Extremely Disappointed with Ideal Image Experience - Poor Communication & Unmet Expectations I went to Ideal Image for lip and cheek fillers, expecting a high standard of service and professionalism. I clearly communicated during my consultation that I had prior experience with fillers and even provided several reference photos showing my desired look. I was open about needing at least six syringes and was told this could be accommodated. Unfortunately, the entire experience turned out to be frustrating and disappointing. Despite discussing the "Russian Lip" technique and being told it could be done, the injector was clearly not trained in that method. On the day of service, I once again showed the provider what I wanted--and she ignored it. The results did not reflect the look I was going for at all. To make matters worse, when I addressed my concerns with the manager, she tried to upsell me on three more syringes of filler (another $2,000), rather than acknowledging the poor communication and mismanaged expectations from the start. If this advice had been shared during my consultation, I could've made an informed decision--but it was withheld until after I'd already paid and was in the chair. The woman who performed the injections came across as unpolished and inexperienced, and now I'm being told to return in two weeks to "get the rest of it done." That's unacceptable when I traveled here expecting professional results the first time. I have received filler treatments before -- including at Hingham Medical Aesthetics in Massachusetts and AFL Beauty Bar in Miami -- and those experiences were professional, comfortable, and aligned with my expectations. This was the first time I walked away bruised and emotionally shaken. The injector at your Grand Rapids location pinched, squeezed, and manipulated my lips and face in a way that was excessive, untrained, and painful. Please reference photos added. I would not recommend this Ideal Image location to anyone serious about high-quality aesthetic care. I wish I had stayed with my trusted provider in Miami. The more I engage with Ideal Image, the more disappointed and disheartened I become. After reaching out to your corporate office, I was hoping for accountability or, at the very least, a sincere effort to understand and help. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness that bordered on gaslighting -- as if I was the problem, rather than a patient who deserved to be heard and respected. Even after I clearly communicated -- both during my consults and again on the day of service -- she ignored my requests and did what she wanted. What makes this worse is the shameful way I was minimized. To walk into a medical spa, speak up about your needs, show reference photos, explain your history with the treatment -- only to be ignored and handled carelessly -- is not just unprofessional, it is dehumanizing. When someone walks into a doctor's office or medical setting, they deserve to feel safe, listened to, and respected. Being minimized, overridden, and physically mishandled is not part of ethical care. It's unacceptable. I now realize why no one is allowed in the room with your injectors -- the practices I experienced would never stand up to professional scrutiny. At one point, I'm almost certain she hit bone in the back of my jaw. She was repeatedly yanking and pinching my cheeks and lips with no concern for my comfort. I now have bruising inside my mouth from how aggressively she handled me. That's not from a needle -- that's from rough treatment. On top of that, I had to consult with three different people at your office before my appointment. I gave each one the same, detailed information. So why even have consultations if they are completely disregarded? To add further disappointment: Ideal Image does not offer a veteran discount. For such a large company, it's disheartening to see such a lack of recognition or care for those who have served. This experience has been painful, physically and emotionally. I trusted your brand and hoped for professionalism. Instead, I left bruised, dismissed, and more hurt than helped. They lie to you about touch-up pricing. Their "lifetime guarantee" is a certifiable scam. I will join a class action lawsuit if it becomes available. I went in for a touch-up last week and when they said my total would be $435, my jaw dropped. That's more than four times what I was told it would cost when I signed the contract. We were assured by the salesperson that we were purchasing a one-time $ 250 lifetime program. It turns out we just got charged the second time after a year for $299. No notice, no nothing. When I called a rude rep said that I signed for it and they could just go ahead and charge it. Apparently, they can raise prices and charge you without prior notice. She never offered a resolution or a cancelation. She said "hold on" and put me on hold. After that, they just hung up. I called numerous times after that and they wouldn't pick up anymore. When you call them, there is no option for cancelations. I have all the emails and screenshots from when the salesman assured me that this was NOT an annual fee. UNETHICAL and UNTRUSTWORTHY - My 18 year old daughter, Ailis called Ideal Image for a consultation on Jan 5, she gave information under the impression that she was receiving a price quote, NOT signing up for service. She was not aware she was signing a contract. She was not aware there is a near 30% financing fee, and she was not