The price is for lifetime treatments so if you notice hair returning, just make an appointment at any of the 160+ locations they have nationwide. The facility is very clean, they give you robes for modesty, I have never waited for an appointment, it is always in and out. They are very clear about what they feel your results will be based on your hair/skin type/color and the area. I am very happy with the results with a 95% hair reduction in the areas treated. You're always being treated by a licensed nurse so you can be confident you are getting competent care. Everone's pain sensitivity is different but I have not found the pain to be worse than waxing and I am at the end of the treatment cycle. Taking IB Profen or Tylenol about an hour before going will definitely help also.

The Moxi you are prenumbed and that's probably a 1/10 or 2/10. You don't feel that at all. AFTER however is a different story, expect a sunburn like feel! I would say immediately after treatment for 1-2 hours after is uncomfortable. After that it's breezy. Follow you're given directions and you're good to go! During the consultation it was recommended that I have their Halo treatment for the skin surface and any sun damage and pigmentation problems. It was also recommended I have two Softwave treatments, this would supposedly generate new collagen growth underneath the surface. The before and after pictures for the Softwave were definitely impressive, but fair warning here, also VERY deceptive. I personally saw nothing like the before and after pictures in their brochures, in fact the esthetician and I looked at my before and after pictures and agreed there was little if any difference! I certainly appreciated here honesty in agreeing that there really was no change, especially when you consider how excruciatingly painful these 2 Softwave procedures were. I am not exaggerating when I say I have never been in such prolonged pain in my life, each session took at least an hour and this was after a topical anesthetic was applied! The esthetician even remarked that she had other clients who were also dissatisfied and that she was considering reaching out to the Softwave company to ask that something be done for her dissatisfied clients. She asked me if I would like to consider getting a third treatment at no cost to myself. I told her at the time that I just didn't think I could endure a third treatment even if it were free, considering also that there was NO improvement with the first two treatments, but that I wouldn't least think about it and get back with her. I did ultimately reach out to her through email, not necessarily inquiring about a third treatment, but maybe to discuss a slight reimbursement in the cost of the original procedure which was 4800$, if not that, maybe a couple of gift cards, that I could use on their very pricey skincare products. She never responded to my email. And to add insult to injury, I did have a gift card valued at 125$ that came with my skincare package that totaled just under 6500$ (this included the Halo,) (which is a whole other disappointment) that I won't go into here. And that gift card that came with the package actually expired before I even had the chance to use it. I mentioned that I had no idea it would expire, (it was in the fine print, not on the card itself) Nope, they wouldn't honor it! I am writing this review for others who are considering Bengston, just be careful! Lower any expectations you may have that you will notice any improvement whatsoever. And most of all buyer beware. In retrospect for me it was like pissing hard earned money into the wind. Hard lesson learned!!! Extremely Disappointed with Ideal Image Experience - Poor Communication & Unmet Expectations…read moreI went to Ideal Image for lip and cheek fillers, expecting a high standard of service and professionalism. I clearly communicated during my consultation that I had prior experience with fillers and even provided several reference photos showing my desired look. I was open about needing at least six syringes and was told this could be accommodated. Unfortunately, the entire experience turned out to be frustrating and disappointing. Despite discussing the "Russian Lip" technique and being told it could be done, the injector was clearly not trained in that method. On the day of service, I once again showed the provider what I wanted--and she ignored it. The results did not reflect the look I was going for at all. To make matters worse, when I addressed my concerns with the manager, she tried to upsell me on three more syringes of filler (another $2,000), rather than acknowledging the poor communication and mismanaged expectations from the start. If this advice had been shared during my consultation, I could've made an informed decision--but it was withheld until after I'd already paid and was in the chair. The woman who performed the injections came across as unpolished and inexperienced, and now I'm being told to return in two weeks to "get the rest of it done." That's unacceptable when I traveled here expecting professional results the first time. I have received filler treatments before -- including at Hingham Medical Aesthetics in Massachusetts and AFL Beauty Bar in Miami -- and those experiences were professional, comfortable, and aligned with my expectations. This was the first time I walked away bruised and emotionally shaken. The injector at your Grand Rapids location pinched, squeezed, and manipulated my lips and face in a way that was excessive, untrained, and painful. Please reference photos added. Pinch bruise on mouth and cheek. Instead of helping me feel confident and beautiful, this experience has left me feeling scammed and deeply unhappy with my appearance. I would not recommend this Ideal Image location to anyone serious about high-quality aesthetic care. I wish I had stayed with my trusted provider in Miami. The more I engage with Ideal Image, the more disappointed and disheartened I become. After reaching out to your corporate office, I was hoping for accountability or, at the very least, a sincere effort to understand and help. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness that bordered on gaslighting -- as if I was the problem, rather than a patient who deserved to be heard and respected. Even after I clearly communicated -- both during my consults and again on the day of service -- she ignored my requests and did what she wanted. What makes this worse is the shameful way I was minimized. To walk into a medical spa, speak up about your needs, show reference photos, explain your history with the treatment -- only to be ignored and handled carelessly -- is not just unprofessional, it is dehumanizing. When someone walks into a doctor's office or medical setting, they deserve to feel safe, listened to, and respected. Being minimized, overridden, and physically mishandled is not part of ethical care. It's unacceptable. I now realize why no one is allowed in the room with your injectors -- the practices I experienced would never stand up to professional scrutiny. At one point, I'm almost certain she hit bone in the back of my jaw. She was repeatedly yanking and pinching my cheeks and lips with no concern for my comfort. I now have bruising inside my mouth from how aggressively she handled me. That's not from a needle -- that's from rough treatment. On top of that, I had to consult with three different people at your office before my appointment. I gave each one the same, detailed information. So why even have consultations if they are completely disregarded? To add further disappointment: Ideal Image does not offer a veteran discount. For such a large company, it's disheartening to see such a lack of recognition or care for those who have served. This experience has been painful, physically and emotionally. I trusted your brand and hoped for professionalism. Instead, I left bruised, dismissed, and more hurt than helped. Ideal Image must do better -- because what happened to me is absolutely shameful.
