A therapist (Laura) at Simply Massage rejected all future appointments because the tips provided were not to her liking. This was relayed to me when I went to book her a third time and had to call. They seemed to have blocked my ability to schedule online. Calling is the only method at this point. This is basically " cherry picking" the best tippers. I am a member, yet it doesn't seem to matter. You would not be refused service at a restaurant for your tip history, so nor should you at Simply Massage. It seems that maybe the help needs a wage increase as they emphasize tipping, leaving it up to the clients whom already pay $70 to $90/hour for servicing. However, it was also explained that the tip reason for rejection is supported by management, not just one therapist. I am weighing my future relationship with this company. read more

On Mothers day, our son gave his mom a gift of a massage . it was purchased on Saturday, one day before Mothers day. Due to severe back pain, my wife wound up in the emergency room twice in 24 hours on Sunday, Mothers day. On Monday, literally the first day Simply Massage was open, She called to reschedule her massage , as she was on heavy meds and in a lot of pain. The person in the front office she spoke to was very rude, even suggesting she was lying. They charged her a $35.00 cancelation fee and ruined the Mother's day present from her son. read more

Heidi and Kevin are great. The front desk demon is horrible. Bad attitude, insulting. Have gone there for 12 years. Never again.

Laura is amazing. She is a great massage therapist. The staff is always friendly. Clean and calming environment.

The owners and receptionists are so rude. I had two therapists other than the owners and they were great, but I also heard firsthand what kind of people the owners are as bosses. Would never step foot in this place. They are rude and a little "off" as owners but bad people as bosses. read more

Vacation without the travel. Their membership is worth the price! I honestly don't know where I would be without them through this pandemic. They keep everything super clean. I LOVE IT! read more

I wanted to love my massage. Went 3 separate times and tried 3 different individuals. I would say really not very skilled and felt like they just were going through the motions instead of trying to work through my tension and knots. read more

As first time customers the couples massage went wonderfully. The room was comfortable and the environment was clean and inviting. The masseuses were careful to ask what was comfortable and adjusted to our needs during the massage. Definitely want a return visit. read more

My wife and I have been going to Simply massage for about the last 5 plus years. She fancies massages! We signed up for the membership, and would get regular 90 min monthly massages. We found 2 massage therapists we rather much enjoyed, Zack and Marissa. I was not for the membership but it keeps my wife happy so you know how they say it. Happy wife, happy life, so we paid for it. We went through a couple of people until we settled on them. We were scheduled this week for our monthly massages and my wife got an email. They switched our therapists. It was a generated email. No phone call, no explanation. I have situational anxiety and I normally do not write long reviews. However, this was so unprofessional it got me going today. So I called and asked why, they informed me that Zack and Marissa have parted ways.... So you are just going to throw my wife and I in with some other people we know 0 about. As I stated above, very unprofessional! Hold up, my anxiety is not going to sit right and you have us 0 notification just made the change thinking we were going to be ok with it. Thinking my situational anxiety was going to be ok with it. Ok I looked into this a bit deeper. I am happy to say BYE Simply massage! WE CANCELED, and I found out where they went. If you are interested in chatting with me as to where they went please read out, text me at 6 uno 6 6 zero 6 zero for for 7. I am happy to help people like my wife and I, who simply massage, treated us as another number and not as a client. If we were clients they would have personally reached out to us to update us as to what was going on and ask who we would like to go with. Please be warned they are extremely unprofessional! read more

I thought the massage was very relaxing and therapeutic. Professionally done and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend Simply Massage.

I have had massages many places but this place is by far my favorite! I like that they have listed on their site what each individual is trained in, so I can find a masseuse who fits my needs. Cupping used to be free, but now you do have to pay extra which is fine (since that is what every other place does as well). The staff is professional and the place is always well maintained and relaxing. I would highly recommend this place! read more

My second visit was a couples massage with Karen and Robbie, they were both amazing. The environment and people are both extremely comforting to be around and they are very good at what they do! read more

This has been my favorite place to get a massage. The staff is professional and the place is so clean and well care for.

It was great! The pressure was a bit much for me but i had put med to hard pressure on my form so it was my fault. I will be going back for sure. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very nice. I will update again later after a few more visits read more

Debbie did a great job . Came in with lower back pain and she was able to release and sooth the muscles to relax. Thanks!

Laura B was great! Would definitely recommend Simply Massage.

Highly recommend! Very accommodating for mother and daughter massage. Hot stone was excellent. Peaceful environment and gifted therapists.

I got a prenatal massage here. It was set up nicely and they made sure I was comfortable. My only complaint is the lady didn't stop talking, which made it not very relaxing. read more

Simply massage is a really clean and beautiful place. I had the best experience after a very long drive to Michigan from Florida. The massage therapist did an excellent job and the time flew by I would definitely give this place a try! read more

I was Gifted with a free 60 min massage and Zak did an amazing job. Just booked another appointment with Andee (can't wait!) I will definitely be getting massages every couple of months here from now on. Very clean, classy, relaxing, atmosphere. Very friendly staff that makes you feel very welcomed. read more

I used to be faithfully getting a massage at least once a week. Unfortunately my therapist moved to the UP so I stopped, unfortunately. At 76 I did not think it necessary. Then after episodes of knee, back, and neck pain I realized a massage was necessary. I sent notes to friends asking for advice on where I should go for treatment, and fortunately my daughter had visited Simply Massage. I had my first visit this week, and was simply amazed by the level of courtesy and friendliness. Bronson, my therapist, started me down the road to recovery. First treatment was very effective, and I'll be visiting there every week. read more

If you are in need of a break and 1-2 hours to yourself this is the place to go. Take care of yourself and get pampered. All you need to do is let the team there do the rest. Always a great experience. read more

Bridgette was amazing! I had instant relief after one massage with her. I will be returning soon :)

I've gotten a lot of massages over the years and this by far was the best if you need a sports massage. Zach was awesome. I got a referral from a friend that he helped out. The massage with the stretching worked out a couple issues I was having with my shoulder and foot. I highly recommend! It is very clean, professional and friendly! Love it!! read more

Best place I've received a massage! Very clean, friendly staff, relaxing environment and easy to make reservations. Highly recommend!

