I was told John would be the best therapist for me based on my needs and his abilities. John not only is sweet and friendly and a genuinely happy guy, BUT, his work on my body has changed my life. He's focuses on what I tell him to and offers a level of intensity completely based on what I prefer. He asks if it's too much or too little and is very conscientious of my comfort and healing. Each time I leave he always references payment as "the cost for investing in yourself." After my first massage I joked with him and said it was so good I needed a cigarette. One of the best massages I have had! John was great, very respectful and very knowledgeable! He worked on the areas that needed the most help and was able to offer suggestions for stretching and other ways to decrease the tightness. I definitely will be coming again! The room was dark and calm, the hot stones were great. There was soft music playing and was offered options for next time to make my muscles less tight. I highly recommend Westside Massage! It all started with the initial phone call with Eric. After going through the process of scheduling an appointment, I realized I hadn't even thought of my usual preference of having a female therapist. I'm used to going to massage franchises where you can schedule an appointment online and select either a female, male, or no preference. Once Eric said I was all set for a couples massage appointment with him and John, I asked if it would be possible to switch to female therapists. He was very kind and understanding of my request and was very adamant about us being comfortable. He took the time to help me find an available appointment with them, but unfortunately, nothing was available in the timeframe I needed since this was an impromptu birthday surprise for my boyfriend. I ended up sticking with my original appointment with Eric and John, and I'm so glad I did! They were so kind, personable, and professional and made us both feel extremely welcomed and comfortable throughout the entire process. The massages were amazing as well! I often leave massages still feeling sore in my usual problem areas, but I feel great and my boyfriend does as well.
