Two days ago my knee began to swell and hurt with intense burning and pain. I went to Zeeland hospital where they took an x-ray and said it's not broken. (I already knew it was not broken!) they wrapped it up and sent me home with a note it was a sprain. Next morning my knee was all bright red. Frustrated with the hospitals results I called Crystal, at Shugula's office! I had explained to her the situation she was able to squeeze me in to be seen!!!!! Johnny on the spot! Dr. Joe Had me take off the ace wrap. He Examined my knee structure made a funny face and said" I think you have an infection in your knee!" He suggested to go To Holland Hospital. I went to Holland Hospital Immediately after I was seen by Dr. Joe. Really long story made shorter..... HE SAVED MY LIFE! I had bursitis and cellulitis in my knee if I would've kept it wrapped and sat on the couch for two weeks like Zeeland hospital told me to do the infection would've traveled to my heart and could've died. However, after an auto accident with whiplash in 2020...Dr. Angel assured me the whiplash would go away with consistency ...and it did. Between the medical massages, X-rays to watch improvement, and every chiropractor session he would genuinely want to know what was bothering me each session, and then would check every body point from feet to neck for alignment with paying extra attention on the issue that kept me up at night. After 6 weeks, I never felt so good. The entire staff felt like family! To get to this point, you need to be consistent and follow his directions. Recently, I had a strange throat clicking and a 'Stone' stuck in my saliva glands. I called Dr. Angel up after not being in his office for a year (due to feeling better), and asked if he could help me after two ER visits and two primary care visits. Instantly, he said come on in. I was in a car…read moreaccident 9 months ago and completed an entire treatment plan of chiropractic adjustments at a different practice until they said I was on "maintenance" even though I was still having severe neck pain, fatigue and numbness on left side of my face with headaches. I did a treatment plan of Physical therapy which helped some, but still did not resolve all of my symptoms. I was at my wits end when I called and scheduled with McAlpine chiro. For the first time since my accident, I finally felt heard and could sense his genuine compassion and eagerness to want to help me. After the first two adjustments I already had relief from the pain that I had for 8 months. Soon my mood improved, my extreme fatigue started to go away, and the pain was minimal. For 8 months my whole life was on pause. I was a completely different person. Once I went to McAlpine Chiro, I started making plans for activities with my family again! Going on bike rides, and making plans to participate in all the things I used to enjoy. Dr. De Young saved my summer.
