Danielle walked me through every step and answered all questions I had before I could ask! Not only was this a wonderful experience, but I will surely be coming back for more treatments here based on how I was treated! The BBL treatment itself was smooth but of course a little pain was expected. Where the skin is thinner was probably a 7/10 (under eyes, around your nose) everywhere else 4/10 and manageable. The Moxi you are prenumbed and that's probably a 1/10 or 2/10. You don't feel that at all. AFTER however is a different story, expect a sunburn like feel! I would say immediately after treatment for 1-2 hours after is uncomfortable. After that it's breezy. Follow you're given directions and you're good to go! I am 6 days post, and my skin is looking absolutely wonderful. I can't wait in a couple of weeks for the healed result. Thank you so much Danielle and the staff for making me feel comfortable! Did I find the basement-level office suite with its homemade sheet room dividers and folding screens slightly sketchy - Yes! I truly believe that wraps and saunas can be a great addition to a holistic lifestyle. These services are refreshing, they detoxify, and they help give you an advantage to losing weight or helping you with your wellness goals. My experience with the sauna here was no different. You step into a small enclosure that heats up so you can sweat out the toxins. There are windows in the unit so you don't get claustrophobic, lights for reading, and music playing. I went in for about 20 minutes at 120 degrees and started to feel it around 10 minutes in. I would say the sweat level was similar to a hot yoga class; not exhausting, but it feels like your body did something. Afterwards I used the baby wipes and cool towel provided and dressed and felt ready to go. I wouldn't say you need a shower right afterwards, but bring deodorant and make up with you to retouch yourself. That said, this office set-up is the kind of thing that does not do the services any justice, and in fact, gives holistic practices the less than professional reputation that they sometimes have. They are appointment only via email- which is fine- but that also meant (at least for me) there isn't a lot of traffic going around the back of the office building where Refresh is located- it was just me showing up for my appointment rather then people coming and going. So that felt a little weird. Walking in, the lights are dimmed and they have a small counter area. I was led back to my sauna unit through a maze of homemade curtains and folding panels to my "space". The curtains just barely covered my head, and had someone been in the next "space" over, they could've easily seen at least shadows and figures thru the flimsy sheet separating the areas. My area also had a door that lead to the back area- which felt weird- like at any moment someone might come in or go out through this door. I'm a little more of a free spirit about some things, but this whole set up made me feel weird. Would I do the sauna again- Yes. Would I come back here for it- No.

Everyone I've ever spoken to is knowledgeable and I appreciate that so much. Being put on hold for simple questions irks me and I never experience that here! Everyone is so great and is willing to answer any and all questions. The Bengtson Center also runs different specials every month which is great! I come here for my Botox treatments and see Lisa - she is incredible. She's very gentle and provides education before injecting so you understand everything about your treatment. She takes the time to understand what you're looking for and listens. Even if you're not exactly sure what you want, she makes recommendations of what she feels would be necessary which I totally appreciate. I recommend her to all my friends.
