As a working mom of 2 I barely ever make time for myself so when I do get a few minutes to treat myself it's a luxury. Let me start by saying this took 1 hour and 45 min. the lady in the first seat dipped only a few of my nails 3 times and the rest are way thinner. (Like see through) She was about to put the topcoat on it and I mentioned that some are really, really thick and some are thin and another sweet technician came over and did what she could to fix them so this is another 20 minutes of her fixing what she could. I'm out $40 dollars and I need to get them fixed.... read more

I am not sure what happened to this place. I used to go there and they were always busy, but still got me in and out quick. I always had trouble picking a color as they had so many. However, the last few times I was there was not good. Nails were sloppy they complained as I wear my nails short with gel I have to for work.. and what's worse is the last time I got cut bad on both hands and feet. I had to travel out of town. I didn't have time to fix them also looked very bad with cuts on my hands and it hurts. I didn't want to say anything but I found out they were terrible to my teenage daughter who went with her friend. She also gave another chance because they always cut her as well. This time she broke a nail and went to have them repair it since she got her set there a few days previously. The nail tech argued with her saying they didn't have the color to match when she gets it done somewhere else and she should go back to them. Funny thing is she got her set done there. The tech continued to argue with her and say they don't do nails like that referring to the shape and design but that's funny because they did .. so not sure what the problem was but she only put one coat and no top coat and didn't match the shape. Also reminds me that I had to ask for a top coat on my toes .. they only charged me five more dollars than the other place I go and will continue to go to from now on but they way over charged my daughter as when I called they told me $45 but charged her $65, she did have a design on two fingers maybe that's why I don't know. Then charged her $10 for the broken one and again said she didn't get the set there when in fact she did. So we are now done with them . Again not sure what happened but when I went last time I was the only customer there so that probably says something. I hate leaving this review but the fact my daughter was treated so rudely I can't let that slide. No we won't go back thee are way too many "other" places to go . read more

This place is a piece of junk. Don't waste your damn time. I walked in here at 3:00 on the dot for a full set with gel polish on top..... ask me what time I left? 4:45. Nearly two hours for what should have taken max an hour. Oh and how much did it cost me you ask....? 50 freaking bucks.....get out of here. I have no idea who you think you are but this is a whole in the wall and not even worth 20$ let alone 50. Needless to say I won't be back and plan on filing a complaint with the business owner. Always great service. It's in a great location with friendly staff who take their time to do quality work. If available you will get both your mani and pedi done at the same time which is my favorite. As a nail polish junky I appreciate the collection of colors. read more

My mom, sister, and I made appointments and were seated quickly. They had plenty of color choices and the women were sweet and fun to talk to. When a disgruntled customer came in, the women handled it well and stayed calm and we had a laugh about it when she left. Just okay. Went in for a pedicure, place was a ghost town. That initially worried me. I got my deluxe pedicure. The water was luke warm and wasn't relaxing, she spent way to long doing cuticles and the massage was subpar. She hardly massaged my feet. Plus side, it's cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. It sucks because it's such a prime location in the village. It's outdated and not organized. read more

Highly dissatisfied the past two visits. Both times I asked for short nails with rounded edges and the nail techs failed to acknowledge my request but rather made My nails longer very square with pointed edges. The last time resulted in me switching my manicure to basic with no polish so I could just leave. I will not be returning after this. read more

I really wanted to like this salon, it's close to my house and reasonably priced. However, I visited here in early January to remove my previous gel and get new gel applied to my finger tips. The manicurist noticed my nails were stained from my previous gel, repeatedly used the dremel to get the redgel off. I wanted white polish, so I understand why she tried to get it off, but regardless I was in pain with the dremel and eventually I ended up saying that I would just get a darker color (instead of her recommending it) so she would stop using the dremel. Any other manicurist would have realized that they were making my nails way too thin and would have stopped before it got to that point. She used it to the point that my nails were so thin and it started to become painful. She finished my manicure, but 10 minutes after I left one of my nails broke because it was so thin, and within three days I had broken 4 nails (very abnormal for me). It's now been three weeks and my once strong, long nails are now brittle, peeling and broken. I will never be returning here and would not recommend it to anyone. I should note that I have had my gel removed with a dremel before, but never to this severity/extent. read more

Came here for a spa pedicure (that was gifted to me), and it didn't disappoint! This was my first time ever getting one of these so I didn't know what to expect. The staff is friendly and very nice. Kim is the one who helped me and she was amazing! She was so sweet and really made me feel pampered. When she massaged my feet it felt amazing! She walked me through the whole process and was extremely gentle. The sugar scrub on my legs was my favorite part. I will probably be doing a spa pedi more often after this experience. I stopped by here today in the afternoon for a manicure/pedicure. It was my first time coming to this nail salon. When I arrived, they were pretty busy and I had to wait about 20 minutes. Thankfully, they had me sitting down with my feet soaking in warm water. Tina and Tammy did my nails and they were both very sweet. They were a little bit intense with their tools but overall very thorough and a great job done! They both gave me massages that were nice and long.. what a treat! I will definitely be coming back here the next time I need my nails done! read more

If I had the option to do "0" stars i would. I had made an appointment for two pedi's and when I went in for my appointment (on time); they ask if I was willing to wait 45mins. I agreed, wrote my name down on their sign in sheet and walked around with my baby and husband until the given time. When I returned i was not even 10mins late from their requested wait time, the lady who asked me to come back after their already requested added time (45min later), rolled her eyes and said, "Oh, i waited but you weren't here" as she hands their service menu to someone else. read more

This is my favorite nails salon and will only go here when I am free to get my nails done. All of the workers are funny and nice. I highly recommend on asking for Tammy, she will make sure your stay and your appointment is perfect. They really focus on the littlest details when doing your nails. If you are up for a pedicure I have to suggest on getting the Heavenly one. They massage and rub your feet and do this warm wax on them and it makes your feet become baby smooth. So if you want to relax and enjoy your nail salon I say to go to carlsbad and walk on into popular nails. read more

Honestly I have been coming to this place for the last 20 years. They do good work. The staff is kind and my nails always last a long time. That said....don't bother making an appointment. They never keep to them. It's absolutely infuriating. You're better off just walking in and asking how long it will be because when you have an appointment they still put you in the same queue. Just today...I've been sitting here 30 minutes past my appointment time and still haven't been taken to a chair. That said, I'll keep coming back I just won't make appointments. read more