aware that the cancellation policy would not be honored by Ideal Image. This is an unscrupulous business practice and is indefensible in how it both tricks and prays on the trust of potential clients. We have submitted medical documentation and formal letters of intent to cancel her policy. Casey, the office manager is remiss in returning phone calls. I did the cool sculpting and financed via Health Credit Services as they suggested for "no interest". For one, there have been no noticeable differences months after my "treatment" utilizing cool sculpting. This is with also exercising and a clean diet . All gains made have been through life style choices/ not cool sculpting which I regret paying too much money for. For two, Health Credit Services has been absolutely terrible to work with!!! I had it set up on auto-pay, the website did not pull my money. I spoke with my bank and they acknowledged I had sufficient funds and that there was nothing on their end for why this did not work. HCS however charged me two late fees for not noticing that they were not pulling my money, despite being enrolled in auto-pay. Which they verified I was enrolled in. They agreed to reimburse me one late fee, but not the other. Next, as a result of missing the payments (because they did not take out the money even though I was enrolled in auto-pay) they took me off the "interest free" promotion which is the entire reason I agreed to sign up for the card. When you try to talk to anyone, you get literally nothing solved. They bounce you around to different "corporate people" say its "corporate policy" and we will "let you know our decision in 7-14 business days". I got lip injections and had a very stressful experience. When I went in for my free consultation they did not tell me that once they started the quoting process its nonrefundable. Luckily, I made them stop and tell me before they could just sign me up and get me committed to something I wasn't sure of yet. That was how they trapped my friend into her procedure that she is currently struggling to afford. She said she wouldn't have done it if she had known how much it was but now she is stuck paying for it. They also gave very little info on the procedure and the processes during the consultation. I knew nothing about it when I went in and expected to feel more at ease and knowledgable about it afterwards but because they told me barely the gist of what it was and couldn't tell me the payments without committing me it was stressful. I felt like I had to pry info about it from them. The whole consultation felt very pushy. I was told the wrong info about post treatment and no info about how to prepare for my procedure. Because I was told the wrong info I had a terrible day after because I couldn't do the things I specifically asked and was guaranteed that I'd be able to do. When I went in for my procedure I hadn't eaten breakfast because no one said that I should so the nurse was obviously displeased w/ me. The nurse that did the procedure was also very short with me, not very comforting, and didn't explain anything to me. I didn't get to ask her many questions because she put the numbing goop on my lips right away. I was happy that I did get to tell her what I wanted it to look like beforehand but its weird to me that she didn't ask. She didn't tell me what not to do afterwards or let me know about the post-op sheet that she put in my bag so when I got home I had already eaten all the wrong foods by the time I saw it. Buyer beware! My 18 year old daughter was sold a package for over $3000. Although the contract she signed had a cancellation policy and the Ideal Image website has a cancellation policy for a $20 processing fee if the request is made within the first 30 days, Ideal Image will not honor their policy. Furthermore, they rescinded my daughter's ability to even read her contract and stated that the only possible cancellation option is due to a medical reason. They cannot disclose a single medical reason that would be considered valid and have not allowed my daughter to meet with any of their medical staff. This company is not trustworthy. read more

I waited for over two hours and ended up walking out, so I never ended getting my treatment and they state they do not submit refunds. Nowhere in the writing does it state this if treatment is not given. Absolutely absurd and would not recommend!!! They think they can keep almost $500 for nothing. Growing up I was made fun of just have hair on my upper lip and made me self conscious. I did research for over a year before finally making a choice. I heard their advertisement on the radio and decided to talk to talk to one of of the consultants. She made me super comfortable and taught me more things of how it works (even though I already knew most of it because of all the research I did ) I finally decided to my upper lip and chin done. I went to Ideal Image back in the beginning of October for a CoolSculpting procedure. I was told that this procedure would reduce the fat in targeted areas around 25%, but it would take about 3 months to see the full results. They gave me information about the procedure, one person telling me that my treatment was actually "aggressive", and showed me before and after photos. I was confident that I would see some results. Now, January 4th, I look exactly the same (and weigh the same) as I did prior to the procedure. Everyone was really friendly, I just think that the CoolSculpting procedure is a scam.
