I've gone a few times to this nail salon. The front desk always lets the person doing my manicure or pedicure, that I'm Deaf/hoh. They always accommodate me, by not wearing a mask when they want to say something to me. I appreciate that! I have had a few nice nail techs, but so far, Loi has been amazing! He accommodated me. He was funny, talented and friendly. There are a lot of chairs so it's not usually a long wait. This salon is great imho. I do recommend it. I'll get a photo next time read more

Lan did an amazing job with the design I asked for, she had to grind off my gel and restart the design and didn't show any annoyance (which I normally get from other techs so i appreciate) & I even gave her a chance to just do stripes but she was determined to deliver what I asked for, I thought she was very nice for that! read more

This salon was highly recommended but I was so disappointed. I ordered a pedicure for $55 that was supposed to be an hour. Tech went so fast she did it in 40 minutes. I could've just paid less. I complained to the front desk. She didn't even care. Bad customer service. Well won't ever be coming back. read more

I would not use this place. They are liars and unprofessional. First time I asked for the person my friend told me to ask for and she stated she had an appointment coming in but the whole time I was there getting my nails done she never had anyone come in. Then the person doing my nails did not do them right and I had one break immediately. I went back to give them another chance and I stated I did not want the person that did them previously. They had me wait for 30 minutes and put me with a person who could not do American nails. She told the owner and the owner had someone else tell me they had no one else to do my nails. Worst nail salon!! I went on Friday, I showed them a picture of what I wanted, since it was going to be coffin shape, they said it was going to be $10 extra. Before she started shaping them, I changed my mind and told her that I just wanted short Square nails. She still charged me the $10 extra and didn't shape them right. I told the manager what happened and told me to go Monday. I went at 12 and told me to go back at 2. I went back and one of the employees told me that she was behind 10-15 mins, I said it was okay. 40 minutes passed and she still wasn't done. She offered to help me fix my nails, but when I showed her my dry, cracked cuticles, I was told I needed to pay for a manicure to fix that. I have had my nails done at several nail salons in Hewitt and this is the best place. My nails last longer than any other place in town. Call and schedule with Tracy or Jade (owners). They will make sure you are happy with your nails. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Plus... the animal channel they run on their tv will keep you smiling while you are there. read more

A guy here scratched my fingers real bad, and caused 3 of them to bleed. Additionally, the surface of my nails were turned into sandpaper because of his unprofessional manner. He didn't wear gloves and the sanitizing process was barely acceptable, not recommended. read more

My pedicure here was amazing. My nail tech was very attentive and my feet look fantastic because of it. Another review mentioned the technicians play around too much. I second that. There was a lot of laughing banter back and forth and a ton of interruptions. I was not in a rush so I didn't mind, but it can take away from the experience. My fill in came out ok but the ride was bumpy. I generally prefer female technicians because I feel as if I'm less likely to get nicked. I was nicked several times because he was in such a rush to get finished. After I asked for him to even out my nails and go over a few spots he slowed down a bit and took his time. He was hospitable however and apologized for each nick.....still. I will be returning. They have a gorgeous selection of dip colors as well as gel. I think pedicures are where they truly shine. As long as you speak up about your like or dislike of the results, I think you'll leave happy. read more

Really hate this place. Rude..says it all. I drove all the way from mcgregor to get a nail repaired. I was on lunch, called first to make sure I wasn't wasting time. I get there and wait and wait. Then they casually walk over and let me know that the girl who was to do my nails had to run an errand! What! All the while another employee sat there in front of me doing her own nails. Avoid gettin your nails done from here if possible!!!! I received a dip nail with my real nail and within 6days two of my nails broke and when I went in to get them fixed they fixed it with no problem. HOWEVER I would have been more satisfied with the broken rigid nail than their lazy patch up job. I use to be a regular here but NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET MY MONEY. read more

My stepmom visits here regularly for pedicures and has always made positive comments. She will even wait a day to get her pedicure if the business is closed! She's pretty loyal and the employees do remember her! I have been here a handful of times with my stepmom and I'm always pleased with their services. The staff are friendly and don't rush through the pedicure or manicure. The chairs massage your back which is amazing. They have plenty of colors to choose from for polish (regular and shellac)! Their hours are open late (9am-7pm) most nights but they are closed on Sundays! The prices are appropriate for manicures, pedicures and wax. Also they do offer water and alcoholic beverages which make the experience more pleasurable. The salon is well kept! read more

What an awful experience... I've been to a lot of nail salons in different cities and this was by far the worse. I came in with a group of 5 (called before hand and asked if I had to make an appointment for that many and they said yes with a 30 minute wait) that's fair... so we come in and pick our colors, I get taken to a seat right away and another friend gets taken across the room. Taking the powder off my nails consisted of a 20 minute soak in Acetone. Ouch. My hand is on fire so I take it out and pretty much get Reprimanded and forced to put my hand back in the burning concoction. I ended up just ending my session but was still forced to pay for the removal of my old polish. No customer service And unfortunately it got him multiple bad reviews because the group I was with was completely unsatisfied as well. read more

Tracy was recommended for SNS so I gave her a shot. I arrived for my appointment and the room was packed with clients - Because of this, the overall tone and pace was very assembly line. Lots of shouting and directives. I was told to look through some colors and picked one out. Was then asked to be seated and pick out another color because the set given to me was not the right type of polish. We set a color, she applied and I left. She did do a good job and she is very sweet, but their price is higher than other places and would prefer to pay less with just as good an application and more relaxing environment. read more

I do not recommend coming here. The people were nice but my nails turned out horrible. I did SNS and was there for over 2 hours. My hairs ended up being lumpy and not flat. I asked for a square tip and they were rounded. They fell off quickly as well. Not happy at all with my results at this salon. The shop I normally go to was busy because of the Easter holiday. I decided to stop here because there was hardly anyone there and I just a color change. First of all, they play too much. If a technician is busy with a customer, wait until she is finished. About three people were gathered around her playing and taking her focus off the customer. I never seen such foolishness. Also, the Polish job looks horrible in the light. I didn't even go back because I knew I would get angry. Lesson learned. read more

Best nails in Waco!! I have been coming to Elegant Nails for almost a year and I have always had a great experience! I love getting powder dip manicures and pedicures. Very clean facility. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Every tech is great and they really care about their customers. My nails always last over 2 weeks and look amazing! What a lovely change from your average nail spa. On my first visit I tried dipped nails for the first time and was disappointed that in less than a week they began to peel. When I stopped in to talk with Jade, one of the owners, she quickly set about fixing them. She greets clients with a smile, knowing them by name, explains what she is doing, let's you know if she is running behind and actually has a conversation with you. She genuinely has the best interest of the salons clients in mind, looking for quality products and seeks to make the clients experience a positive experience and healthy a visit. There is an older man who is by far the worst nail "tech" I've ever had that somehow has a license to work there.. He was rude and made 3 of my nail beds bleed... The manicure was so terrible and embarrassing that I went back 3 days later to show the manager.. They did however fix it the best they could without putting on a new set. I will however never go back on account of what happened. Too mad that if I happen to see the guy I won't be nice.. Better if avoided all together! read more
