Very disappointed. I like the place and the people are very nice. I had my toes done there a couple months ago and it was fine. This time my daughter and I both went. My nails and toes looked fine when I left however, I did not like that they did not trim mine or my daughters cuticles, charged an extra $10 for a "special shape" on her nails which was a simple oval nail. I got a French manicure and he made the white tip so small they look grown out after a week but worse I've had 2 nails chip and one crack. I've gotten dipped nails for many years so I'm very familiar. I have one place I trust and I shouldn't have veered because $200 later I have to have them redone after a week. For the quality I received, the price was outrageous. I might do a pedi in the future but that's it. read more

I asked if they would help me find a matching color and I was told to go look on the wall myself. The color selection is mediocre. If your ready for a relaxing experience this is not your place. Here you get what you pay for. When handed the list of pedicure services I failed to note the "time allotted" for each service. And let me tell you they adhere to the time not the quality of the service. The tech sets a timer and from start to finish depends on the time you paid for. When that timer goes off your done! This place is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. It's 4 days out and my nails are chipped and one of my toes hurts from the nail being cut wrong. Women were lined up to get in like cattle. So, still new to Waco and I really liked the this place so far. First time and she did a really good job on my nails. It was crowded but not like packed. I left my CrossFit class and needed to get them done for an event tomorrow. I got there around 6ish or ten till. And I was out by 6:30. Chole was really sweet. I know I didn't get the fancy stuff or nails like most women, but I prefer a more natural look. I just asked for a gel manicure and I love. I guess the of it stays without chipping after a few days then I'm sold and I'll give 5stars. But so far the four is for her customer service and her work was just really good. I have been here 3 times. Poor service each time. They are usually rushing your services resulting in mediocre job. I will not return. They are usually under staffed so you may have to wait at least an hour to get seated then wait again for your service to start even with an appointment. This last time I went I waited 1.5 hours. I got a pedicure and asked for a simple $10 service to take off my nails and clean up. The man shaved down my natural nail beds so much that I experienced nail sensitivity for over a week. My nails were uneven, inconsistently shaped ( or not shaped at all, and bubbly and thick looking. I asked for a dip nail on my real nails with a solid color...no added nail designs or jewelry just a simple set. How did they manage to still make my nails look terrible? I had to instruct the guy to fix several mistakes while attempting to do my nails...eventually I just got tired of correcting him and just let him continue with the poor work. I literally went home and had to file my nails for 45mins to fix allllll the inconsistencies, bumps, and shaping problems. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! read more

Got a gel mani/pedi today and both weren't great. I got the upgraded pedicure with the callus removal, hot stones and longer massage. The pedicure was mediocre at best- the chairs are not comfortable. My tech- Lynn did not massage the bottom of my feet or calves much at all, mostly just rubbed the top of my feet and ankles. The hot stones didn't touch my calves or bottom of my feet. Instead of rubbing in all of the lotion on my legs, she wiped it off with a wet towel and then dried them. My gel manicure was the worst I've received. My hands did not soak long enough so the cuticles getting removed was painful. She filed my nail beds and then didn't clean up the residue prior to being polished so there are specs under all of the gel polish on my nails. I paid $45 for a manicure to not receive any cuticle oil and she didn't have me wash my hands or clean them off prior to massaging my hands with lotion so it felt like sandpaper. She then asked me to wash my hands after applying the lotion so I'm leaving with dry hands and polish that is bumpy. Would not recommend. The further drive to EM Nails downtown is definitely worth it. read more

After saying my choice and saying I wanted to add and ten min massage the seemed upset and started talking to other employees. A friend of mine went to ZiZi Nails today, I felt bad for her because she was so excited to get her nails done here but when she came out she looked sad and hurt. Afterwards she told me that her nails hurt. When I asked why? She said that it was because her technician David nicked her fingers a couple of times. When I asked if she said something she said she winced and tried to get her hand out but David told her to "NOT MOVE" and grabbed her hands. I'm not sure if people read reviews but I wish my friend would have read reviews on this place because it clearly seems to be a staff issue of them being rude. And now apparently careless. Yes this wasn't my own experience but considering my friend isn't going to write a review. I will. So please don't go there. Or if you go, be careful and say something if they hurt you. read more

I'm not one to blast local businesses online, being that I am also a local businesses owner. BUT! I had an awful experience here today! (11/13/2021) Back story: i've been getting my nails done here for a while, but last time I went in (2 weeks ago) I had an acrylic nail fall off three days after I got my nails done... so I went in and had them fix it. I figured it was just a fluke, so I was gonna try them again today! I called two hours before coming in, to see if I could make an appointment with Michelle. I was told that they don't take appointments on Saturdays, it's walk-in's only. Cool. No big deal. I signed in at 12:02 PM and told them, "I would like a fill and a pedicure, but if it was gonna be a long wait, I was just gonna do a fill" and requested Michelle. They said, "no worries it should only be about 30 minutes". At 12:40 PM, they sat me down in the pedicure chair and I sat there for another 25 minutes without anyone coming to start the water... at this point I had been waiting an hour. So, I let them know that I no longer had time for a pedicure, and only was going to do a fill.. and they said, "someone is coming right now to start your pedicure!!" So I waited... Another 20 minutes. This entire time that I had been waiting, every person that came in after me had an appointment! But wait, I thought they said they didn't take appointments on Saturdays...?! Finally someone came over to me and said, "since you complained about your nails last time, Michelle isn't going to do them this time. So you will have to wait until the next person is available." I stated that I didn't complain, I just had a nail fall off, so I came in to have it fixed. That was it. After waiting an hour and a half, I finally left. This is a long post, but worth explaining! Absolutely terrible service!!! The owner, Summer, is the one that kept coming over and talking to me saying that someone would be with me shortly... Ridiculous. I know when you go to a salon, especially these days with no employees, there's going to be a wait. That's not a problem, I expected that. But the way that all of this was handled was absolutely ridiculous. Why would they let me wait on Michelle for an hour and a half, just to tell me that she wasn't going to be doing them. That I would have to wait till the next person is available... Zero stars from me! read more

They are all sweet and easy to converse with is that's what you want. Very clean and efficient. Fair prices and staffed well at peak times. I went to ZiZi's on two separate occasions and both times I was equally disappointed. The first time I got my nails done one of my nails broke 2 days later, however they did fix the broken nail. The second time I went my nail broke the next day!!!! I returned once again for them to fix the broken nail. Within the next 3 days I noticed that my dip nails started to get tiny cracks in the nail which has NEVER happened with me getting dip nails, and looked even worse as time progressed. So I decided it would be best to save my money and gas on second trips and take my money else where. The only positives about this place is the location, the inside does look nice, and some the staff is somewhat friendly. read more

I went here because it was close to work and I needed my nails shorter and dipped. I can usually go 17-21 days between appointments. After this tech did my nails it seemed as good as before. However, within 5 days I had a whole nail chip off! The next few days others were breaking off on the ends of my nails. I realized I hadn't seen him do extra on the tips like others had. I went back and told and showed the manager who said he couldn't help me and wouldn't even give me a discount to redo them! I will NEVER be back! read more
