We went to Supreme Massage as a treat to ourselves, not realizing it might help my friend's shoulder. We were shocked by how much relief and movement in her shoulder she got from the massage. Amazing! Despite living 50 miles away my friend is traveling once a week to Supreme Massage to continue her healing journey.

A therapist (Laura) at Simply Massage rejected all future appointments because the tips provided…read morewere not to her liking. This was relayed to me when I went to book her a third time and had to call. They seemed to have blocked my ability to schedule online. Calling is the only method at this point. This is basically " cherry picking" the best tippers. I am a member, yet it doesn't seem to matter. You would not be refused service at a restaurant for your tip history, so nor should you at Simply Massage. It seems that maybe the help needs a wage increase as they emphasize tipping, leaving it up to the clients whom already pay $70 to $90/hour for servicing. However, it was also explained that the tip reason for rejection is supported by management, not just one therapist. I am weighing my future relationship with this company.

Due to severe back pain, my wife wound up in the emergency room twice in 24 hours on Sunday, Mothers day. On Monday, literally the first day Simply Massage was open, She called to reschedule her massage , as she was on heavy meds and in a lot of pain. The person in the front office she spoke to was very rude, even suggesting she was lying. They charged her a $35.00 cancelation fee and ruined the Mother's day present from her son.

DO NOT GO HERE. (The minimum one star is for the cute dog)…read more I've had many different types of massages from different people- this was the worst experience I've ever had! For starters: Despite the fact that this establishment states that they accept credit cards (online & in store), when my dad & I went in we were told to go get cash from an atm. I said for $40? She said yes and told me she has to pay a percentage... Blab blah blah.. THATS NOT MY FAULT, YOURE A 'BUSINESS'! It's not like I was spending $5! If it was up to me, I wouldn't have gone back. But my dad just wanted something.. This is how my massage went: My lady hooks up her cell phone to some K-pop music which paused every few minutes because someone was contacting her. 5 minutes into my '45min' massage her phone rings and SHE ANSWERS IT. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt that it could be an emergency. Nope, she kept casually talking for about 2 minutes. I said EXCUSE ME!? She then finished her convo for a few seconds and runs back over and says I'm so sorry. Right. Obviously I was upset/couldn't relax the rest of the massage.. Because not only that, she ended the massage EARLY and it felt like a brisk, simple, back rub which was executed very ungracefully. My mom could've done a better job. I could not believe she was actually surprised that I didn't give her a tip! I mean you can't expect too much from these types of places but this 'business' is a joke!

I filmed the outside of the establishment and was putting away the camera as I entered the store. Some lady acted like I had brought witchcraft into the building and started freaking out at the site of the camera. She just made me feel so unwelcome in general. By the time she grabbed the masseuse, things were not a place for relaxation. I know people don't want to be on camera, but I clearly wasn't filming inside and actively putting it in my pocket. Her over-the-top reaction made me so uncomfortable I left - why would I want to get a massage in a place where people are that stressed out?

Glenn Frey once sang, "Nobody knows where you are going, nobody cares where you've been, because…read moreyou belong to the city." The image of being a point of light, in rivers of urban darkness, encourage us to think of where we belong, as his melody massages our souls. Souls, in this case, notes a return to an accurate definition of the soul of a thing; that is, identity. The soul of a city is defined by its identity. So for our identity, that which is formed from our aspirations built on experiences of the past, to find life in the urban, is profound. Will you experience such a transcendence awakening of self when you visit? Will the office staff treat you as a part of the motion, the river and channels of positive Urban life? Will your massage be soul shaping? The easiest answer would be that as much as we are able to humble ourselves to explore the questions, then we've learned to appreciate that the weight of the answer depends on our selfs. This place is a sanctuary for people who take their bodies seriously, and want them to be seriously taken care of, by skillful hands. Sarah, my favored masseuse, is a gracious host, with incredible talent. She often provides light within the moving seasons of life. This establishment is a source of light, to all of those who belong to The City. Thank you for your craft.
