We went in for a couples massage. Our appointment was 4:30. There was some paperwork to fill out. The place was clean and seemed to be calm and relaxing everywhere although the waiting room was a standard waiting room. We got to our room at 4:33. The massage began about 4:37 I'm guessing and our appt was for a half hour. The massage was good. They talked through everything and made sure there was no pain. The massage ended at 5:05 so pretty close to 30 min even tho we started late which was nice that they didn't cut it short or book back to back appointments. We paid via credit card at the end and added our too to the bill. Prices were very reasonable. $35 pp for 30 min and decreased slightly (relative to time) as you added time. So 45 min was $50 pp... This was my second time here and I had an amazing experience! The first time I came here, I shared a couples massage with my mom for Mother's Day and it was great, but I didn't think to do a review on it. Last week, my coworker recommended Anne who is also the owner of this growing practice! In talking to her, I discovered that since my initial visit, she expanded her office to accommodate 3 more couples rooms because of the high demand. The waiting area also looked more spacious. Everything was clean and didn't have the spa smell that other places have (that are linked with nail salons or other services). The bathroom was well lit and also clean. Before laying down, Anne asked me what I wanted worked on and she delivered. I really liked that the lotion she used was unscented and also didn't leave a greasy feel on my skin afterwards. Lynn and Tina took the best care of my boyfriend and me for his birthday couples massage! He is a huge fan of massages. Me, not so much, but I thought it might be a good way to relax and self-care before a long wedding weekend ahead. I made our appointments a month beforehand (I'm a bit of a worry wart...born this way, sorry Mom). I called a few weeks later to push the time back. They were accommodating on both calls. I appreciated receiving directions to the office, too. I would've been lost and late otherwise. Keep in mind: the office is off Breton Avenue, behind Rite Aid. There is a short pre-massage questionnaire to fill out. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early to complete it and so that it does not cut into your massage time! The couple's room is cozy and dimly lit. Lynn and Tina asked whether there were any particular areas we would like them to focus on (I love having my feet done!). They got straight to it and seemed to be working in unison! It was a very enjoyable hour, aside from falling asleep towards the end, catching myself snoring, and not remembering my great foot rub! There's always next time... On our way out, Tina and Lynn provided us with water bottles to neutralize the released toxins. They briefly discussed what they felt were our biggest problem areas (I learned what an IT band was, and that mine is very sensitive!). This is a great and surprisingly quiet location behind the building that is on the SE corner of Burton/Breton. The waiting room is spacious, inviting and clean as are the bathrooms. I was very impressed with the knowledge and skill of the massage therapist I had today. I've had lower back and shoulder pain and called the closest place near me. I left having tons more mobility in my neck and less pain. The therapist also gave me tips on stretches to keep the area from ceasing up.
