Best pedicure I have had. She worked so hard at getting all my dead skin off my feet. My feet feel amazing. The massage with the stones is something I have needed- and didn't know. The vibe is friendly- part of family. I do not live in Waco but will add this to my must do list when visiting. read more

My friend and I originally were going to go to Nail bar and ended up going here instead because they accommodated us with no issue unlike the other place. My nails are the strongest and best shape I have ever seen by far from any nail salon. The gentleman who did my nails offered us Wine and really made me feel comfy. All of the women were very friendly! We will 100% be returning to this salon only when we are in Waco. Outstanding business!!!! Thanks again. read more

I had a really great experience today, I really appreciated the overall atmosphere of the salon with the door open and calm environment. Vivian paid such close attention to detail on my dip manicure and really took her time. She also gave a great pedicure and was happy to use my own products (scrub, lotion, etc) because I'm picky about ingredients. read more

This was the best pedicure and best walk in nail experience of my life. I usually feel rushed when at a walk in salon but this salon made me feel really comfortable and like I could ask for exactly what I wanted. They were not pushy about what package I wanted and they really took their time on my services. They were so careful when doing my gel polish- it felt as if they really care about their final product. It's really a shame I'm just in town visiting because this place set the bar for how a pedicure/manicure should be. read more

Mom and I came in one day while visiting family in Waco. After an extensive search for a great place to get Dip Powder nails, I settled on Serenity because they had several positive reviews. I gave them a call, and the woman who answered said they could accommodate us both. We parked just outside the salon and walked in. We introduced ourselves to one of the nail techs and then they gave us each a color selection booklet. A few minutes later, we were walked back to the pedicure area where we each had a tech begin our services after filling the basins and making note of our color choices. The older gentleman gave my mother a FABULOUS pedicure. I was kinda jealous lol. I was happy with the way my gel pedicure came out though, and the young woman who did my dip powder?! ABSOLUTELY STELLAR. I've been to salons in GA, and CA, and none gave me shape this great! She was friendly and polite and she just really GOT it! Overall a great experience except for the fact that my Mom didn't get her paraffin because the gentleman doing her pedicure forgot. :-( He was so nice, though (and did a fantastic massage on her) that she didn't mind too much. I'd for SURE come back here the next time I'm in Waco. read more

I went upon the recommendations from yelp. This place was a standard level of clean, which i think is not sanitary enough. My nail is unevenly done, which will bother me until i have them redone. There were several things i did not like beyond this. 1. Use is uv lamp on dip nails. It's not necessary, doesn't wear a well and i don't like the uv lights on my skin. 2. Soak hands in acetone is very hard on my hands vs. Wrapping soaked cotton around finger in foil. 3. Only 2 color layers, not 3. 4. Drimmelling the inside of my nails... why? To make my already very thin nails thinner? There was no need and it was done multiple times. read more

They're super nice here at Serenity and as other recent reviews mentioned, take their time. I had a dip mani and gel pedi today and was thoroughly relaxed by the time I left thanks to no one trying to do both at the same time (I hate that!) or rush me through. The gentleman who did my pedi mentioned to another client who asked him that the former owner retired about 8 months ago. I didn't catch any of the workers' names but there are two women and two men today and all are so welcoming and friendly. The other folks in here seem pleased with their services as well. Will definitely be back. read more

Fantastic! My family came in from out of town. There were a large group of us girls having a girls weekend and Serenity nails opened up on Sunday just for us! They are so accommodating and nice. We felt very welcomed and I really could not believe how willing they were to go out of their way for us and I will come back here again. The pedicure was wonderful and relaxing. The absolute best pedicure I've ever had...they do not rush at all...this is my go to place now...so friendly...

Stopped in from out of town (during Covid) and don't regret it! $35 for a classic pedicure with all the good stuff. My pedicurist paid very good attention to detail when caring for my toe nails. The salon chairs are very nice and comfortable. The whole place appears very clean. There are plexi glass dividers between me and my pedicurist and all of the clients were socially distanced at their stations. I was a walk-in on a Monday afternoon and did not wait. I was offered something to drink and made very comfortable. The pedicure itself was also enjoyable and efficient. read more

Super good quality and friendly staff. The price was fair for the service provided. 10/10 experience. Quiet vibe.

I came to Waco because my puppy hurt his leg and while he's at the vet, I decided to get a mani/pedi. I looked at all the reviews and Serenity was at the top. Not surprised because everyone spoke to me as I was in the chair, and I'm still in the chair as I write this review. Thanks for relieving my stress and allowing me to relax and enjoy this experience. read more

I have not had a brag worthy pedi in a VERY long time. This salon is so awesome. The people are the sweetest and pay close attention to detail. She gave me a long massage (even though my package only included 7min), she did 7 minutes on each leg! I did not feel rushed at all and they really took their time. I will be back! I also only got the 35 dollar pedi so I cant imagine how the expensive ones are! read more

I've been going to Serenity Nails for over 2years now. The owners and workers are always so kind and accommodating. I always come in getting a fresh new set, and my sets each time last up to 1 1/2 - 2months without any breaks or cracks in the acrylic. I also always bring in very complex acrylic nail designs to get done, and the shape and design always turn out spectacular. I've fallen in love with this salon so much I drive all the way from San Antonio to keep getting my nails done by them since I've moved. read more

