giving stars cause they stayed an extra hour to give me a pedicure. That was the outcome after letting the polish dry for more than 1 1/2+ hrs and wore socks (that came off right away after it feeling stuck). Went in for a mani pedi, and left looking for another place to get my nails done asap. This was our second time going here, and we got John and Sophie, both were very rude and the whole experience felt rushed, even though we were only two of their three customers. My pedicure wasn't horrible, it was very basic and nothing special, definitely not worth a $65 price tag. My gel manicure is where everything went downhill, John did both my manicure and pedicure, and he was very disappointing on both. He was very upset that my nails weren't incredibly long, and stated that he was going to have a hard time and would have to shape them up a lot. I told him I have to keep them short as I'm a teacher and work with small kids. He completely botched my nails, and fingernails that weren't crooked when I came in were definitely crooked when I left. There are so many air bubbles in my gel polish, it looks super gross. There's some gel polish on my actual finger and it looks so sloppy and unprofessional. I was so sad to lose the length of my nails, and even more upset that I now have to walk around with these horrific nails for at least a couple days. Our total was $225 for two pedicures and two gel manicures, definitely not worth our time or money for such awful service. read more

I paid $20 for this. The nail tech stated my nails look lumpy because of the glue I had on previously. However, the nail salon I regularly visit takes the time to remove any glue residue from my nails before applying any color. She rushed through the whole thing and didn't clean up to even clean up the edges. read more

Then they charged extra for the gel nails I didn't want, but got because their polish wouldn't stay. Then the manager argued with me at the cash register. My first experience with acrylic fill went very well and they did a great job. My second visit I decided to take acrylics off and do a dip color. Dip service was terrible quality and all the corners were chipping on by the next day. I was extremely disappointed with the service and treatment from the staff at Posh. I was getting a dip with tip, and I showed the tech a picture of the shape I wanted. He kept insisting it was square with round edges. It was not. It was a coffin. After he messed up on my first two nails, he went on to complain that it was my fault that the nail shape was wrong. After he started rolling his eyes and soaking my nails off, I told him that I no longer want my nails done. He changed his attitude and told me that someone else will do my nails. The front desk staff told me he wouldn't be able to. At this point I asked them when the owners would be in, and they brushed me off and told me that they were in charge. I had Jessica for dip nails with coffin shape and they came out literally perfect. She took her time to make sure each one was the same length and shape and none of them came out streaky or see-through in any areas. We made an appointment for the day after Christmas for a special occasion. We called several times making sure they had the correct number of people and exactly what we were getting. They gave two of our family members a pedicure then 30 minutes later got one more in for her manicure. An hour later they got another of us back for a manicure. We went in to celebrate my daughter's birthday and I hate to complain because we enjoyed our time with her, but this was my husband's first time getting a pedicure and the technician made one of his toes bleed and now it's sore. The technician I had rushed through my pedicure and didn't give me time to enjoy the paraffin wax he put on my feet. Plus he didn't even submerge my foot in it like you're supposed to. I have been using this salon for four months. I have had to change techs 3 times. I had an appointment and specifically advised when I scheduled that I wanted an acrylic fill. When I arrived prior to my appointment time I was told the one tech there had taken another client who had an appointment after me as she had arrived early and they wanted to accommodate her and the tech would be with me as soon as possible. I signed in, again stating I was needing an acrylic fill. Fifteen minutes into my wait I was approached asking if I wanted acrylic and then advised there was no tech working that day who does acrylic. When I said I specified when making the appointment what I needed the hostess just apologized. I made this appointment three days in advance, plenty of time for someone to call to discuss prior to my appointment time. This is poor business practice. I will not return! read more

This is my second visit to Posh in a few years. I told myself I wouldn't go back after my first experience when the nail tech Andy cut the sides of my fingers several times. I went back again today and was in a rush so I didn't have time to wait for another nail tech. I received Andy again, and he cut me in 6 different places on 4 different fingers. I had to ask him to switch filers and to be careful 3 times. He treated my cuts with some chemical he pulled out of his drawer without asking. He continued to get every single product into my cuts. The top coat also didn't work and he reapplied 3 times, which also wasted my time and in the end didn't make a difference. This is the worst manicure I have ever received. I spoke to the host who tried to contact the owner. The owner contacted the nail tech and the nail tech proceeded to barade me about how he "didn't cut me with the cuticle remover" and that my friend "told on him". He also asked about my age at the beginning of the manicure, which is highly inappropriate and would try to distract me while he noticed he was cutting my finger by asking about my personal life. The business offered me $10 off and a $25 giftcard like I would ever return. They wouldn't do anything else. I was also told that this has happened with the same nail tech several times before. Do not go to Posh or get your manicure done by Andy. He will sit on his phone with headphones in and give you the worst manicure you've ever had. read more
