I got a Gel X manicure here on the 7th. The girl who did my nails did not do any cuticle prep, did not check the length of my nails against each other, flooded my cuticle with glue on a few nails, and didn't do any typical manicure things (lotion, hand massage). On top of this,y basic set (cat eye polish and basic stars painted on) was $97 before tip. They did not have their services and prices posted. This place also was not clean, no nail techs were wearing gloves, and there was nail dust from previous clients all over their supplies. Found this place by my hotel when I called the person that picked up was very inviting! Upon getting here they hand me off to a chick named Lily... Here's the low down: This chick took advantage of not just my feet, but my legs too! She manipulated my toes to make it feel like I'm walking on clouds! But it doesn't stop there, after my hot stone massage with some stuff that made me smell like I was walking through a tropical forest of pomegranates! This is honestly the worst set of nails I have ever gotten. I have had these nails for two days before leaving a review. They are so thick and unnatural looking. The dip wasn't applied to be shaped to my cuticles/nail beds. As well in the pictures you can see after applying the dip they were not filed evenly or to look natural. My cousin and I have tried a lot of different nail salons around Grand Rapids, and she found this one a few weeks ago that neither of us had tried. After our experience it's now one of our favorites! We were easily able to get appointments the date and time we wanted, seated next to each other. They are still social distancing and I think limiting capacity, but the location is large and they have about a dozen pedicure chairs, so they can still have a good number of customers at a time. It might be different now, a couple weeks later, but we were asked to wear masks the whole appointment, and to wash our hands upon entry. None of which was a problem for us. We were a little concerned it would be very expensive since prices weren't posted online, but it was actually pretty reasonable for the service and what we received. I had my first-ever shellac pedicure (I run, so I figured going with more durable would be worth it), and my cousin had a regular pedicure. I think it was about a $10 upcharge for shellac. Both of us had phenomenal pedicures! They really spend a good amount of time on the leg and foot massage, even using hot stones for part of it! They are also really great about asking if the temperature is ok for the water, the stones, the hot towels. Not a huge detail, but their color selection is HUGE! We were each handed a packet/swatch of the color options that had so many options, and our packets were different. If you have a hard time making a decision try thinking of what shade you might want beforehand! We had a really wonderful experience, and hope our next appointment coming up in a couple weeks is as great! read more

This place was a great spot while we were on vacation to come in and get a pedicure. Staff answered when I called asking if I could come in shortly and when I arrived they took me within 5 minutes. I got the Arctic blue and it was a nice bright color to get on my toes. Girl did a great job with my toes too and didn't rush in an hour or less I was done. I wish I could give 5 stars I went with my sister and her experience wasn't as good as mine she told the dude who did her nails to file it more as it was bumpy on the sides and she told him twice and he just didn't listen. Two of nails were also crooked and she did tell him that, and that it needed to be corrected but it never got fixed. She also asked for clear acrylic not white, and I don't think he knew what she was taking about. My nail tech was really nice and sweet we had good communication and she did my nails so good I'm so happy with them. The other nail tech who did my pedi was very nice also my experience over all was good. Compared to all of the other nail places I've been to in the past this is my favorite so far! Worst manicure I have had in a really long time. I used to love this place so I stopped in when I was visiting town. I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment and it still felt like the tech was rushing. The manicure is sloppy, all over my cuticles and is bubbled because he did 2 super thick layers instead of just doing the normal three. Probably won't last more than a week. Super disappointing because this place used to be my go to. Maybe it was just the tech though. I asked him to clean up my cuticles since there is gel all over them and he attempted to simply file it off vs fixing the actual nail. Would no longer recommend going here. read more

I used to get my nails done at another place, but now exclusively go to Posh. Pre-COVID I would get dip powder done here every few weeks. Nick always goes above and beyond to do a meticulous, outstanding manicure every single time! My dip manicure stays on without chipping for three weeks at a time! Today I saw David and he did an outstanding gel manicure. They have a thorough process to keep everyone safe like contactless check-in, plexiglass, sanitizer, hand washing, etc. I haven't gotten a manicure since March, but Posh's safeguards (and the Governor allowing salons to open) have made me more confident to come back. Even though I will be moving 16min away from downtown soon, I will continue to go here because everyone is so wonderful in terms of service, hospitality, and quality. I popped into Posh for a pedicure and had a great experience. I usually opt for a basic pedicure, but thought I'd indulge myself and level up this time around. I chose the pedicure with a lavender scrub and hot stone foot massage. The experience (without color) lasted about 45 minutes, which I thought was of good value. It was just what I needed to relax and walk into the holidays. The space is brand new and bright. They take walk-ins and appointments. Same day, after work appointments are never available--that's because they do a great job! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The salon is clean and relaxing. The place is relatively new and clean. The staff was nice. There is no online pricing, so wasn't sure what I was getting into. When you walk in you get a "menu" of mani/pedi options with pricing. They use dental MMA not acrylic!!!!!!!!!!!! MMA is very poisonous and will not break! Hence why now I have to remove my nail since it cracked my real nail! HORRIBLE PLACE!! My friend and I stopped into Posh yesterday for a dip manicure. It was my friend's second time here and my first. She highly recommended based on her previous visit. Right when we walked in, I was definitely pleasantly surprised with how clean, open, modern, and updated the salon looked. It was very inviting! Tony was the one who did my manicure, and Nick helped my friend. They were both incredibly friendly, personable, and both joked around a little bit. I've had my nails done at many nail salons where the nail tech doesn't really talk or talks to someone else the whole time (which is honestly really awkward), so I was thankful to not experience that here. The manicure itself was great! It went by fairly quickly but didn't feel rushed, and I was very satisfied with the end result! Super shiny, smooth, and fresh! I usually go to the Posh location in Wyoming, but decided to try this location. Never again. I'm very displeased with my service. My nail technician David had to fix two of my nails that I pointed out before I left. I'm not sure what happened but I had three nails that had bubbles that looked like they had popped on my nails. I only noticed two of them prior to leaving the business. Now I will have to return to have the indent in my nail fixed. On top of that one of nails has a huge hump on it. My sister pointed it out when she wanted to see my new nail color. I'm very displeased. My pedicure appt was made the same day for 3pm on a random Tuesday. I was pleasantly greeted upon entering the business. However, when it was my time to go to the chair, a teenage boy came from the back to do my pedicure. He was not thrilled about it. My toenails we not evenly cut nor polished. the location is very convenient and super pretty on the inside. they took me day of which was nice, but i'm a little disappointed. I had acrylic tip nails on from a previous nail salon, which they obviously had to remove (and it costs $10 extra, which I didn't mind at the time), and on my right hand the man did the acetone with tinfoil, but on my left he took off the acrylic tip nails without tools and he used other tips to remove my old tips. it hurt a little but I was fine. afterwards is when it started to hurt a lot. this whole day my left hand has been throbbing and my nails hurt so badly. it's night time now and they are still in so much pain and i've been icing them all day and they still hurt so bad that I might go in and get them taken off, it's freaking me out. can't even use my left hand for anything without intense pain :,( they look amazing but feel absolutely horrible read more

I arrived for my appointment at 3:30 and was greeted a few minutes later and was told to wash my hands & take a seat at a nail station. The chair was full of nail dust from a previous client, but I reluctantly sat down. After waiting 25 minutes and no one came over, I inquired at the desk.