My husband and I have been going for awhile now. The therapeutic massages they offer are wonderful. When my asthma flairs up I have a raindrop massage with immediate relief that lasts for days. My husband always gets deep tissue for his chronic back issues and has found enough relief to cancel seeing a neurologist. If I am not feeling like deep tissue I will have a bamboo which gives me the effects of deep tissue with a little fluff and bluff added. They also have stones. Our favorites are Heidi Kevin and Robin. But all are good and know their way around. Kaleigh their receptionists is extremely knowledgeable and helped us figure out what we needed and placed us with the correct therapist read more

I received a massage from Lauren. She is very talented and did a great job at addressing all my needs and also offered helpful advice. The massage bed was very comfortable and she even asked what type of music I enjoy listening to! I plan to request her again. read more

First time going to Simply Massage and it was a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I got a couples massage through a Groupon! It is a very calming and clean environment! The therapists were very attentive to our needs and made sure we were comfortable. I had Bridgette as my therapist and she was amazing! I am a hairstylist and struggle with back and neck pain. She focused on those areas and my back hasn't felt this good in a long time! Definitely will be back and I suggest her for any aches and pains you might have! read more

Place is easy accessible and very clean. My massage with Kim was a great experience and she was very professional. Will definitely return and I highly recommend it! read more

I scheduled my first appointment here to have a 90 minute massage yesterday. My therapist was Melissa O. I have nothing but good things to say about this business and about my Massage Therapist. The location was easy to find, the staff were friendly, my appointment started right on time, it was clean and the table was super comfortable. Melissa's massage was ah-mazing. I've had a lot of massages in the past and this was by far the best massage I have ever had. She listened to my concerns, used adequate pressure and had a great attitude. I will def be going here, and only here, for all of my future massages! read more

Beware when buying their groupon as a gift!!!! Apparently you must ask the person you're buying the gift for if they've ever been there before because the groupon is for first time customers only. I had no clue that my sister in law had been there when I bought her birthday present. Now they will only honor the price of the groupon which gets her a one hour massage. So, I'm not getting what I paid for. Not good business. read more

After purchasing a Groupon I was excited for a 2 hour couples massage. details were 1 hour massage followed by a 1 hour hot stone massage. The massage only lasted 1 hour and 30 minutes total time which was disappointing. The Massage was not relaxing since both therapist were talking about the cocktails that they were going to have later that evening. I have had many other massages and can definitely say that this one lacked many things including no hand massage, feet or arms. I will not be returning and was not impressed. read more

I bought a groupon to get a massage for my 63rd birthday. When I could not get an appointment for 2 weeks away, I called them personally. I was told very rudely that since I was not a new client (I was at a previous location and didn't realize it was the same) they were not going to honor it. I understand the new client thing but did not appreciate the rude treatment. Not even a way to resolve it or credit what I paid for the groupon with a massage. Just "contact groupon for a refund" So much for good hometown Rockford service. read more

I was so impressed with the experience at Simply Massage that I joined their members club and set about trying out the specialty massage experiences. There is a two hour bliss with hot stones, or a sugar scrub, or bamboo for a mini vacation or a regular relaxing massage. I have experienced a good migraine relief massage, and on another day wonderful back focused massage which relieved the spasms in my lower back. I have met most of the therapists and although each provides a slightly different experience I have not yet gotten up from the table without feeling pampered, soothed and relaxed. read more

Just popped in today to see if I could get an appointment after feeling a muscle spasm coming on. Simply Massage accommodated me and I got right in. Lucky me it was with Jazzy who was available because she gave me just what I needed. The right amount of pressure--strong like I like it! My only complaint was the room was a little cold but the warm bed made up for it! read more

Had a good referral from a friend but was soooo disappointed! Always a bit unsure/stressed when trying somewhere new and I never did relax. Place was clean, but noisy rooms and staff dressed very sloppy and unprofessional. Gave bad impression right off the bat when I was trying to be at ease. Massage itself was 60 minutes and just ok. Have had quite a few massages in the past but this was the first I was totally unimpressed with! read more

My wife and I both had massages at different times, by different therapists and had the same experience... we were both VERY sore the next day and the massage itself was not relaxing at all. I understand what we received was likely considered a "therapeutic" massage. However, we were never asked what type of massage we preferred prior to beginning the session. We would have preferred more of a relaxation massage. We are not newbies to getting massages so my comparison is based on other massages we have received in the area. read more

Extremely disappointed with how disrespectful the receptionist, Kaleigh, was with me on the phone. Will no longer support or recommend this business solely based on her anger and annoyance she demonstrated over the phone. My experience with the massages were pleasant, but do not want to be disrespected when calling to book/inquire for something that is supposed to be relaxing. read more

Awful customer service, good luck if you even make it in for a massage. Receptionist's are not professional or polite. Upcharges for repeat customers seems like a strange business model. read more

First, let me say that the person that answers the phone is always very rude and short. That is a big turn off! I agree with Wendy about the cancellation policy when they were closed for a week! Ridiculous! There are several other massage options within a mile of this place that are far superior to this place that one should look at before settling for mediocre! read more
