Well, after leaving my last review about how terribly done my nails were they called me and said they'd make it up to me by giving me a free service. LIES! I went back in to get my free nails and see if they can make up for the last time, they didn't. They gave me "25%" off. Didn't end up being anything because they said they had to add tax to it. ENDED UP BEING $3 off. I had NO money to get my nails done at the time and would have NEVER gone back in. They were very rude and will not be going back EVER- them "making it up with a free manicure" is just them scamming you to come back in and get your money. read more

Cute nail salon. I was accommodated on a walk in basis, but I think they prefer you schedule ahead- especially if you want acrylic nails or more detailed designs on your nails. Quynh- the male nail tech- did my pedicure, and my dip nails. I originally requested acrylic, as I wanted something stronger than dip after a poor dip experience at a different salon. He asked me about what type of length I like on my nails and whatnot, and talked me into dip- I like short tips and mostly solid colors. I'll preface this next part with: I LOVE DOGS! I work with dogs and do petsitting as well, and the shop dog did NOT like me. He chilled out after a while, but was pretty persistently barking at me and trying to bite at my feet when I was being checked in. Overall, good experience, everyone was nice, and my nails came out cute! I will say- usually my dip would last 2-2.5 weeks when I had it done at other salons before I'd get them redone. I've had this set on for 2.5, going on 3 weeks- and I'm impressed! I cleaned up my cuticles at home at the 2.5 week mark, and I plan to get my nails done here again sometime next week! read more

When going into these types of nail salons the first thing I consider is cleanliness, and they pass that test with flying colors. Second thing I consider is how much time they spend on my nails. A mani/pedi should NOT take 30 minutes. They also excel at this. Even when they are busy.... I don't feel like my nails are being rushed. The last part to me is the quality. I visited A-T Nails for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. It was during a quiet time and everyone working was attentive and friendly. This is by far the nicest looking establishment I have visited and everything was tidy and clean. I had my nails done by a young gentleman who had likely grown up in the States because he seemed to understand me and even joked with me. I didn't think communication was a barrier in this nail salon which is a huge plus. Said young man did a wonderful job on my nails. All my nails look identical, the filing is pretty much flawless, and the top coat on my dip is streak free and has no specks or dirt trapped in it. I did ask for square nails and the nail technician decided he would try to make my nails look as natural as possible and gave me a shape that is somewhat skinnier at the end (partially coffin). I think he really was trying to help, and I ended up being very happy with it. Prices are the same as other establishments I have visited and my dip nails took about an hour which is what I'm used to. read more

This was my first time at A-T Nails. Overall, I had a good experience. The salon was very clean and nice looking. It was quiet and I had no wait even as a walk-in client. The women doing my nails made sure I like the color of my dip and even did a sample nail for me to make sure I liked it. With that being said, she did nick me few times with the filing machine and the nails are slightly thicker than I would have liked. I payed $50 for a full set of acrylics with ombré dip. I'm newer to the area, and my oh my are there a lot of salons with mixed reviews in the area. I've been to AT Nails twice now, and each time received amazing service. On my most recent visit, I brought my Mom for her first time. We both chose the deluxe pedicure - hot stone, scented fizzles for the water, and a massage for $35 - and it was so relaxing! The nail techs, specifically the beautiful (and funny!) Tracy, did a very thorough, careful job. It had been quite some time since we had gotten pedicures, and we never felt judged or experienced any pain. The staff are friendly, there are plenty of colors to choose from, the vibe in the salon is chill - they even offer complimentary water! We popped in on a Wednesday afternoon with no appointment and they were able to get us right in. I highly recommend AT Nails for their services, location, cleanliness, prices, and their employees. read more

Went back after a year or so after hearing they had new management. While I appreciated them fitting us in at the last minute, both my daughter's and my shellac manicures were rough, bumpy, and sloppy near the cuticle, sometimes overlapping skin and sometimes painting quite far from the edge of the nail. I know they are going to chip as they did not carefully avoid the skin. It is clean and seems sanitary, but their work is sloppy and disappointing. Will not be back. read more

I had a chance to go back to A-T Nail and I've had better experiences. For one I have given up the classic Pink & White nail service, which is complicated anyway. I started just having gel nails and that's a lot easier for nail techs to deliver a great service. That said, I really like A-T because their salon is spacious and that makes it easy to relax. The nail techs I've had more recently are much more skilled. I think I'll stick with A-T when I'm on this side of town! read more

Nicely set up and immaculate. Some places I go to have chipped walls or stained ceilings, or it smells like chemicals. This has none of that. I felt at ease. We got manis and pedis. They listened to what we wanted and were patient with me when I couldn't decide what I wanted. My youngest got the cutest daisies on a clear background and it was adorable. I have been going to AT nails for over ten years. The ownership has changed but I still continued to visit and was never displeased. The new owners are nice and the nail technicians are all very pleasant and efficient. After a recent visit , I am disappointed that I have to give even one star. I stopped in for a manicure and pedicure. I was very satisfied but had to wait almost ten minutes to pay. I was told the charge was $40. I apologized because I did not have cash for a tip and asked that $8 be added to my transaction. The gentleman charging me even repeated " So " $ 48 " dollars confirming my purchase. I signed the transaction slip that clearly read $48 and declined the receipt. When reviewing my credit card transactions I saw that I had been charged $50. Two dollars does not really concern me but I am not a fan of dishonesty. If this has happened to me , I am certain it happens on a regular basis. I decided to phone the salon and have discussion before just disputing the charge with my credit card company. A man answered the phone and I explained the situation. He told me that a mani/ pedi costs $42, so with an $8 the total would be $50. I tried to explain again that their price may very well be $42, but I was told $40. The transaction slip I signed was for $48. His response was " this is your fault for not reading the price list". This may be the worst customer service I have received in years. He never even asked my name. I told him that I would be reporting the situation to my credit card company and he said " go ahead". I also told him that I had been a customer for years and would not be coming back. His response " WE DON'T NEED YOU". In all of my life as a consumer I have never been told I was not needed. If you choose to visit AT nails, please be certain to watch you bank statements. read more

My mom and I had come to A-T Nails before our trip to Boston in order to get a spontaneous pedicure which ended up also including eyebrow waxing. First off, it was gorgeous inside, with faux white pillars and tiled flooring. Absolutely beautiful and calming. The pedicure itself was amazingly relaxing, even moreso because I was given the pleasure of keeping their absolutely adorable dog on my lap during the entirety of my pedicure (what pedicure includes a cutie dog??)!! My legs also felt so soft afterwards. It's been over a week now since I last went, and my nails are still looking gorgeous and the nail paint has still endured my barefoot escapades and dancing. I was very disappointed with my dip mani and hot stone pedi a few weeks ago. I made an appointment, but was very rushed by the manicurists and treated rudely.