I've been a fairly regular customer since 2017 until recently when a female technician slapped my hand when I reached down during a pedicure to point out a jagged nail she had left behind. I was astounded. Then, she ignored my comments and questions during the rest of the service. After, she said, "You come back?" Ugh. No, I will not come back. I wrote to them personally through their website and they offered me a free pedicure but I suspect the lady is still working there. If she's done it to me, I'm sure she has done it to other people too. read more

When I entered the spa, I was immediately greeted and sat down, even without an appointment. I was given a water and allowed many minutes to choose what color I wanted on my nails. David talked me into a dip manicure, and I'm so glad he did! It was my first nail dip! It helped that he asked me multiple times if I was ok, if the nails were ok, etc. 10/10 would recommend! read more

I am new to Waco and after reading reviews of othe nail salons in town I decided to try serenity! I didn't make an appointment for today and I got lucky with no wait, but they do get busy so I recommend an appointment! Kevin did my pedicure and my acrylic set. He was very attentive to detail and want I was wanting as the client! My nails look great and they are the perfect length (for me)! I will definitely be returning in the future! It was very clean and very quiet and I love that they use the pedi tub liners as well! UPDATE.... unfortunately what I thought was a great job turned out to not be that great! ALL of my nails were lifting and or came off after only THREE DAYS! I would have gone back to get them fixed had I not been on vacation in a completely different country. read more

Less than one star. If you are searching for a new nail salon go elsewhere. Not only are they over priced but their work is terrible. As you can see in the pictures my nails are uneven. Some are thick some are thin and over run outside of my nail bed. Also becareful with them spilling product. It might just end up picked up and used on your hand. read more

One word-Gorgeous! Absolutely Gorgeous! I've been wearing nails for the past 30 years on and off. I guess I decided to take a breather from nails about 5 years ago. So after my most recent 5 year sabbatical I decided to start wearing them again. I went to one of the most upscale nail salons that was limitless on their nail art. I had picked an emerald green for St Patricks Day with small gnomes on the tips. I'm then taken to a table where I was shown a metallic green. So I agreed, since I had been away for a while, that's this lady was up today on the most current nail styles, and plus she knew what was the most healthy for my nails. She convinced me to get the dipped nails and then apply acrylics on top, then color green . I didn't know this was wrong until Hailey told me about it cause I wanted to keep my own nail length. Hailey being the most magnificent tech as she is was able to salvage my nails beautifully. I highly recommend Hailey to each and everyone of you. Especially if you just want to just find out you weren't scammed. Serenity Nails are the best there is. read more

I just had my nails done using the dip. I was in a time crunch and they took a very long time. He told m they were dry, and apparently they went because 45 minutes later they are a total mess. Like previous reviewers have stated, this place is a hidden gem. I got a mani/pedi for $38, which I feel is more than reasonable for an hour of work. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. The place was very calm, no tv on or loud music...granted I went on a Thursday afternoon. Can't speak to what a Saturday is like. My biggest praise is that when my manicurist was cleaning/trimming the nail bed, I hardly felt a thing. Every other manicure I've had has been painful at this part, as the technician always cuts too deep. This was a pleasant and gentle surprise. :) I almost fell asleep during my pedicure, which really says a lot about this place. I will be back! read more

Serenity is a great place! They do a wonderful job with pedicures, very relaxing, offer you something to drink. I usually do the shellac manicure, and it always turns out very nice and lasts the full 2 to 3 weeks (sometimes only 2 for me, but I'm hard on my nails), and they pay a lot of attention to your cuticles and shaping. I never get the feeling, like I have at some places, that I'm "imposing" on their time. They are very warm and welcoming, and will listen to you if you have a question or make a special request. I've been going here for about 3 years, by far my favorite place in Waco. read more

Great customer service and skill! I was greeted immediately when I walked in the door, given a refreshment, and quickly placed at a chair despite not having an appointment. The nail technician, who I suspect was also the owner, was very friendly and talkative with me. I was also a bit of a handful because I didn't realize the color I'd chosen wasn't' completely opaque and allowed the pink of my nail bed to slightly show through. The lady was willing to work with me, adding an additional layer of dipping powder to help with the color. All in all, Serenity Nails & Spa had outstanding customer service, great attention to detail, and their prices are fairly standard: $40 for dipping powder. read more

Hahn did a beautiful mani/pedi! She was kind and not rushed. Will definitely come back here!

My daughter tried here to get her nails done. Had acrylic nails done with designs done on two of her nails. We were told it would be $35 because she wanted 2 fingers with designs. When he finished them he charged $5 more because of the length. She has never paid more for the length. And especially after being told the price up front. The very next morning 1 nail came off with no stress applied to it. We glued it back on and it came off again later that day. The second day a 2nd nail came off on her other hand. Very dissatisfied for a cost of $40. The paint was chipped withing the same 2 day period. She was planning to go back in a couple weeks to have filled but at this rate she won't have any left on her hands to fill. I would recommend checking out some other places first. The staff was nice and friendly but quality is just not there. She has had her nails done several times before with no issues at other places. They looked good the first day when they were done but they just don't seem to be lasting and the sudden price increase as they were doing them left bitter feelings. I would say go elsewhere. read more
